Ancient Vishnu temple. One among the 108 Divya Desams. God name is Kalamegha Perumal and the goddess's name is Mohanavalli Thayar. Perumal is in standing posture. Chakarathazwar is seen with sixteen hands with different types of weapons. Thayar will not come outside the shrine. In uttaram day only, both swamy and thayar will come together for three hours. No theertham and sadari are offered in thayar sannathi. Bus service available from Mattu thavani. Otthakadai Narasimhar is a nearby temple.

This temple is one of the 108 divya deshams of Lord Vishnu. A small but beautiful temple with separate sannidhis for the Perumal, Thaayaar, Chakrathalwar, Ranganathar and Hanuman. Definitely worth a visit.

Another amazing Temple for Lord Mahavishnu or Kalamegha Perumal! An unique thing about this is the SUDHARSHAN Chakra or Shri Chakra, which is very intricately made. Lord Narasimha is on the reverse side. For those who have Lord Karupannasamy as their Kula-Deivam or Family Deity, you can find his Sannidhi even before entering the Temple.

ThiruMohoor Sri Kalamegaperumal Temple is located 12 kilometers north of Madurai. This Temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams of Lord Vishnu . This is the place where Mohini incarnated to give amrita to the gods. This is the place where Nammazhwar and Thirumangai yazhwar enjoyed performing Mangalasasana. The deities are Shri Kalamegaperumal and Mohanavalli Thaayar. Mohanavalli, the mother of this thalat, does not roam the streets even during festivals. Idol forms of Rathi, Manmad, Villandya Rama, Sita and Lakshmana are located around the sanctum. People whose marriage is hindered due to lack of beauty, pray Rathi and Manmad by applying turmeric powder on these idols. The grand temple facing east is seen with a five-tiered Rajagopuram. There is an ancient shrine of Chakrathalwar. He is shown 16 hands with weapons. is said that 48 deities and 154 mantras are enshrined in the idol Thirumeni of Srichakarathalwar here. It is said that on 11 consecutive Saturdays, if you come to Tirumogur Shrine and pray to Srichakrathalvar, the ban on marriage will be removed; The thought will be fulfilled. The number of devotees worshiping this Wheel is increasing as it removes all the dangers like diseases, evil, witchcraft, witchcraft and enemy harassment.

One of the Divyadesam in and around the madurai city apart from Kallazhagar temple and its also very near to Kallazhagar temple and Lord Sri Lakshmi Narashima Swamy temple in Othakadai. Lord Sri Kalamegha perumal was standing tall with Sri Sridevi and Sri Boodevi nachiyar. Temple architecture was very awesome and in few places its looks like a fort.

Sri Kalamegaperumal temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu who is worshipped as Kalamega Perumal and Goddess Lakshmi as Mohanavalli. Wonderful architecture, peaceful atmosphere. You will find other temples within the vicinity as well. A beautiful lotus pond just outside the border walls. Not very far from Madurai main city.

Very important holy place located near to melur in Madurai. It is one of 108 divyadesam. It is believed that Lord chakarathalvar is very powerful here. Devotees offer pray here to reserve their seat in other world Vaikundam. It is few kilometers away from Otthakadai area. Only problem is accessible road near temple. It is very narrow and it is not one way.

This Vishnu temple is at Thirumogur village near Othakadai. It is a very old temple. Due to pandemic the temple is closed for the time being. There is a tank by the side of the temple. The maintenance of this area is very poor. If it is well-maintained, devotees visiting the temple can spend some time in the premises.

It is one of the famous perumal temples in Madurai. Had an opportunity today to visit this temple and get kalamega perumal's blessings. Such a divine feeling it was. The main deity is Kalamega perumal and Chakkarathaalvaar. Evening timings are from 4 PM to 8 PM. It has a very big pond (Thamarai kulam) close to the temple. You get to pray Aandaal and Navaneedha krishna inside this temple. During this Tamil ( Puratasi ) month, this temple is very crowded. Plan accordingly.

This temple is very close to my heart. One of the oldest perumal temple in madurai. The main deity is kalamega perumal. Old traditional temple with good space and inside after visiting main deity to our left we have chakkarathaalvar sannidhi. Visiting on Saturday is very special and doing archana for charathalvar will reduce the devil's eye effect and keep visiting him for 7 week or 14/24 weeks will resolve many long pending life time wishes or doshaa

Lord Vishnu is the main deity. One of the 108 holy abodes of lord Vishnu. It's believed that a drop of amrutha feel into this temple pond. The main attraction however is lord sudarshana, who has 16 weapons and letters carved in the chakra, behind the same carving you can find yoga narasimha Swamy too. You can visit this temple while returning from palamudircholai subramanya swamy temple. There's another narasimha Swamy temple also nearby, one of the 108 holy abodes.
