Unfortunately I have to disagree with other people’s opinions. I stayed for one night in far home Bernabéu. Hall and entrance look very modern however I struggled to find somebody at the reception (no matter the time I rang the bell, nobody answered). Thankfully there’s a phone number by the entrance I could call and got in contact with them. I got assigned a bed in a six-bed room. When I got there, there were 5 men in the room. It was quite smelly and messy. I tried to find a receptionist but couldn’t find anyone. I ended up calling the phone number written on the counter. I asked them if I could be placed in a mixed room as I am a woman and didn’t feel comfortable spending one Saturday night in a room with 5 men I didn’t know. They told me that even though the rooms were supposed to be mixed, they couldn’t find me a different bed. When I went back to the room, I organized my stuff and made my bed (they provide a sheet and a duvet). As I was making my bed, a found a couple of black hairs on it. I have to agree with the fact that they have a very nice terrace with cute lights and grass. When I got back to my room ready to go to bed, one man was in the room snoring. I went to the toilet hoping to have a shower but it was so gross I couldn’t do it. I ended up laying down on my bed, with a stuffed pillow next to me so I could feel protected and sleeping with a mask on because the room stunk. The men I shared the room with spent the whole night coming in and out of the room as they were drinking and smoking weed on the terrace. I am sorry to say that I am very disappointed with the experience I have had on this hostel.

Overall was good. We didn't had breakfast at the hostel so I can't judge that, but if I can suggest an improvement, I would say that as the toilets in the private rooms are quite small, to put some more shelfs on the wall and in the room too in order to have some places to put things on.

I checked all of these reviews before booking and I have to say, anyone who didn't like this hostel is expecting a 5 star hotel and needs to check their expectations! From the moment I entered this hostel wowed me. My room was a single with a private bathroom and it was super clean and comfortable and downright fancy. Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was really good but the best part was the lady who makes the breakfast, she's very friendly and kind, the best human interaction I'd have each day. The dining space was big and never full, great place to hang out and charge your phone in the evening. My only thing isn't even a fault of the hostel, just if you're hoping to meet people, it's not great for making new friends but that's okay! It's super quite inside when you want to sleep, no one running around the hallways drunk. However, outside, I feel like there's constantly trucks beeping and construction? Not a flaw of the hostel though and earplugs will solve that. The location is fine, it's close to a busy street for food and some parks and the Metro to take you all over the city. Thank you so much, I loved my time in Madrid and coming back to this hostel every evening felt luxurious!

Nice and clean hostal, perfect location, very safe area, 12 minutes walking from Nuevos Ministerios, lots of shops and restaurants around. Room and bed comfy, but my shower was so tiny that was very very difficult to wash my hair.

Great location, very close to Metro station. Stayed in the female dorm room for 1 night. The front desk is very friendly and helpful during my late check-in. The room is clean and bright, sheets are provided. Good soundproof. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Madrid.

I’m from Kazakhstan. Room 301, I stayed for a long time, it is very clean, the staff are very cheerful, you feel free and comfortable when you stay here. You can go outside and sit on the terrace, very comfortable, all places are clean. thank you very much! I love you Far Home Bernabéu!😍

Stayed in double room with shared bathroom, very clean and comfy. Breakfast good, vegan option would be great!! (At least plant based milk would be nice) Service and staff very welcoming and friendly.

Room was compact but well though-out, making it still feel reasonably spacious for two people. Pleasant, comfortable and clean. Location out of the centre but close enough to metro for convenience. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. A great extra was free access to secure lockers to leave our luggage after check-out, so we didn't have to carry it around all day.

I come here every time I’m in Madrid: everyone is so nice and friendly. It’s extremely close to the subway and there are plenty of supermarkets nearby. There are also 2 kitchens and a huge common area (incredibly clean) so if you want to buy something and eat it there you can. The rooms are big and clean and have everything you can possibly need

We arrived to this hotel late at night. Sign said reception isn’t 24 hours but to call. We called and called, wait and wait. Finally other guests arrive and let us in. We wait in lobby and call the number again. Phone rings. The phone was at a desk the whole time with no one clearly there. Also it’s not very safe that anyone can sneak in those sliding doors right behind guests. We go into booking and they already charged reservation. The didn’t even bother to call us and ask if we were coming. Terrible customer service and kind of a scam if you ask me.

Very expensive price compared to the room and service we got. Highly disappointed! I was there with my husband for a night, we had very disturbing night, there was lot of noise from nearby rooms and too much light in the foom coming from outside window even after curtains. Room wasn’t ready durung my check in, I had to wait for almost 1-2 hours, and my suggestion to people reading my review is that even if you are coming bere then do not book your stay with breakfast included, it is just very useless, no good variety of meal options plus you have to go to the completely other building for the morning breakfast which doesn’t make sense at all. I paid more than 150 bucks just for a night as I booked private room with private bathroom and I had a horrible experience. The room was clean but toilet was not clean and it doesn’t make sense keeping the value of money in consideration.

The hostel is recently renovated and has a convenient location near to the metro station Estrecho. The dormitory and bathrooms are clean and pleasant. Unfortunately the one night that I stayed there the fire alarm went off periodically during the night so I didn’t get much sleep, otherwise I’m sure it would have been fine.

I had a great stay at Far Home! The room was comfortable, friendly staff, fantastic common areas, access to washer/dryer, and close to the metro. I recommend!

The location is super, the room is very good, the beds are comfortable. In the hostel was cleaness every day. The receptionists were very nice.

It's really great place to stay. Room was clean, comfortable bed. Friendly staff and location near metro. I have only one objective- quality of towels.

I think the rooms should be cleaned at least for a minimum without paying. I am refering to taking the wc garbage for example, which causes odors in the room.

Value for money place. Enjoyed my stay here. Had some issues with the WIFI but once that was sorted, the internet speed is blazing fast! Just what I need for video and photo editing :)

This place looks good in the photos, but that’s it. The kitchen facilites are clean but the oven has been broken for a week! there’s one toaster and only half of it works. On top of that you need to provide your own cutlery too! Not all of the hobs work, etc. For the price they’re charging their facilities are very disappointing.

Do not trust this guys. I made a reservation, sent the deposit and so far they were very responsive, within 24 hours I will always have a feedback. I cancelled the reservation with time, I asked them to refund the deposit and they said they will do it and this is where the nightmare starts. They do not answer to whatsapp anymore, last message where they confirmed they will refund us was on the 27 of July, today, 23rd of September, they have not replied to a single text or email. They avoid simple questions like when they will do the refund, what is the name of the person I am talking to, etc. Read thru the internet and you will find tons of reviews like mine. 3 months later, they keep telling me to resend the email or that the manager is looking at it. When I ask the for the name of the manager to call later, they said it is personal information which they cannot disclose. These guys are a joke and a SCAM!! Stay away, save your money and go somewhere else.

I only stayed one night, but the capsule hostel concept is great. Much better than bunk beds. Staff was friendly. Everything was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Good place with clean rooms. The location is pretty convenient with the metro station being a 1 min walk away. You also have supermarkets and food outlets around.

I arrived at 7am nobody was at reception so I was very lucky that another guest let me in to sleep on the sofa in the common room. They eventually turned up at 7.45 and gave mea room for 90 minutes before I had to leave again.

A tranquil, clean, comfy and well-equipped place that felt really good staying at. Close to Madrid centre by metro, close to many shops by foot. The staff was nice and accommodating. 100% would recommend. The place itself is modern with air conditioning and wifi. Things that stand out are the luggage locker room that makes it easy to pick up your belongings later on your checkout day, the common area featuring a large kitchen with everything you need to decently cook a nice breakfast, fridges and sofas, and even a piano, and a rooftop terrace!

Very basic but for the price I paid it was more than suitable. Location was OK, it looks like it's down a dodgy alley but it is perfectly fine - I walked back there at 1am (a bit tipsy) and felt safe. Staff were very pleasant and spoke good English. I accidentally overslept by a few hours and they were more than accommodating for this.

Looks good, doesn’t feel as good :( The room was a bit dirty when we arrived. The shared bathrooms, too. Every hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. Our room in particular was extremely weird, with puffy patches that looked like furniture but weren’t, and a scary cigarette burn stain on the wall. Other than that, if the place was cleaner, I think is good for a short term stay if you’re traveling light and are on a budget. The staff at the counter were always helpful and that’s the biggest plus.

I had to cancel my trip because I got Covid. Called the property and they refused to make a refundof any kind. It would have been better for them if I just showed up in the hostel and spread the virus among guests and employees. I obviosly did not, because unless like them, I am a reaponsible citizen. However I had to pay 100% of my 3 nights stay. Very dissaponting

Very nice place in the centre of Madrid. The WiFi connectivity was great. The bathroom and toilet are common, but they are clean. The good music is playing there. On the first floor there is common place with dining room and breakfasts.

Great location, a couple blocks from a metro station and a lot of shops and stores. Clean rooms and nice facilities. The best hostel I've been so far.

You get what you pay for. I stayed for 6 nights in a private room and overall the room was fine. The biggest thing I noticed was some odd smell, which I pointed out to the staff and they were happy to give me a different room but that other room also smelled off. Best guess is it’s some cleaning product they use because by the end of my stay the room hardly smelled as it hadn’t been cleaned (not saying that in a bad way).

Nice place

We went for a week to vacation during the day and work remotely in the afternoon. The place is very neat, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a private room with a private bathroom. The room was very comfortable, the bed comfortable. The bathroom is strange, since it is a glass fish tank, the shower part is plotted, but the rest is not, so, to have privacy, we put a towel on the glass door. To work, the place was very comfortable, we worked in the dining room. You can pay for a very complete breakfast, or buy food and cook there. 2 blocks from the subway. In 10 minutes you are in the center of Madrid. We would go again without a doubt.

I was at Far Home Bernabeu for 4 nights with my friends. This hostel has a great location, close to the metro and the Real Madrid stadium. The service was very nice, the breakfasts were delicious. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. I recommend this place definitely🤗👌🇪🇸!
