If you find yourself in Puducherry near the railway station and have a craving for a delicious and soul-warming soup, then Nizam Soup Shop is an absolute gem that you cannot afford to miss! I recently had the pleasure of trying their amazing soups and I must say, it was an experience worth every penny. First and foremost, let's talk about the price. At just ₹30 per bowl, the soups at Nizam Soup Shop are incredibly affordable, making it an excellent choice for those on a budget. The affordability factor definitely adds to the overall charm of this cozy little place. Nizam Soup Shop offers a variety of soup options, and I had the pleasure of trying their egg soup, aatu kaal soup, and samosa. Each soup had its own unique flavor profile, but they all had one thing in common - they were absolutely delicious! The soup was served piping hot and packed a flavorful punch that left me craving for more. What impressed me the most about Nizam Soup Shop was the unique taste of their soups. It was evident that the ingredients used were of top-notch quality, resulting in a delightful blend of flavors that was both comforting and satisfying. The chefs at Nizam Soup Shop truly know how to create a memorable culinary experience. While the taste and affordability of the soups alone make Nizam Soup Shop a must-visit, it's important to note that the place can get quite crowded. However, I assure you, the wait is worth it. The popularity of this shop is a testament to its amazing food and friendly service. The ambiance of Nizam Soup Shop is simple and unpretentious, which adds to its charm. The staff members are welcoming, and their warm hospitality makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. In conclusion, if you find yourself in Puducherry, make sure to visit Nizam Soup Shop near the railway station. With their affordable pricing, unique taste, and friendly service, this place is a hidden treasure for soup lovers. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait due to its popularity. Trust me, it's well worth it!

#MustTry #PersonalOpinion Was recommended by one of the peers in pondicherry.. Since we had some heavy meals in the noon, planned to have light touch up before dinner.. Soup was top notch here.. that too with egg.. Would try again and again whenever i visit pondicherry hereafter.. Chicken samosa also good, but my focus is only on soup with mutton leg next time 😋😋😋 Egg soup 30rs, with mutton leg 120 rs Chicken samosa 25 rs per piece.. It is a road side shop, you have 10 to 15 stools to seat.. It seems one of the busy road, i m sorry i don't know where exactly it is located as we came by car. Parking isn't available, we have to park the vehicle in left side of the road..

Very Famous soup Stall opposite to Puducherry Railway station. Have been their irregular customer for over a decade now. In recent years the space has changed a lot in good ways. The outdoor seats, serving plates everything changed. Their authentic taste remains the same. Service and Hospitality are always good. The soup with that little crunchy fried onions and the mutton fat increases the flavour to next level.

The soup is good. Samso is shapeless due to quick mass production and cabbage overpowers the mutton kheema in the stuffing. Tried it 3 straight evenings for snack.

Could be better but fun to try once. Parking is definitely an issue. Ample seating available to relish the soup and samosa. Soup is more thick as compared to normal consistency. Samosa is not very oily and done well.

My goto place in Pondicherry. It's a roadside kart selling Mutton soup and Keema samosas. The taste is ultimate and consistent over the past years. The place is usually crowded. This shows how much people love it. The soul and samosas are affordable too. They accept UPI payment too. Get some samosas and eat them in the Promenade beach. Hot samosas + Chill sea breeze - An amazing combo. Thursday holiday! A must try !!

I’m a regular customer for this shop. During my college days (2012) I have started to have soups and samosa with my friends in this shop. Both soups and samosa are lively cooked and severed instantly. Only drawback they won’t provide drinking water. We should buy there (20₹ per litre) or need to bring a water bottle from home. Note : I suggest to have cash sometimes UPI is not working due to over crowd since it is located near railway station.

The best soup I had in a long long time. The mutton leg soup is ₹30 and the keema samosas are for ₹25 each! Delicious! Ample place to seat and relish the food. We got there by seeing the crowd and that was the best decision ever. Afterwards, we read the reviews and were proud of our intuitions. Happy travelling!

Nizam Soup shop is very famous for their mutton soup and mutton samosa. They have a unique samosa taste and the crust of their samosa was so good. If you wanna visit here, then you should try their samosa and soup at the same time.

Pondicherry trademark soup shop. My favourite without a doubt. Apart from the atmosphere this is the best Soup shop in town. Not a big fan of their samosa which I would rate as average but the Soup is just my favourite! Mutton leg soup might feel expensive but I would say that's fine if it's once or twice a month. Don't miss it...

As being hyped by everyone, the taste is not worth the price. In Mutton Keema samosa, I couldn't find mutton Keema at all. Mostly, it was onions. I still have good memories about this shop, while it was small and not hyped by social media's. During that time, I never had the necessity to comment or rate even. After increasing the price due to fame, at least quality should have been the same. I hope at least this comment would bring out a little bit of change in the quality of food served.

The samosa and beef soup is just yumm. This place was recommended by our homestay host as a must visit place and it was truly worth the visit. Do visit and have a quick bite. The shop seems small but their food is really good. The food is also prepared in a hygienic way and with a reasonable price.

Very bad! The consistency and taste of the soup and the mutton samosa is gradually reduced. Been their customer since my childhood, I am used to their outstanding taste and the quality they offered then when they had their kart near to a mosque which is exactly at the backside of where they are positioned now. The soup now is as watery as a seasoned kidney water (masala urine) and the mutton samosa is now less of mutton and more of onions and cabbage. I would say now they have upgraded to vegetable soup and samosa with a hint of mutton particles. I see their upcoming strategy for the tourists in the future where they will sell mutton samosa and soup clubbing with treasure hunt activities soon with the title "Finding Mutton".

Famous for mutton soup and mutton samosas. Apart from dry samosas, Do not forget to try crushing the samosas into the soup. Street food, parcel available, seating available on the sidewalk

Here mutton soup was nice but not much taste in samosa. Atmosphere is normal because there is not much sits available because of street.

Mutton leg soup is a must try dish here. But couldn't able to find any difference between their mutton samosa and the normal samosa. Soup only 30 Rs and with leg it cost you 120 Rs. No specific parking area.

A simple road side soup and samosa shop ..... Yet the energy and hospitality of those people work here are so gud...... Location is at road side yet they manage to provide sufficient stool and table...... Soup yet not best ,tastes good.....!!! Definitely can try once and follow accordingly......!!

Mist unique tasting leg soup I have had. The fried onions and spring onions add an extra layer of taste that lasts after every sip. You will always see the joint full with people sitting along the street side while the food is served from a food cart. The samosas are freshly made and taste great as well. If you like egg, don't miss out on the soup with egg..a good twist.
