We loved our visit. You can take a walk through all of the many exhibits or ask for a tour. Our guide was so great. He has lots of fun facts and silly jokes for every room. Very entertaining and well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back

Wayyy better than their website makes it seem. If you like random things from history, authentic antiques, archeology items, culture, etc this place is well worth the time and you can't beat the entry fee. Plan a good 2 hours to get the full experience, but if you need to make it shorter you can. Very kid-friendly, they have a whole treasure hunt and map thing to do with explorer backpacks. Both the kids and adults loved it. Mostly history of Utah, but there are a number of historical things from outside of Utah. Very friendly staff, plenty of accessible parking,

We love this museum. It is a little gold nugget that we wished we would have visited sooner. The museum has more than we would have imagined for local and area history, a small live animals room, and a very large rocks, minerals, and mining exhibit. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making your visit comfortable and informative. We learned a lot about the local area that we didn't know before.

Good collection fossils, great history of Lehi Utah. Lots of taxidermy animals, and memorials for all the veterans from Lehi

Hatchings museum is a really cool place. It's in a pretty old building, But it looks like they plan to upgrade the whole thing in 2026! I was pretty impressed with the collection of rocks that they had, and they've got a nice western exhibit and a dinosaur exhibit as well. We used our get out pass and so the whole thing was free for us, so I'm not sure on how the place is for the money you pay. We brought are three-year-old and he was really fascinated by everything in there! Great place to take the family!

This was a really good natural history museum I got to check out. It basically showcases the collections and artifacts that include rocks, minerals, crafts and fossils as well as the history behind all of the collections and artifacts. All in all this was a really great natural history museum I got to check out.

We didn't even know this place was here until this weekend but we are very glad we decided to stop. There was so much to do and so many interesting things to see. More than 16 rooms, each with a different theme. Each room had kid-friendly, hands-on exhibits. The reptile room had so many cool reptiles. There was a handler there when we went who was happy to give us more than an hour of personalized, one-on-one time. He got out a few critters so we could see them and touch them. And he was so knowledgeable and kept giving us really interesting facts. So great!!!

We happened upon this museum accidentally while looking for the Thanksgiving Point one. They had LDS missionaries working there, and they were all very nice. The credit card reader was offline, which was stressful, but the staff were so kind and accommodating, and they made sure we had fun. I would definitely recommend giving this museum a visit!

Cute museum that’s actually bigger than I thought it would be. There’s war stuff, dinosaur stuff, and a bunch of other stuff related to different eras of Utah. Super cool.

VERY impressive collection of rocks! I doubt you can find more entertainment for $5 in all north Utah County (including free samples at Costco). IMPORTANT - when you go, you HAVE to ask for a tour from Elder Will. He's a wealth of knowledge with natural history and Native American artifacts. He was able to add personal stories such as the painting from his uncle. It up-leveled the experience to something more in the $15-$17/pp area. They also have arrowhead making classes the first Saturday of the month from 11:00 - 2:00 that Elder Will teaches. I counted more than 16 rooms! All with a different theme! One of them even had live animals we were able to pet. If you've ever been confused by the "Natural History Museum" signs on I-15, this is the place they're referring to! I was baffled for years before finding this gem. Next time you think about a movie, high speed Go Karts, or any other overrated activity in the area, put the Hutchins Museum on your list!

Such a great museum, and while it's not huge, they pack so many things in it, that it's a must see if you're in the area. A lot of historic and natural items to see. They also have a huge collection of minerals, which is just amazing.

So cute! Very dense, rich collection. You could take anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on your group's interests. Perfect Pre-K amount of dinosaur fossils, loved that there were so many hands-on exhibits. Loved getting to see the rare June Sucker aquarium exhibit. ASTC passport program affiliated so that gave us extra budget to indulge in the gift shop. Gift shop was reasonably priced and saved me hours trying to hunt an ammonite fossil in the desert for my fossil-crazed kid. I could fit an umbrella stroller in almost all parts of the museum but would recommend against a jogger stroller.

Small, cute museum hidden off Center St in Lehi. It's got more than you'd expect for $5 but at the same time it's a small museum. It's fun for the kids to go in the jails, look at the reptiles, and play in the interactive zones. Perfect price for the amount of entertainment.

My kids loved their visit to this fun local museum. So many cool vintage items to look at and hands-on experiences to enjoy. Rocks, minerals, and fossils, too Next time I want to see one of their live animal shows.

I took my three kids to the museum and we had a great time! The docent knew so many facts and stories and really helped us make the most of our time there. I was pleased with how kid friendly it was (toddlers might have a harder time, but our 5 year-old did great). There are scavenger hunts and magnifying glasses to keep little hands busy and well marked hands on zones. There is so much there- we easily spent two hours exploring! The price is very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back!

Worth it! Our family enjoyed this visit. It was highly educational and engaging. There are plenty of hands-on exhibits for curious hands and many things to learn and read about. It was enjoyed by all our kids from 16 to 8 and the adults.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of displays at the Hutchings Museum. Especially the Rock exhibit. Full disclosure, I am a rockhound. Best $4 I have ever spent!

Great museum! They had a huge mineral collection, Native American artifacts, a taxidermy collection, western artifacts, and a veterans section. The staff was super friendly and showed us their live animal collection individually. My only complaint would be that in some areas of the mineral portion of the museum, the lighting was lacking, so it was difficult to see the details of some of the minerals.

High quality little bit of everything museum, and affordable. Glad to hear about their expansion. I learned a lot, this isn't a repeat of every natural history museum in the area either! Everytime I've gone people are so nice and it's not crowded. I remember when my son was a toddler they gave him a few presents. When my son got older he couldn't remember the place and thought it would be boring but changed his mind after seeing a high quality virtual reality tour--the best I've seen--online. I'm happy to hear that they've contracted with service missionaries to help with environmental work and service projects and I support that (and hope they've made it neutral to all beliefs--unfortunately it doesn't look that way which is controversial for a city-owned museum). It is a little awkward assigning them be available to answer questions when there's evolution exhibits and american history exhibits that force them to take a mainstream approach in spite of their beliefs. I'm just saying they shouldn't be put in positions like that simply to help the museum keep costs low; let's be a little more sensitive. Other than that, and a place to eat that's not just on the grounds would be nice.
