One of the best sunsets you'll ever experience. It's a must for any tourist in Punta del Este; this place is filled with a magical atmosphere; not only you can have a fantastic view of Punta's but the sunset here is breathtaking: the wind, the hills & coastline, the ocean, the warm wind... you have to go there and experience by yourself. It's a 15 min drive from Punta (considering high season traffic) and you should try to get early to get a good spot.

Great place to watch sunset and hang out. Wasn’t too busy when we went. Worth a stop off for the view.

Beautiful. Images like the Caribe. In general, Uruguay at its best. Maybe better than Punta del Este.

The tip of Punta Ballena marks the limit of the Rio de la Plata on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. It is one of Uruguay's iconic places for watching the sun set, with spectacular views of the coast, Punta del Este and Casa Pueblo. Access to the viewing area is by paved road and is free of charge.

Stop on the way to Punta del Este on a bus tour from Montevideo. I skipped the art museum to view the scenery.

Great view, quiet if you pick the right time, but can be on the crowded side is full season. Nothing else to do here but walk around and enjoy the landscape
