There wasnā€™t a notice in our emails either. At the crack of dawn this gym was packed!! On top of that, the bathrooms are horrible and need a lot of deep cleaning done to it. Itā€™s never maintained!! How is it at 5am thereā€™s no toilet paper? when something is broken, thereā€™s never a quick reaction to it. The equipment, OLD. Once itā€™s broken, it takes months to be fixed. West valley gets the old hand me downs from West Jordan and the surrounding cities around WJ. Fix that!

This gym has its share of small issues. Iā€™ve been coming here for a year or so. My big problem is the way they deal with lost and found items. They do not document whatā€™s found or when. I had left my gym bag in the locker on accident (long story) and I came back to retrieve it. They didnā€™t have it written down in their book about what was TAKEN out of the locker when they cut my lock off so thereā€™s no way to know what was ā€œmineā€ other than my descritption. So I go get my actual gym bag and I realize some of my stuff (toiletry bag and Nike sandals) isnā€™t there. So I come back sometime later asking about my shoes which I lost at the exact same time as my gym bag. The employee doesnā€™t find my shoes but somehow has my toiletry bag. It was about to be DONATED which is understandable but if my toiletries bag was there then where are my Nike sandals? The employees definitely get their pickings form the donation pile before sending it off is my guess. Thanks Vasa for stealing my property and not taking good care of it :)

The facility here is nice, there are lots of options for equipment, the coaches and classes are good, and the staff are friendly. It can be quite busy in the afternoons, but if you're a morning person it's perfect.

Love this gym, management is great & welcoming ! However, itā€™s been slacking on cleanliness. This gym isnā€™t 24hrs, Iā€™d expect it to be cleaned overnightā€¦ nothing is ever stocked in bathrooms at 5amā€¦ also, please install a napkin holder in the bathrooms them air dryers donā€™t be cleaned thoroughly. Thanks.

I called in on 8/11 about details with canceling my membership I was told over the phone I wouldnā€™t be charged and very vague info about it by a female rep in which I then asked for a manager. The manager told me that since I started my membership on 2/26/23 that If I cancelled through the app on 8/26/23 which is the 6 month mark I would not be charged. I am writing this today on 8/26/23 and that is not true. It is showing me that I will be charged $25.00 even though today marks 6 months. I called today to get answers and was told that I would have to try to cancel the 29th a day after the payment was charged. I told the rep on the app it says you have to give a 30 dayā€™s notice and that Is what Iā€™m doing and what I was told by the manager I spoke with on 8/11. I told the rep that I need a manager again as I feel theyā€™re not being honest and trying to play games with me as I keep getting different answers. He then told me to call back on Monday to get a manager and speak with them further about this issue as there is no manager available all day long. This is ridiculous and should be an easy simple process to do on the app. I should not have to keep calling in to get this done and not be charged when I did it correctly. As a company if you are honorable about your word and what youā€™re doing, this should be a call back to me with the issue fixed and make this right. I shouldnā€™t have to play these games with you.

Itā€™s super crowded from 3pm to around 7pm so if you work a regular day shift the best time to go is 8 or 8:30 since it closes at 10pm. They also sneak a lot of fees in too. The basic is around $10 a month plus an extra $50 you pay upfront and annually that they couldnā€™t include in the monthly price for some reason. If you end up having to cancel your membership within 6 months for some unexpected reason itā€™s an additional $25 cancelation fee. So within the first 6 months on their basic membership, you could be potentially paying up to $125 (plus taxes) if you have to cancel which all adds up to $25 a month for the 5 months you used their gym. Just wanted to put all that out there. I never interacted with the employees much. Iā€™d say theyā€™re pretty chill though. Edit: I just looked back and I didnā€™t account for the $99 enrollment fee so it would potentially cost $35 a month for their basic membership for 5 months. And thanks for the reply Vasa. I just wanted to make your pricing and fees more transparent by giving everyone a more complete summed up total upfront.

It's a good gym but the music is played rather loudly. Most people use their own headphones and have to play loud music to overcome it Edit: Thank you VASA staff for turning down the volume. Shows that you care about your customers. Great service.

Even after they told me to my face that my membership was frozen, they kept trying to bill an inactive card & ended up sticking me with a huge bill of trainings I never got to attend. Refused to honor the unused sessions & demanded I pay them $800 for a dozen sessions I never attended. Didnā€™t feel like fighting it in collections so I just paid & left the gym. It was their own mistake but they donā€™t care.

I've been working out at Centennial Vasa, every sence they opened. I was displeased by the maintenance of the equipmentit, it was always broken, until they hired James Coyne, as a Maintenace man. He is always on top of the everything, making sure the machines are in working order. Thank you very much. Jimmy, for taking care of OUR Gym. I am sure all of the members appercite it. Bob

The gym is good. I'm just here to complain about the music. This vasa is always playing terrible emo/pop punk. other than that, it's a chill gym. Humble vibes, no pretention. Just enough equipment. But seriously every time I go the same exact emo playlist is blasting. I usually go during the day or in the morning and it's always the same. I asked about it at the desk and was told it's some vasa company playlist and not even the manager has the power to change the music... Whoever is responsible for this decision, please change the music, at least give us some variety. Not everyone wants to feel like they're in a 2007 high schooler's bedroom when they're at the gym.

Really nice facility, clean, usually a lot of people but you can find room to do your thing. The instructors are great and I donā€™t feel judged.

Lately this has been my go to Vasa since it's close to my work, and although it's one of the smaller ones I've been to, it's well maintained and clean. My major complaint is they have music blasting so loud I can hear it over what I'm listening to on my headphones. And it's even worse in the locker rooms. I dont mind some background music, but if I have to turn mine up to a deafening level to drown yours out, we'll that's excessive.

I love the environment and atmosphere it has. I love the amount of equipment available but the only down side is that it's so packed with people on the time frames I'm able to go so it makes it feel like there's nothing available when you have specific workout planned out.

Staff is great, the facility is greatā€¦the members need to rack their weights though. The Olympic folks tend to keep their area organized; the regular floor has dumbbells and plates all over the place.

This place was the most discussing gym Iā€™ve ever been to. No soap in the bathrooms, showers, or showers to rinse in after the sauna before getting into the hot tub. Weights a mess, machines in shawty condition. Iā€™d pick another place. I went for 3 days and they charged me over $50 for the unpleasant experience.

The gym is clean and spacious. There is plenty of equipment to where I rarely need to wait to use something. The extra amenities are also really nice including the spa and pool.

šŸ«¤ These centers, no matter which one you go to, all are falling apart. Showers are out of soap or missing the dispensers all together, any one of the amenities are out at any given time, locker room is dirty and run down, so many machines are out of order, and it just seems that they don't even care a...

šŸ‘šŸ‘ Great facilities, including the showers. Great people, too! BEWARE: please make certain that you park within the section directly in front of the gym. That parking area was completely filled up last night, and I parked 2 parking spots to the right in the next section (in front of a dollar store?) a...
