Way too expensive for lunch!! 2 tacos and fries for over $18! The Bang Bang taco had the tiniest shrimp that were swimming in sauce… the Fleeing California taco was pretty good. Masa fries were ok.. cool concept. I think it was worth trying once but I wouldn’t come back.

I really like this place! Their queso and chips are a must get! The chips are thin and crispy and the queso has just the right amount of spice. I always try different tacos and they are all pretty good! The whole idea is they smoke their meat which adds even more flavor to the tacos. I have never tried the churro dessert but everyone there had ordered it so next time I’ll have to try it. Over all a great place to grab some good tacos!

We needed somewhere to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and while this not 100% authentic Mexican food it definitely does a lot of things right. The meat which is BBQ based is so so good (minus the shrimp which is not my favorite). They pack on the flavors and the sauces and the fresh ingredients. Did I mention the delicious sauces? The queso for the nachos was the.family favorite. We also had the churro fries which were cinnamon goodness deep fried. Good tortillas, good ingredients, thoughtfully and plentifully flavored. Not much to complain about here. Maybe the sauce is a little heavy handed, but I can forgive it. We will be back.

A great one-time experience. The smoked flavor on most of their dishes is QUITE strong. The nachos are good, but interesting. Like, I didn’t want to take any of the food home to eat later. That should sum it up. The cinnamon nachos/dessert fries are quite tasty though.

Best tacos I’ve had in a LONG Time!! Our favorites were “the bird” and “the fleeing Californian” their elote corn was delicious as well! Perfect blend of spice and flavor 2 tacos filled us up!

My husband & I each had the Money Muscle Taco then we shared The Pastor. The first bite of the Money Muscle taco you could hear us both go mmm with the burst of flavor that hit our mouths. It. Was. So. Good. I think we could say it's the best taco we've eaten and we've had our fair share of tacos. The Pastor Taco you could definitely taste the smokiness of the meat. They fry their corn tortillas till crispy with some fried cheese added to the edges. A nice surprise and added to the flavor of the tacos, delicious! Hit this place up you won't be disappointed.

I only have a few words to describe this place... Nachos that I had, the barbecue ones, we're amazing. And I highly recommend them. Customer service was so remarkably friendly, that I just almost wanted to hang out here for as long as I could. Haha! I was very impressed by how clean it all was, and I'll make it a point to return here in the future.

This was a fun stop to catch up with family. The taco options are unique, but very tasty. We went with the "gringo", the "hot chick" and the shrimp taco. The churro fries were a great addition. Make sure to eat the churros while they are still hot. The experience is MUCH better that way.

Stopped in today to have lunch after seeing some reviews on the place. The bang bang (shrimp) tacos were our favorite forsure. My daughter loves her kids meal, esp the churro fries. We got a nachos to split, and it was quite a big serving. The only thing with the nachos if you don’t eat them first or fast enough, they cool off very quickly. The queso on the nachos was very tasty. The place was fairly busy and decorated fun.

This place is AMAZING! Seriously! The food is great. But the people MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! I have so many allergies and they worked with me to figure out what I could have and customized my order to fit my tastes too! It's so rare to find such great people willing to help!! EAT HERE!

I have eaten here a handful of times and feel confident in giving a 5 star review. The menu is short and simple, but very unique. You would be hard pressed to find their tacos elsewhere. The Nachos are also very good. They are piled high enough to share, but they are so good you won't want to.

These are some of the best tacos in Utah. Love the creative French fries as well, only miss is that they could load them a little bit more for the price but they are well thought out and put together. Definitely a smarter level up from classic top your own tacos and allows the taco knowledge of what goes well on a taco for a moist, yet crunchy, crispy and delicate flavor.

GREATEST TACOS EVER! I wish I could rate this higher than a 5 star! It is my top favorite taco place in Utah! Please got try it! There is several different tacos to choose from, each with their own meats and flavors. There is even a veggie taco that is tasty! I recommend it above most places!

My family couldn't believe how delicious every single Taco, Chiro fry, and Mesa fry was. The flavors were amazing… Best taco place we've ever eaten at! Even my brother said he has never been this satisfied when eating out, ever! And my sister, who couldnt taste anything since having Covid, is totally in love with it!

Food was okay. Not "amazing" as I had heard. The churro fries were tasty on the outside then squishy and bland in the middle. The nachos were good. Tons of corn. I've never had corn on nachos. Healthy nachos aka salad was good. The meat was cold. Should it be cold? It was busy when we arrived and had to ask for a table to be cleaned. No other tables were cleaned.

First visit. 5 stars. Great food. Creative and tasty options. Got a variety of tacos. Fleeing Californian was superb. Plenty of meat and nice spicy edge. Definitely will go back. Gringo was great...a little heavy on the crunchy onions, but easy to remove. Wish they offered a flour tortilla option (I love corn, but some family can't). The Bang Bang was also great. A little skimpy on the shrimp (at least the one I got) and would prefer medium size vs tiny, but not complaining on taste. The presentation of each item is appetizing, lots of flavor, and color, and no gut bomb. Looking forward to trying again. Two tacos is a satisfying meal IMO. Liked sitting outside, though it's limited seating out there and not the greatest setting. Inside sitting would've been fine but we like sunshine. Go enjoy Smoked Taco!

Not sure why I avoided this place. These are good tacos, not great, but good. Worth coming here. I really liked the Gringo with the brisket and jalapeños. The shrimp taco is okay too. I wish I would have tried the pastor taco, but was told it was “5th most popular” when I was ordering. Great service though.

By far the most delicious taco I have ever tasted. I've never actually been inside the location, but we've used their catering option several times. The price is reasonable and the quality beyond satisfactory. The manager helps you load the food, taking the hotter or more awkward to carry boxes himself. It's always a delight working with them. The tacos themselves are juicy and extremely delicious. I've only ever had their chicken tacos, but I'm sure everything on their menu is amazing. Can't say enough good about this place! So happy with my experience every time.

My friend and I wanted a casual street taco place and were nervous that The Smoked Taco might be a little pricey, but it was the only taco shop in our area so we decided to give it a shot. Normally when I grab tacos, I go for three or four tacos but two here is plenty. The tacos are larger than I expected and they are delicious! I've been to a dozen taco shops in Utah County and The Smoked Taco really blew me away with tacos that are fancier than just "meat, tortilla, cheese" without making them too expensive. I ended up eating all four of my tacos because I wanted to try them all! I really feel like you get your money's worth here and they have a solid list of creative tacos to pick from. We opted to dine in and were even impressed by the service. The cashier give some great recommendations and they came around to grab our trays and see how we enjoyed the food. The Smoked Taco will definitely be a go-to pick up for me and I'm excited to try the rest of their food!

A little bit disappointed with this place. None of the food was even warm and they got our order completely wrong. The elote didn’t taste good at all and was super cold. The fleeing California taco was pretty decent but we probably won’t be back again.

Meh. I went here to try something new and ended up leaving 3 minutes after getting my food to get tacos somewhere else. It was way too sweet, dripping wet, and overall nothing special. The chips and salsa were good, but not worth the trip. If you like sweet meat drenched in sugar ranch, this is your place.

This place is amazing! Everything was so delicious! Highly recommend. I got the tilapia (forgot the name) and the Smoking Pastor, we also shared an order of churro fries. I want to return and try every taco!

The tacos are amazing! Something new and exciting for sure. Very similar to street tacos but they add their own twist. I got the smoking pastor taco and it had an excellent creamy sauce. I would definitely go back just to get that taco again. Service was quick and friendly. My only flaw was in the churro fries. I was expecting a good crunch similar to a regular churro but was disappointed when they were soggy and didn’t have whipped creme. Mind you I did take them to go, but ate about 20 minutes later. Flavor was decent though. Definitely recommend for the tacos!!

Great taco shop. Loved the food here it’s a fresh take on the normal taco shops. The tacos are extremely flavorful and the taco shells are are make with two tortillas with cheese melted in between like a quesadilla. Fantastic all around. The kid meal was great for our son and it came with churro fries that were a hit for everyone at the table.
