Very very beautiful place. Located just next to the Santa Thereza park, its hidden away in nature. You'll notice it is on top of a slightly lifted point, which is a rare thing to find in this part of the country since most of the area is flat. There is a small entrance fee to pay before getting in and of course you will have to leave your pet at the door or your car. The walls are not so high but very strong and thick. The place is very well maintained. We did not have a guide but almost everything you need to know is written in all the rooms and walls where the history is well guarded, that's if you can read Spanish of course. You can talk walks on both the upper and lower floors seamless. The place has the canons which were used in position. You will also find a lot of the uniforms that were used by the earlier Spanish armies intact and well maintained, from as early as 1888. The place has a few replicas like swords and knives, and many of the ones used originally. The most interesting view of all i believe were the toilets that were used. You will notice the stool just used to fall outside as one eased themselves. I do not know if that was a defense tactic too. There are actual rest rooms to use right outside the fort. Inam certain anyone would enjoy a visit at the fort.

(Translated by Google) Fuerte San Miguel is on the border of Rio Grande do Sul and Uruguay, at Chuy. A great place to visit, the value of the tickets is around six reais, a place very well maintained, grass trimmed and easily accessible. It contains cannons, clothing, weapons and many more artifacts from the time when the fort was active. I recommend visiting this place.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful walk full of nature and history. A very careful monument... an example to follow. With the hill and the museums, it is the ideal family outing. $50 entrance to the fort, children under 12 and over 65 do not pay. The Creole and indigenous museum is also beautiful. With plates and samples of everything.
