I liked this as much or more than the palace. You can, if you're lucky, witness people, professionals and apprentices blowing glass and other types of this craft. The museum is beautiful. probably not well known, but essential for the traveler. The pieces that you will find, even from other places and other artists, are amazing.

Just a few minutes walk from the Parador Amazing building - huge museum. Well with a visit. We really enjoyed seeing the glass making in action The highlight for us was the modern glass art exhibition. Some really stunning pieces. The shop is a bit disappointing and pricey Well worth a visit

As a professional wedding photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing unforgettable moments in numerous locations, but the Royal Crystal Factory stands out as a truly exceptional setting. Raquel and Paul's wedding in this historic location was a photographic experience like no other. The architecture and gardens of the Royal Crystal Factory provide a stunning backdrop for photography. The windows that bathe the spaces with natural light and the historic structures provide a setting that enhances each image with a touch of elegance and sophistication. The diversity of spaces within the factory made it easy to capture a wide range of emotions and moments: from the intimate and serene ones in the gardens to the more festive and vibrant ones in the interior halls. The combination of natural light and architectural richness created unique photographic opportunities, allowing me to capture the essence of every moment of the wedding in an authentic and artistic way. Additionally, the team at the Royal Crystal Factory were extremely collaborative, ensuring every aspect of the wedding flowed smoothly, allowing me to focus on capturing the beauty and excitement of the day without interruption. In short, I highly recommend the Real Fábrica de Cristales for any couple looking for a unique wedding venue. As a photographer, I can say that it offers an unparalleled setting to create stunning and timeless visual memories. Without a doubt, it is a place where history, beauty and love come together to create the perfect magic for any wedding.

We took the guided tour and it was very interesting. I doubt I would have understood what I was seeing without the help of the guide. You can see various exhibitions, as well as the factory.

The building alone is beautiful. Take a leisurely stroll around and enjoy the beautiful things and the history of glass making. There was also a nice exhibition by an artist. Glass blowing was also seen in action. In the end, nice glassware for sale for a nice price. Entrance was €6 pp

I have visited La Granja de San Ildefonso several times, but I had never entered the Royal Crystal Factory and I had never actually seen glass blowing and I loved it, the girl who was doing the demonstration was an artist and also super nice.
