My fiancé and I visited her friend in Madrid and she took us to the dope spot called Habanera. The food took a while to come out but it was worth it. Highly impressed of the quality of the food.

Great location and beautiful interior. However the relation between price and quality does not match. Service did not pay attention (had to ask three times for our drinks after ordering those). Empty glasses and none of the service that passed our table asked if we want to order anything else. Service also did not ask if we enjoyed the food. I also don't understand why the bread is served with a main dish that does not require any bread. An idea would be to serve it prior with some butter to enjoy it.

The food was pretty good but to be honest, they made us pay for the tapas. Like 5 euros for some bread with sausage. I mean I know I'm a tourist but still... I don't need your tapas, I didn't ask for it. And the food is already not cheap so I just think it's unfair. Also we asked for tap water and they brought us a bottle of water, of course we needed to pay for it. Why you need to take profit from tourists in this way when you're having many guests and expensive prices? Would not go there again

This restaurant has a very olden vibe to it. The atmosphere was great, maybe a bit too dark but great. The food was good not great, the hummus eggplant was disappointing but the mini burgers and the other portions were great. Pricing was a bit steep but would like to revisit.

My bf and I really enjoyed our dining experience here. The atmosphere and decoration were excellent and magical. The food was good with proper proportion for two of us. Personally, I love their Virgin Mojito. Give it a shot! The service was good with room for improvement. Our waiter was attentive and genuinely friendly. The other were alright.

It all started off well, the cocktails were delicious and so was the eggplant starter, highly recommended. Our initial waiter was nice, however their recommended dish was roasted chicken and it was very dry. Upon sharing this comment to another waitress who happened to be around she simply took the plates and shrugged. Since it didn’t seem like she heard or understood us, upon receiving the bill we mentioned the frustration again and she literally sighed and took the bill to the manager. The manager came and we politely explained the situation about the food, he removed the chicken from the bill yet no apologises or any sort of good manners in the way that you would expect from a nice restaurant like this one. We are not demanding in any way and I am happy to say when a restaurant deserves its praise, but this time we were a bit surprised by the lack of professionalism… would recommend for drinks but nothing more. It’s a shame because the venue is very beautiful

We visited Habanera in February 2022 with some friends. I couldn’t take any pictures of the food because it was VERY dark. Some comments: tortilla and poached egg was cold. Salmon was braised but seemed like boiled. A lot of space of improvement regarding food quality!

Nice and well-decorated ambience. We arrived 25 min before the reservation time & they seated us directly , Fast service, happy and helpful staff. Prices above average especially The salad ; the portion was too little for the price given 😊. Over all their shrimp tacos & sea bass were really Good ; Loved the flavor . for dessert we had creamy cheesecake

We had an overall okayish dinner slot on a Saturday on the terrace. On the positive side, the staff was very accommodating when we showed up with 9 people instead of 8 and quickly added a chair/ cutlery. However, we were dissatisfied with the service and food. The mains partially arrived together with the starters and especially the sides (with the salmon) were cold. The wine was warm but we got ice cubes after asking for it. Requests took very long to handle (but it was also a busy time), but the waiters could have been more friendly. We had to leave our table at 11pm even though there was no later reservation for it. Given the quality of the food, it seemed overpriced. The location itself is very nice though but I still wouldn’t visit again.

This place is rated top 10 most instagramble spots for a reason. You walk in and get teleported to a Cuban oasis. Feels like you just walked into an Old Havana place. The food is phenomenal. Some dishes may be a bit pricey but the flavors and presentation will not have you second guess your choices. Their Tapas are a mix of bread, meats and smaller bread items. All are very tasty and only worth a couple bucks. I ordered there tacos to start off. I didn't know they had shrimp but wow the flavor was and the tortillas were such a good choice. I also decided to order an additional entrée. The next choice was there Ropa Vieja and if your thinking of a dish to try do this one. It's a very simple dish but that is what makes it taste so good. As for drinks I got to try the Madrid al Ciejo. It has a spicy kick but mellows out with a sweet aftertaste. Now for the review. The decor and music this place offers is very unique making it a top choice to go to when in Madrid. All of this together I would give this place a 9.6 out of 10 on that 🔥 scale.

Very cool restaurant that turns into a club after hours. The food was generally very good and the vibe and decor are both great. It has the potential to be a fantastic place, but the DJ was substandard - he just pressed play on a playlist rather than actually doing any mixing and creating a good atmosphere. A real shame.

Great food, great staff. It's not expensive and the food is delicious. The waiters are very funny and welcoming, the margueritas are just perfect. The three hours spent there were amazing.

The atmosphere is very nice and food was average. But what pissed us off was the attitude. We have been asked to leave the table in an hour -which os shorter than average in a restaurant - and we have been bothered by personel and managers the whole time to leave the table, although our food arrived late. We bothered whole time without our drinks finished and get the check without we even asked for it - super rude?

Nice chic bar and restaurant at the heart of town. Amazing service, decent tasting food and slightly expensive alcohol. The Dj shreds it from 11pm to 2:30 am. Young crowd mostly students. Make sure you reserve ahead of going to Avoid disappointment. Staff are very sweet and accommodating.

Two stars for the service, quick, nice and careful, also for the decoration. Food tasty but nothing special, the portions small, the prices extremely high for what you get, VERY dark, needs immediately some lights, it's a restaurant not a disco. Leaved with a headache because all the time people where entering, standing, movint around and SO much noise, not a place that I would visit twice.

We went for drinks after dinner, the barman upstairs was amazing, very friendly and made us great drinks. The manager told us we could take a table downstairs but another lady kicked us out of table and kept arguing with the manager about giving us the table, then we got another one and another waiter complained to us that this table is only for those ordering food and tried to kick us from the table as well. Overall unpleasant experience on that day but not sure about the food

It's a really trendy place. All the food was amazing, and we also had great wine. In the end you can dance because the restaurant turns into a dance floor

Well worth a visit here, the decoration makes it a really nice environment to be in for a few hours. The service is super friendly and couldn't hav3 asked for more from them. The food was OK, it's a little on the expensive side for what you get and most dishes could do with a little more flavour/seasoning. But overall, a nice experience.

Good experience in this centric place of Madrid, next to Plaza de Colon. There are two different dining turns, we chose the first starting at 20.30, you get 2 hours to enjoy your food, then we stayed for a drink downstairs and the ambience was fun. For dinner we had tuna tartare, grilled octopus, meatloaf & false risotto, being this latter the best of 4. Cheesecake & Birthday cake for dessert. So you won't find incredible kitchen, but the menu works, all the dishes are more than fair and you get the extra in the ambience around you, that's why I rate 5 stars. A local conceived to make you have fun in a great location

This restaurant is extremely well located in Colon; very close to the metro entrance. The place is great and it has a pretty nice modern/Caribbean decoration. The food was good and the service was good. The staff was great and we payed around 55€ each (we were a group of four).

Went for brunch on a Sunday and had an underwhelming experience. Food was sub standard, nothing to write home about. Service staff took over 45 minutes to charge us. We even saw tables of people that were seated and never able to order and decided to leave. A lot of hype for overpriced food that didn’t deliver.

Me and my fiancé went there for our anniversary meal. Although the decor inside was very nice, the service and table seating completely let us down. We were sat in a corner on the top floor where our waitress didn’t attend to us. Our water took an hour to come and once we finished our starters, the plates sat there for 20 minutes before being taken away. We cancelled our mains and decided to leave as our comments to the waitresses were falling on deaf ears. Luckily the bouncer listened to us on the way out and offered us two cocktails as an apology.

Great restaurant, friendly and welcoming staff, good options to choose from (for vegetarians too), the restaurant is beautifully decorated and there are mocktail options too. I would definitely return.

Nice place. But service and food not that good for the price. Pancake of Nutella banana and strawberry came with literally one strawberry and 6 pieces of banana. Would I come back, no, but very nice decoration.

We arrived ohere around 19:30 and they informed us that they were fully booked and it’s a Monday night ! They kindly offered us a table if we could vacate it by 9pm due to how busy they were, this wasn’t a problem for us, to say the decor is magnificent is a gross understatement, service and food were amazing and we never felt rushed, will definitely be back. Toilets and restaurant were spotless and all the social distancing was adhered to. It was a pleasure to eat here.

Went there to celebrate a birthday, unfortunately we were greeted with incredibly rude service! Its a shame that a place with a good ambiance is managed by rude waiters which ruined our night ( we won’t be coming back). We’ve been a fan of grupo Larrumba and Fernando Nicolas’s, as he’s done an amazing job with his restaurants! But one thing we can stand anywhere is rude service.

Try others - Bad services, bad food It’s ok as a bar/disco, terrible as restaurant. We were a group of 6 with a reservation at 23:15. We arrived at 23:00, and they left us on a line outside with 3 degrees waiting to enter until 23:40… after we entered, we were seated in a table on the first floor where the music was so loud, that it was impossible to talk (really impossible, terrible!).. the waiters were not nice and the table was always a mess, we had to ask them (always!) to clean it… the worst of the worst was the food - as you can see by the pictures, rice with fried egg and tuna, in a dog dish… terrible, and the meat in a metal service plate… my God, it was really a bad experience as a restaurante! We stayed at 2am dancing and the disco/bar part is ok and really funny, the music was good!
