Great diner. No frills, great food, great service. It's not trying to be anything but a great diner and it does a great job at it. Haven't had everything on the menu, but I have tried more than half. Again, this isn't a destination restaurant. It is a local favorite because they serve good diner type food with good service for a fair price. Count me a fan.

I had the pork breakfast and added a Belgium waffle. My friend had the country fried steak. Everything was wonderful, and the service was A+. They were packed, and we were still served promptly. I'll be back for sure.

Best breakfast in town. Our server, Georgia was fantastic. She was the only server the morning we were there and the place was packed. She was kind, caring, and even though she was super busy she took care of everybody and she was still cheerful. We had our drinks in a timely manner and once we ordered our food arrived less than 10 minutes later. Great service, wonderful food!

The Olympian appears to be a converted old Astro Burger, or the like. Upon walking in, it's very reminiscent of a Denny's restaurant. The food is standard American/ Greek American fare, and it's average. Nothing bad, but also, nothing very special about the Olympian. Also, be advised, the food is pretty greasy. The restaurant itself appears clean, but (at least while we were there) grossly over crowded. And oddly enough, although wait staff were teeming, the service was EXTREMELY slow. Once we, finally, placed our order, it was about 30 min before our breakfast was served. On top of that, our server didn't come back to check on us until we were well over half way through our meal, so it wasn't until then that I was able to ask her for the orange juice she'd forgotten. The orange juice was, unfortunately, not worth the wait. I'm pretty sure it was concentrate, from a can, that they added far too much extra tap water to, in order to stretch it... and the tap water, here, is AWFUL! I strongly advise against drinking it. Their city water is so bad that they really owe it to their clientele to install a water filtration system at the Olympian. Under certain circumstances, $100 for breakfast for 4 isn't horrible, but it is decidedly far too much for this place. I guess I can't complain too much about the Olympian, but conversely, I don't have any high praise for them either. Probably won't be back... unless I'm really hungry... and someone else is buying. 😁

Food was good, seating was quick and service was top notch. Atmosphere was really good. While most reaturants tend to be plain chow halls with no decorations, this restaurant had personality. The service was excellent, stopping by just enough to make sure we're good and topping off our coffee. The breakfast was most excellent, this is a must visit. Beware, they don't take amex

Iconic Greek restaurant in sugar house. Made a small mistake when ordering and got the Hercules breakfast, and to my surprise this things feeds like at least 3 people. It was a fun mistake. Great service good food at reasonable prices, great place for breakfast.

Georgia was fantastic! Friendly and patient, we had 4 adults and 5 kids, and messes were made. Food was great and not too crowded for a Sunday brunch compared to the other spots in SLC. Highly recommend!

So I think there's some other things with similar names. This restaurant is a full service sit down. They serve breakfast and lunch. I went in and had breakfast. Now I can't remember the last time I enjoyed my breakfast like that it was so good. Their time frame isn't too lengthy in the day, but I gotta say this place is worth checking out.

The food is quite mediocre, just a wrung under what you’d expect from an IHOP. This is a staple in the area, but the menu is outdated, tables are typically sticky, the decor is something out of grandmas house and the frozen food tastes like freezer burn.

My son took a few family members out to celebrate my birthday. The food, the energy and ambiance of the restaurant was all wonderful! There were 4 of us (3 adults, 1 child) and everyone was happy with their food. The service was great and two of us aren't meat eaters and we still found delicious choices. After all these years and all the competition, the Olympian still stands out as exceptional! Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

AMAZING! The portions are great, the service is awesome, the prices are impeccable and the hash browns are out of this world! It was a perfect portion, they were buttery, and you can add salt n pepper if you want a bit more of a hit. We went in for breakfast, just the basics and they were incredible. Pancakes were large, french toast was delicious, bacon was tasty- none of that thin crispy stuff it was thick and made just right! Our server Maggie was funny and helpful. I can't wait to go again for lunch and try more!

This place is exactly what you'd expect out of a family-owned Greek diner: warm, casual, inviting. We love coming here for weekend breakfast. We always split a cup of chicken, lemon, and rice soup as an appetizer--rich, creamy, salty--before a savory second course (the hash bowls and beefteki are our favorites). Servings are really big; be prepared to take a box home.

The marinated pork was really delicious, especially with the tzatziki, and the pancakes were lightly vanilla sweet. Hash browns weren't anything special.

I've been coming here for years with the family. They're always so nice, the food is good, and the coffee is hot.

We come here for breakfast and are never disappointed! The food is always on point, with great portion sizes, the ingredients are fresh & they care about what the leaves the kitchen. The service is amazing, they’ve always treated us (and everyone around us) with such care & respect. Great people, will always highly recommend as one of the top places to go in Salt Lake

Seriously the best restaurant! French Toast is the absolute best. The gyuro omelet was amazing and you leave feeling like part of a family!

Oh my heavens! How have I lived in Salt Lake for so long and not known about this gem! The have THE BEST customer service! And most importantly, my favorite food done to perfect, PANCAKES! My friend had their spinach omelette and she loved it! We ordered our selections, and it wasn't more than 5 minutes later it was like an angel descended upon us and delivered our food! Coffee cups always filled. Allowed us to hang out after our meal to talk for a while still offering coffee and water. This is my new place! Can't wait to take my husband back for a burger! I hear they're wonderful! I'll be having pancakes, of course! Thank you so much to all the staff members! You can tell they really love their jobs! ❤️

Amazing food and service. This is the diner we've been looking for, way better at classic diner fare than any other we've found in SLC.

An excellent family oriented Greek Restaurant with a clean, inviting decor where traditional Greek fare is served by warm, friendly people. The quality of the food is top notch. The flavor as well as the presentation are quite good. The recipes have been handed down from generation to generation. Do go and try this lovely establishment. It may not by eye catching from the outside but your insides will thank you.

With dishes like beefteki and the breakfast platter; there's no reason to eat lunch anymore. I think what makes them stand out and so delicious is their high quality food ingredients.

Very nice, friendly server. Decent food. Could have been hotter but tasted good. Reasonable prices. Today, excellent food. Both my friend and I had the Greek omelette. Wonderful.

Me and my best friend went here for a little lunch with my kiddo and the staff was so great, not only to us but to my kid to who was definitely super tired and was kinda being a brat.. Our food was hot and they got it to us super quickly! Their lemonade is so good BTW

This place is the tops in my eyes, food is great. Kind an very courteous service, your coffee cup is never empty! I've frequented this establishment with my family many times, an most recently, family from Arizona. They too we're impressed with this place. There are times you might have to wait a minute, however, well worth the wait...👍🤚👌
