Food wasn't good at all. Service OK-ish. Ordered Spanish tortilla and got a little plate with some potatoes, peppers and and egg on top (photo below) .. Coming hot from the oven... What??? After telling them twice, the replies were pretty much "I don't know what is tortilla or I did not cook it myself". And 6 euros for that. The Patatas bravas were bravely boiled instead of fried 🤦‍♀️ basics cannot be done.. I sat there bec of the location.. Shame I did not check Google reviews earlier! Just don't order in here... I am Spanish by the way.

I do not normally write a lot of negative feedbacks, but we came to this restaurant in order to enjoy a good restaurant located in the middle of Utrecht City Centre, but this place made me very triggered. We started by ordering drinks, we got a very expensive bottle of wine that was very warm, after returning this wine back we found out that the bottle costs normally 2€ and they were selling it for 35€… On top of it we waited for at least an hour to get a meal… 35 mins to get a starter. The meal did not taste too bad, but the manager charged us for an extra meal and was arguing that we ordered that meal. Overall, this was the worst restaurant that we have ever been to! Do not come here!

The food was awful and overpriced. I never complain about service but in this case they did absolutely nothing to make us feel welcome. This is obviously a tourist trap that relies on spending as little as possible to squeeze as much money as they can from clueless visitors. You'd be better served going to McDonalds so at least you know what you get.

Do not go here! I ordered ‘assorted fish skewers’ which cost €11, it turned out to be half salmon fillet in some sauce. When I questioned why it wasn’t skewers they said it was an ‘incorrect translation’. I also ordered mushrooms in garlic oil that were mediocre at best, definitely not €7.50 worth. My partner had a salad that was ok, however the plate was dirty. We were seated directly over a drain, on a 30deg angle and a bucket was hanging directly above my partner’s head to catch drips from the street drain above! When we questioned paying €11 for a tiny bit of salmon they simply said ‘that’s the price.’ Overpriced, grubby and rude sums it up.

They tryed to scam us 2 times: the mix of meats and veggies says is a portion for 2 people, but then you need to pay 2 times the price on in. The owner them started to fake that his credit card reader was broken so he wanted cash. The meat was dry and disgusting and the vegetables old and smelly don't come back

The restaurant is perfect and if I had read the reviews here before going, I probably wouldn't have gone to this incredible place. The chairs are very comfortable, I drank great sangria, the service was excellent with the waiters, I ate the best paella of my life (I ordered the meatless option, only seafood and vegetables), the churros were delicious too! Beautiful, delicious food, fair price and I will definitely recommend it to many people

Food is not worth the prices at all and it’s not a clean place. You sit next to the channel, that’s really nice

Rude staff. Certainly won't suggest it. We went there with a child who was eating an ice-cream, we wanted to sit there for a drink, but the staff told us to leave because of the child having an ice-cream bought from another place. There food quality has really poor reviews, so I really don't know why they're still up and running 🤷🏻‍♂️ they need to make serious changes in staff and quality

Incredibly expensive for what you get. Waited more than an hour for our food. I complained but they just shrugged their shoulders. Terrible service. Below average food. Small portions. You should expect to be hungry afterwards. And angry.

Disappointed I didn’t check reviews before eating here… staff were quite nice but service was very slow, food was over priced and not very good! Then we were told we could not use a debit card - at the end of our meal, not before ordering. We actually had to stop for a snack on the way home!!!

I was very disappointed about the tapas here, the cheese was old, the spanse potato omelette was dry and tasted like a fridge. And expensive too! The location was good.

They were very unfriendly and forced us to order multiple dishes per person. Food quality wad just okay, but very expensive.

Food was garbage, and the service was rude. After we spent €40 per person on what were supposed to be tapas - but were really just microwaved junk - we ended up at the McDonalds across the street afterwards because the portions were just tiny.

Good place to have a romantic lunch/dinner. The service is good 10-15 min wait time. Staff are friendly The prices are not the lowest, but its normal for Utrecht centre
