What can I say about WinCo? It is a wonderful store!!! My wife and I have been shopping at various WinCo stores for over a decade now and our love for it only grows deeper the more we shop here. I personally could spend hours in their bulk food section alone getting all sorts or raw grains or sweets. Their prices are always among the most affordable and the quality of food is great. And to top all of that off it has the largest varieties of food of any other store, even ones that are twice its size. And finally, the way they label their food as gluten free helps my wife since has celiac disease as of two years ago. They also carry a large amount of gluten free items that are hard to come by at most other stores.

I love WinCo mostly. For the most part great shopping experience I've had a couple of problems checking out when the self checkouts not open late at night but that's only because they have one register open late at night and sometimes a lot of people come in other than that positive experiences for myself. Real awesome employees very helpful.

I enjoy going late at night - less crowds. but they all seem to be friendly and will help if you need it. THANK YOU also for being open all night. I appreciate it more than you know. Was there last night - still great employees - and always clean and orderly. Plus they sell dry ice if anyone wants to know.

Teenage daughter was profiled there. She had never shopped there before and had purchased some bulk candy. Not enough cashiers to assist and she entered the wrong code and ended up paying actually more for what she was buying. Yes, that’s right, paid the store more money than needed!!! In house security people charged her with label fraud and she has to pay $150. To top it off these in house security guards pulled her by her hair to their office. Unacceptable behavior!!! hire more cashiers to assist customers instead of lame security!! I’m telling everyone I know and never going there again.

We come here often, but they never have enough cashiers, making customers wait 15-20 minutes just to check out. Way to go management.

I understand when business is slow, and there are only one or two cashiers. But when it starts to get busy, you would think the manager or whoever is in charge sees that there's a line of six or more people they would put another cashier on. I understand when it's time for a cashier to go on break, but for her to stay an extra 10 minutes to get the customers through the line would be more important than taking a break. So anyway I enjoy shopping at WinCo, but let's get with it at the cashier stand.

We enjoy this Winco! They have a good selection as well as great prices. It’s kind of hard to find workers to ask where things are but it’s still worth it to come here honestly. Big store, lots of parking but just remember that you have to pay cash or debt!! Highly recommend to everyone!!

Great place to buy groceries, although they do need some improvement. Many of their items are higher priced than Walmart and Smiths but they advertise otherwise. I've also had some quality control issues with their in house products (cheese, pickles, produce, bulk items). I'm giving 4 stars because the staff are always so nice and go our of their way to make a pleasant experience for the customers. Be aware that some of their sale items may not ring up as advertised, here is a photo of an example. Advertised price says $2.48 but the sticker on the item says $2.98, and rings up the latter. Staff isn't willing to go change or check tags and sometimes put up a fight to adjust the price.

I really like WinCo with one exception... I do not understand why their registers don't recognize the barcodes on their produce. Some produce scans just fine, others don't recognize the code (but take the code just fine if manually entered.) Not that I'm lazy, but come on... one way or the other.

We always stop here before campouts. Lots of great options at good prices. I especially enjoy their bulk section, we buy a few bags of several nuts, fruits, candies, etc, and then at camp we mix whatever we like into our own personal trail mixes.

This place is getting kinda crazy. It was such a great store but the lines have been getting crazy. 1 lane open. 10 to 12 people in line. Great place if you have time to wait.

We go to WinCo for the great prices, good selection, customer friendly employees & the awesome store manager. When we go to WinCo it is always clean, well maintained, shelves are stocked & always a great selection. WinCo has the best prices in town always. With WinCo who needs Walmart aka Chinamart or Smiths! WinCo is where it is at, so why would you go anywhere else? Baby Dean gives WinCo the Five 🐾 Award of Excellence!

To be honest, I didn't believe the hype. There was no way that I would believe that the food would be significantly less expensive than at a local grocery store. I never could have imagined how much money I could save on my weekly food bill by going to WinCo. Now that I've gone, I'm not sure I'll ever go back to the local neighborhood grocery store because I literally save hundreds of dollars per month. I did it very extensive price comparison between the cost of items at WinCo and at the local grocery store and many of the items are a full dollar less at WinCo.

Super clean bathrooms! nice clean store aisles are wide and easily accessible for shopping carts! lighting is not overbearing and prices are comparable to stores around.

Great store to do your weekly grocery shopping. Great produce with plenty of options for your other grocery needs. Friendly, knowledgeable employees and plenty of parking. There are a bevy of other stores, kiosks and other businesses in close proximity.

The BEST produce department ever... You can’t beat the selection or the price. I also want to give a shout out to Lisa in produce. She is knowledgeable, energetic and kind. I wish that you had 10 more just like her throughout the store!!! I LOVE WinCo. I refuse to shop anywhere else! Thank you again.

I shop here often. Always have good quality peppers, mangoes, avocados, taro, jimica, plantains, cilantro in addition to the usual produce. Both prices and quality are usually better than Kroger. Meat prices seem to be about on a par with Sam's Club in many instances. Food selection is wide and they have bulk bins of everything from beans to chocolate cashews. All coffee beans are same price and there are grinders if your coffee maker doesn't do that. Store is employee owned and sparsely staffed but I have always found employees friendly and willing to help. Store is clean and well maintained. Highly Recommended.

Great grocery store conveniently located in Layton Utah. Very clean and it has a large parking lot . Their staff are friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of pretty much everything you might need on a grocery run. Prices seemed pretty competitive as well. Definitely recommend this grocery store. I would definitely give them a five star review if they took credit cards. It’s a small inconvenience when you don’t bring any cash into the store.

Great place to shop. Found everything I needed. Wide range of items and prices are great. Didn't have to wait long to check out when I went

The total sum of my experience is that the manager Kori could care less about the money I spend at WinCo during critical times of COVID and grocery price hikes. When I purchased the wrong item (sandwich meat $9.00) she would not allow me to exchange it nor refund my money She said that she could only throw the meat in the trash. I understand not being able to return perishable goods but by LAW this information should be posted on perishable products prior to purchase. Shame on you WinCo for employing people like Kori with such a deplorable behavior. She must think that we are living in the 50’s when meat was cheap!

The bulk foods section is so good. You can just get 2T of a spice you want to try! No more commitment! And really great prices on grains and flours and nuts.

I love the prices and the bulk foods section. I especially like the spices, because you’re only paying for the spices, not the container. I do wish they could do mobile pay with a debit card. I forgot my debit card once and had it on my phone, but they didn’t offer That option.

I usually go later at night so there is the one checkout lane open. The cashier is great and she is always so friendly. The reason I gave this place 3 stars is simply due to the fact that it's almost impossible to get your cart down any of the aisles. I understand inventory needs to be stocked. If at all possible....putting the inventory on one side of the aisle vs. down the center would allow the shopping cart enough room?
