I love coming here, but now I'm hesitant to take my kids here. The kids section was shocking. For pride month they have overwhelming book covers that I do not want shoved in my kids face.

Barnes & Noble is Fabulous!! I enjoyed going to where all the toys are children and it's nice because they are in sections for kids age groups. They also have a fun kid book area where all the childrens books are with So many options! Great Cafe too! The people working here helped me a lot too which is a Bonus!!!

I adore Barnes and Nobles! This is my go to place to study, sit in an adorable cafe, find high-quality books with pretty covers, buy a poetry book from a poet I’ve never heard of, look at journals, and much more! They have a kids section for the little ones to play in, along with a large section of toys for sale and kids books. Cookbooks galore, there’s a ginormous section for health and food. Everything’s very organized, and I could find everything I wanted. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly, and always are willing to help me find things, give detailed book suggestions, and just have a genuine conversation. The environment is very peaceful and calm. No loud music so that people can actually read. It’s a huge store, so the moderate crowd typically doesn’t bother me. Although if you’re looking for something very quiet like a library, this isn’t the place to go. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Delicious food. If I was rating my experience on a 1 to 10 scale (10 being the best score) I would rate it a 2, the cashier was rude and didn't seem interested in helping the customers , as we were eating they decided to vacuum, move chairs and clean floors, couldn't hear anyone at our table. It was not a pleasant experience.

We went here for a book signing and it was crazy busy the girls at the Star bucks were really trying their hardest and they did a good job. I think it was the manager of the store but I could be wrong was being really loud and rude to everyone there when they were just asking questions about where they were suppose to go, but if the store event was more organized maybe everyone wouldn't have been so confused and it wouldn't be so chaotic

Ordered a set of books online and they arrived pretty damaged. I came to a physical store to exchange them. I found the exact same set and waited in a long line to make the exchange. The cashier refused to let me exchange them unless I paid $25 (which is basically how much I paid for the books). Guess I’ll be using Amazon from now on because it’s cheaper, shipping is faster and free, and the customer service is better. Very disappointing experience. B&N needs to take care of their customers better, especially when they make the mistake of packaging things poorly. Side note, the parking lot is a nightmare at this location.

The employees don't handle stress well. Which is fine, but basic human decency in the face of questions instead of direct impatient rudeness would be nice. Even a "sorry we don't have that, and I'm busy I can check another time" would be better than no we don't no we can't order it just no" which is basically what I got. Whoever the store manager is, can you give your employees a retreat or something?? You can smell the burn out and it literally ruined my experience. Almost all staff were either clueless or rude.

Fun to look around and see what books and board games are for sale

With so much online retailing available I was not sure if B&N was even open any more. Well it is and it was the perfect place to spend an hour in between appointments. And it was very active and full of people doing the bookstore sorts of things: standing browsing for a new read, sitting in a nook on a comfy chair checking out a new read, drinking a favorite beverage from the cafe in the corner. I did most of those things myself adding leafing through a couple of magazines. B&N is alive and well providing the expected bookstore activities.

Always a pleasantly to go shopping for a good book or magazine. This place has a wide assortment of titles in all subject matter. If they don't carry the book you are looking for, they can order it in. Starbucks is also available in case you need a refreshment or snack while you sit and read or browse the mountain of magazines. I highly recommend starting here for your chosen reading material. Happy trails...

One of my favorite stores to go-to with no purpose in mind. I can wonder for hours till I find something new. Though if I'm in a hurry and know what I'm looking for there are plenty of helpful employees that always know where to find it. Isaac is especially helpful and friendly

If you're looking for a place that sells books as well as pretty much anything that could possibly be related to books as well as music and other such sundries, Barnes & Noble is the place for you. If you are looking for all of this in a store that also houses a coffee shop with somewhat limited seating, once again, this is the place for you. Finally, if you are interested in a place with all of this, that is also perhaps trying to do or be too much for everybody and everything, you have definitely found the right place.

As always- a well organized book store for every kind of reader. The Starbucks cafe inside upgrades the vibes of this bookstore to *immaculate*. The mixing smells of new books and coffee compliment each other very well, in my opinion.

This Barnes and Noble is great. I am usually able to find what I need easily and anytime I can't, the staff are there to help and are very friendly. This location has a great selection to choose from and it's nice just to browse and see if anything catches your eyes. I have definitely found more than a few books that way. This Barnes and Noble has a cafe inside which I've never had any complaints about. It's a great place to have a conversation with friends before or after you've browsed (and probably bought)

the store itself is well stocked and organized. but the employees are kind of clueless and unhelpful. the last couple of times ive been, they could not for the life of them figure out how to help me find a specific book I was looking for. I ended up finding it myself after digging for like two hours. another time I asked them if they'd be willing to price match an item for me, and they were like, "no? we don't do that here?" So I went somewhere else and got it for the cheaper price. on another instance I waited ALONE in line for literally ten minutes while two employees were just chatting and having a conversation with each other. They kept looking over at me but ignored me. overall just annoying experiences over and over and I'll be shopping from local bookstores only now.

We went to an after Christmas sale and it was so crowded. Even so, there were many great items still in stock as we looked around. The line to the registers was so long that I decided not to wait to buy anything but it would have been worth the wait if circumstances had been different.

We took our kids here to get some new books to read and I just love how big of a selection of children's books they had on top of the huge selection of teen and adult books. There's definitely something for everyone's tastes. My kids found ones they really liked, and we got a few pop up books for our toddler. There's also a small cafe inside so you could order coffee and snacks and sit at a table while you read. It's a nice quiet atmosphere and just a really cool bookstore to visit.

Shop local this Christmas! Barnes & Noble has it all plus wonderful customer service. I’m a member and so I receive 10% off my purchase. I’d gone over to buy books for my United Way families and one of the clerks; Caiti, helped me with loads of books! I left feeling so grateful for all her help.

Barnes and Noble is one of the greatest stores ever. They have a huge selection of books, you can get almost any book there. They also have a huge selection of movies and music. Everything has fair prices and it is the best place to go if you want to buy a book.

5 star employees. the woman at the front who helped me check out and the two others who helped me find books all seemed to genuinely love working there. they all loved books, had several suggestions when I asked, and were willing to help in every way. makes stomaching the fact that I could find everything here for $10 cheaper on amazon much more palatable, lol. love it!

Helpful always when I asked for help. Cashier could have been a little more customer oriented but it was overall a good experience.

Great bookstore when so many are going out of business. Staff are knowledgable and enthusiastic. A great selection of all kinds of books.

the employees are always so so so nice, and it’s usually pretty well stocked, but they dont price match their online prices, which is kinda dumb because you would save like 10 dollars buying 2 books

One Of My Favorite Barnes a Noble Locations ! Love The Place, So Friendly and A Good Go To Stop! The Manga Section Is Very Well Organized and The Staff Do a Great Job With Help. Will Come Here Again:)

  • 5/5 Paul W. 4 years ago on Google
The staff here are superb. They bent over backwards helping find a specific book and to accommodate people during an author signing. The selection cannot be beat by any other brick & mortar. I recommend this place to all.

  • 3/5 Konnor T. 1 year ago on Google
Good staff for the most part. The selection of manga and light novels is just very limited, and often times they only have the latest volumes or a random volume in the middle of the series.

I do not have a book store near me, so when I come to provo I always make a stop at Barnes and noble. I could spend all day here. They have a great selection of stem games as well. And with out fail my kids are going home with a new book. I would spend 50k here if I could.

Went here to get some birthday presents for my wife. I bought a series, and the cashier noticed one of the books didn’t match the others (since they were in a group) and stopped the sale and went to grab the correct cover. It would’ve probably been years till I recognized my mistake! Good job!

The good: it’s a bookstore with a cafe, it always smells great. Books are fun to look at and see what I like so I can get it on Amazon for cheaper. Service is good. One time I bought a book that I didn’t notice was damaged and the cashier noticed and kindly informed me, asked if I’d like a different copy, and when I said no it was fine he gave me a discount. The bad: the book selection, at least for what I’m primarily interested in in history / philosophy / religion is extremely lacking and very basic. Understandable, sure, but disappointing. The ugly: overheard a manager loudly speaking about how the cashier needs to sell more B&N memberships and how everyone on the floor needs to help out. Keep that for a training meeting, not for potential paying customers to overhear. Honestly without the manager being annoying about sales on the floor it would’ve been a 4 or 5.

I love the smell of a bookstore, and when you add a café smell on top, it makes it into my happy place. Huge selection of books, helpful staff, and a fun friendly atmosphere. They are doing a blind date with a book promotion that is super fun (see pic). I love visiting this location, but I do tend to overspend.
