Ariel and Marisa are excellent artists and teachers. We learned about various printing techniques, drank delicious beers, ate yummy focaccia, met interesting people and printed our own beer coasters in a single night's workshop. Highly recommend a visit to their studio/museum or online store. Update: After three workshops with them, still excellent!

Incredible experience!! From the entrance to Palacio Durazno you are surprised by a different atmosphere. You leave the elevator behind and enter the workshop, where you breathe another air. The aromas of the inks and pints envelop you. The passion, dedication and wisdom of Ariel and Marisa make time pass and you don't register it. You leave full of learning and wanting more. 100% recommended!!! A pleasure.

It was a really great experience! I learned a lot about so many things... Marisa and Ariel not only know the history of design and art but are an inexhaustible source of technical, artisanal and human knowledge. The great dedication and enormous vocation for teaching is evident in both and the passion they transmit is contagious. I thank you very much for the experience and I 100% recommend the workshops. Beautiful workshop in the Palacio de Durazno, an emblematic building in Montevideo from the 1920s, led by Ariel and Marisa, very hospitable and knowledgeable in various manual design techniques related to lettering and printing, among others. With a spectacular view of the promenade, a magical place full of creativity.

On Saturday the 12th I went to Buena Letra to participate in an engraving workshop. Upon arrival I was received with tremendous warmth, in a space that wherever you looked was loaded with history; The amount of material, information and experience is incredible, and the space overflows with Marisa and Ariel's passion for what they do. It truly is a museum and a unique space to learn and experience all these ancient arts. Without hesitation I will participate in a new workshop again, they are worth it
