Hugely hyped place, slowest service, food is ok ..and rates doesn't match with quality... No menu is provided.. so you don't get to know upfront price like tea is 47 , mango shake 160..and quality is no near to the quality, service provided and ambiance.. same dosa taste you can get in road side vendor...

Pathetic in the town! Please don't go with the rating it has got. I don't know how it was earlier but now there were no varieties. I've tried many types of dosai here, not at all tasty. Most of the foos from were not available. Service is very poor. Very miser to serve chutneys. Mountain High costs. Watermelon juice costed 80 bucks which is fully mixed with water.

The food was tasty and very good. But service has to be improved. Ample parking inside the hotel compound assisted by security guards. Every one try FIFA IDLY...😋

Surguru is the best vegetarian restaurant in pondicherry. It has a limited ambience, but the food here is absolutely delicious!

It’s one of the best veg restaurant in terms of food quality and taste in pondicherry even though I have given only 3star rating instead of 5 star because of few irresponsible behaviour of staffs like not served water bottle even asked for three times and they were saying need to bring from store after 20min And once I requested for hand tissue papers in my table and same was issued but within 2 min of time some other lady staff member pulled out from my table to give some other guest table without asking us. Basic ethic training required for staff members.

Overall service is good. Car parking available. Some of the food was hard. Now the taste is not upto the mark when compare with 3 yrs back.

I being a non local loved the service they did not charge me single money of item if I did not like , staff is very friendly I had first time appam idiappayam adavalai on their suggestion. They maintain standards I would recommend anyone to once go to hotel surguru. Tiffins are available all times with meals and northindian food too .

A must visit restaurant in Puducherry. Their South Indian special veg meal is excellent. Additionally, they provide the thick Mango panna, soup along with food. Excellent food and quick service.

I had breakfast here with family. The hotel is clean and we had tasty food here. There is filtered water available. There are high chairs for kids too. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

This is usually crowd place, since it's 7.30am you can see free, very busy place always but you can get tables in due time. Taste is good, pure veg, can try for breakfast, lunch, snacks too...

Nice place for veg food. There are i guess 3 or 4 branches. This was the second one I visited which was near to my hotel Accord. Had a nice walk of about half a kilometre and had plenty of good food at decent price. There pooris are also good to try big size.

Food tastes good. Service is also very good. Ambience can be improved. Otherwise everything is good. Separate parking facility isn't available. You can park infront of the hotel. About 4 cars can accomodate.

Amidst the modern cafe's of pondy, this is one of the older hotels. We went for breakfast and the food was good. The chutneys and sambar almost tasted like home cooked breakfast. The servers were nice. Although there was delay in attending to us, the food was promptly brought out once we placed the order. Overall good for going with family and children.

Thavala vada was very traditional and good . The appam was served with kadala curry and coconut milk. The coconut milk was very dilute and appam with a little thick . The French dosa was diffeeent to the taste buds - it has cheese, noodles and cabbage inside it . Mushroom pulao was very tasty. green peas masala was also good

Bought Pongal, Vadai, Masala Dosai, coffee. It costs like 5 star hotels. But the taste was very good. Went to the hotel at 10:30 on Tuesday, so no rush. The seating was very comfortable. Recommended.

This restaurant is very good if you are a vegetarian. The menu is extensive and the food is great, covers a wide range to tickle your test buds. But as this place is so good at peak meal times, you might have to wait 20-30mins before you are seated.

Pathetic experience, if you between 1 to 3pm in this branch. No one will mind you. U have to wait in line for longer time to sit. Even if you sit they will take another 10 min for taking order, then 30 min to bring food. We told multiple times that person who came after us is already going to finish their meal but ours is not even served. We informed thrice that our order is getting delayed. No one even bothered. Hence we had to leave after 45 min of food order as no one even bothered to see us. Very bad customer service. Don't go by ratings here. Better hotels nearby.

Well established chain of hotels in Pondicherry. Good food, vegetarian only. I believe they take care of their staff well, so one can see same faces again after years together. Car parking available, bike parking too available. However the car parking is open place, hence during summer it's very difficult to get in after a good meal. Restroom available. Overall the food is good, spacious place with ample parking. Must visit if you are vegetarian.

One of landmark vegetarian restaurant in Pondicherry. Always over crowded . Little bit patience is required, especially during lunch time. No social distancing is maintained.

They prepare your order really quick.. paneer dosa is heavenly… the meal combo was good Mushroom 65 was so crispy and tasty… must try .. highly recommend
