You can’t go wrong with the basic bites with a jug of beer that cost less than coffee. Their franchise are everywhere so no matter where you go you’ll find one of these places. It’s my go to place to chill out. In the evenings the place will be packed (at most locations)so prepare to wait for a vacant table. Enjoy your chill out time

Great place to get cheap food. I took the whole family and everyone got to try all the different tapas they wanted. Plates are $1-$2 or so, each. They serve beer and deserts as well. It is difficult to order when they are crowded. They get upset if you don't speak Spanish, or at least they did with me. I recommend. Great place for large families or groups to get a cheap meal.

I loved everything. It’s somehow a snack bar. They have whatever you want to eat along with your beer. The variety of the Montaditos (small Sandwiches) are awesome. But you should not get confused. You can see the categories if you are a real restaurant dinner.

I'd like to review the food but it hasn't turned up. Staff are phenomenally rude. Awful place. Avoid. Add: I suspect the staff are held against their will. Nothingness can account for their sullen aggression.

Budget friendly! Good food quality! This restaurant chain 100 Montaditos is well known for a 1€ offers which is happening every wednesday and sunday. Definitely something that catches your attention, especially in Madrid. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a place where to have a nice cold beer and okay food with a friends or if you are just looking for something fast and cheap. I didn't like 'tinto de verano' here, but was more than happy with Radler. Definitely worth a visit!

This restaurant has an offer on a Wednesday where all bocadillos/rolls are one euro. They have over fifty types. Good coffee too and alcohol is cheap. They have outlets in most Spanish cities and shopping centres. This outlet was very busy.

I love this place and always return when I come to Spain. Great tapas and sangria. Often there’s a line of people to be seated but it’s sooo worth it!!!

Great value as the food and drink were very cheap. My son wanted to go but we struggled all week to get a table, but on our last day in Madrid we got lucky. Got to sit in the sunshine drinking large cold beers for €2 and different snack foods to try. Tried salad, nachos, chips, chicken bits and a selection of mini rolls with fillings which is largely what the menu is made up of.

Cheap eat but would not come back. The staff are rude which I can overlook since it's busy but it took the kitchen 15 minutes for 1 plate of food that came out cold. Taste was ok.

Prices are awesome but size and quality of dishes too. Cafe is good tho and beer for 1.5 0.4l in frozen nugt is nice deal. Perfect to chill. Might be crowded and you need to wait for a table.

The service barely exists here, it’s very much self-service. You sit down, you write down what you want to order, take the order to the cashier to pay for it, and wait for your name to be called out. The montaditos are great and so are the fries, but I remember the experience being better 10 years ago when I was in Madrid the last time.

If you want Abad service and waiters with attitude, here is the place, not even one HOLA, we haven’t finish our drink and he came to ask if we want to get more food or drink, that means he is asking you: ARE YOU LEAVING. Funny part I went to pick up my food and that lady make a gesture to ask you to bring the ticket and she didn’t say anything, just pushed the food out and left, so I took all the food to my table, and then she came to the table and said This is not yours and left. How am I supposed to know if you don’t confirm the ticket with clients before they take the food? Bad bad service, not recommended AT ALL!!

Prices are relatively low but it is clearly reflected in the quality of the food. Stay away from anything with balsamic vinegar. It tastes so artificial. Good to have some beers on the terrace though
