Nothing short of elegance and splendour. The environment is clean, serene and beautiful. There is huge Golf course and golfers inn. The lawns are well scaped with lush grasses, flowers and trees. The atmosphere is clean and very natural

I had a terrific time here. The environment was just the sort for relaxation or for business meetings. The rooms are clean. The service excellent and I truly look forward to another stay. Can’t rate this place highly enough Rooms are great for single occupants or shared. Really well furnished and spacious. Rooms have one wall that’s all windows which makes for great lighting views. The service is exceptional. Staff are really courteous and helpful. Food is A1. With a wide selection of Breakfast, lunch and dinner, you really can’t go wrong. Full buffet platters of starters, main courses, salads, fruit and desert with every meal. It’s got loads of amenities, from a swimming pool to a gym, to a sauna to sports, to a marina. Most of which are complimentary. The grounds are expansive interspaced with lush greens, golfing ranges and more In summary, really great place to take time off your busy schedule. 10 out of 10 will recommend

Well they don't call it Icon for nothing. It was a wonderful experience. The open space lobby is beautiful. The rooms were well decorated and maintained. Moving around isn't difficult. I sadly wasn't able to play gold or check out the marina but they both are a must see. There was great service however the maintenance crew didn't respond as fast as I'd expect when there was a power trip.

Ibom Resort is a delightful hotel and resort. Located just 15mins from the city center and 45mins from the airport, it is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. The 18 hole golf course on display across the resort is a sweet attraction for golf enthusiasts. The lush green vegetation makes the environment serene and climate friendly. The staff are friendly and helpful. The kitchen serves up some delicious local and intercontinental options on their buffet menu. I absolutely recommend the resort for a nice getaway with loved ones and friends.

I left Ibom hotel this morning with my entire family and all there’s to say is super duper amazing. From the environment to the staffs to the food, everything was awesomely awesome. We had such a lovely time there. The pool is very nice, the restaurant is super cool in fact it felt like I was not in this Nigeria. The staffs are so cautious and polite. It’s a place I’ll definitely visit over and over and over again. We were very very impressed. It’s a very cool location for honeymoon too. The environment speaks love. It’s also super clean and neat. I’ll give them 10 stars over and over. It’s an experience everyone should have. I LOVED the live band God they were just heavenly. We stayed in one of the Charlets and it was spacious and very homely. I had fun and enjoyed every second I spent there.

This is the best resort I have visited here in Nigeria. Right from the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly received by the lady at the check in counter, however,there was something striking about the staff, they were all very polite. There is so much to talk about the resort but it is best experienced 👌

So I went to spent my weekend at Ibom icon hotel, and I must say their services is one of the best have seen so far. From the entrance, to the receptionist, even the workers as well. It's a nice vacation place, and a good tourism location. It houses a nice Golf field, a Marina resort, nice view for relaxation, a swimming pool and lots of other outdoor/indoor games. The bike ride there was amazingly satisfying. The environment is safe and serene with lots of green, natural space to get lost in. The people there are awesome as well. Everyone seems to love their jobs and the people they come in contact with. Be sure to take a lot of money with you if you intend to eat though. Due to the quality of service and running cost, food is a bit expensive than what you would get elsewhere, but boy are they worth it!

Beautiful hotel, love the scenery and ambient. The customer service is the best I have experienced in hotels in Nigeria and it gives Akwa-Ibom a very lovily representation. The biggest challenge I would say is something of note. Make just you have a car service plan, if you are doing a short visit.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The food is excellent, prepared by talented chefs and cooks, they offer a wide range of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The architecture is amazing with an interior that is classy and exquisite but not overwhelming, it is rather homely and welcoming. It's facilities are all functional and in the best of conditions. The staff are ever respectful, accommodating and ready to help. This includes every member of staff, from the reception to guest service to laundry to the dining staff. The surroundings are the most beautiful I've had the opportunity to experience. A calming and enthralling combination of the human intentional with the natural spontaneous. Rolling fields of green, palm trees, rolling hills, an expansive golf course, a pier by the river, and a wonderful tour guide. It was a very wonderful experience and I pray for an opportunity to revisit the place. It deserves every bit of the accolades it gets. PS: It's a little far from the main town, so....

Restaurant staff and supervisor were very rude to me and some guest. When we enquired whether it was possible to do take away on our lunch because were observing our weekly Monday "Fast" Her response to us was very insultive. The hotel is very serene, clean, the food looks appealing and good, but that one action of the manager and her staff has left a very unpleasant impression I have for the hotel. If it is the Hotel policy not to do take away for guest who cannot eat at the restaurant , She could have communicated better.

Nature has a way of saying hello, this is one of her ways. Located on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Uyo, Nwaniba road Precisely. The rooms are exquisitely furnished and clean, Olympic size swimming pool with space for kids, a well-maintained golf course, entertaining bars, a lounge, a fitness center, and a restaurant with an endless list of menus. If you are good with traditional dishes, you have got to make this place your second home.

Ibom Icon is a beautiful place to vacation or have a day out with a partner, friends or family. The scenery is everything + staff is cordial. I found it incredibly relaxing. Some things are cheaper than expected. For instance, you can swim for 3k, have a tour for 2k and rent a bicycle for 2k. The salon prices are also fair. When I went, there was an evening buffet for 13k. The food is also really good! PS: It didn't make sense to me that a small bottle of water (50cl) cost a thousand naira. Also, would advise not going with a tour guide or paying for a tour. Just take a walk on the grounds all by yourself. The tour guide I hired was boring, repetitious, impatient and didn't really know his onions. I then took a detour to the golf club for some golf lessons (costs 12k) and then the Marina club just to sit out & enjoy the view of the lake. The staff at the marina club were not hospitable and the food there wasn't all that. Still worth a visit!

Ibom Icon and Golf Resort is a golden treasure and the best of hospitality service in Akwa Ibom. but however the pinned location on the map is very wrong and miles away from the original location. I will correct and revert to google for immediate action. the original pin o this hotel is 324R+73 Uyo

The rooms are lovely and so is the scenery. I came around 12pm and check in time was at about 2pm, I disliked that I was made to wait till the official check in time. The breakfast is complimentary (buffet) and it tastes really good. I love how courteous the staff are, especially the kind lady who made me omelettes, Mfon. We always had to have our face masks on, the housekeeping staff look awesome in their uniforms. It's a beautiful place for you to really get some quiet and relax with you and your loved ones, or for you to relax alone. I walked the length and breadth of the vicinity and it was calming. I however didn't know that there's a complimentary tour around the facility available for all checked in guests on Saturday, Tuesday and another day in the week — these 📅 days need to be confirmed anyway but my advice for you is that when you check in, ALWAYS ask the receptionist what offers are available to you as a compliment, or other offers you might be interested in even though they're paid for. There's also lunch and dinner buffet at the hotel and it costs about N6,000 to N7,000 per person as of the time I visited. You also need to manage your movement. How do I get out of the resort? The resort is quite far in (I didn't know this) and it isn't easy at all to get back into town. There are 🚕 taxi drivers whom you can get at the reception but I imagined they'd be costly so I never used any. I think I also enquired about their cost and it was costly too for a one way trip not even a return ride. Bolt also seemed busy in the area and I never could get any bolt ride, hence I had to have my own personal cab guy to take me around and bring me back in. And it was more cost efficient. Overall, it's a fine place to visit and tick off your bucket list.

It was a great experience in a serene, beautiful place. It is probably the most beautiful place in South South and South East. I didn't enjoy the television though. They need to phase them out for a newer TVs. The environment is second to none.

Nice place, excellent treatment by the service providers. They have a lot of facilities ranging from swimming pools to gyms, and even a wide expanse of land for those who wish to take a stroll. Their food is hygienically prepared and has a nice taste. The location is actually interior as it's almost at the extreme of Nwaniba. Visitors should be car owners or those willing to use bolt.

Lovely place... clean, good food, great pool! Staff were polite and efficient... and we were many! Highly recommend it if you're looking for a weekend break cycling, playing golf or just lazing by the pool!

Probably the one of best places to stay at in Akwa Ibom, though pricey. The rooms are nice and cozy with carpeted floors that lead to a balcony overlooking either nature or other areas of the hotel/resort. The buffet options are good enough and definitely a cheaper option to the room service offerings. There are a number of activities to engage in, including taking a tour around the resort with the help of a tour guide, golfing lessons, and bicycles rentals. There were a few customer service snags during my visit, but overall it was a good experience.

I weep for what a lovely hotel has become, I had the worst experience and service ever. Carpets are ripped, stains, on the carpets, walls are dirty. We had people entering our rooms in our absence, claiming to check the fridge, then harassing us over the phone about the items in the fridge. We had to carry all eleven suitcases our selves, The rooms we initially reserved and paid for, had air conditioners leaking which made a puddle on the floors and carpets. The rooms were musky and damp, from lack of use or airing. We were double charged for meals and drinks because of lack of communication. For what I paid for the two king suites, it was not worth it. I totally regret my stay and would never stay again. Every other 3 or 4 star hotel in Uyo, offers much more as I have come to learn. This is such a let door for akwa ibom state.

I had a beautiful experience yet again. Staff are alwats willing to help, the entire facility is extremely neat. The local delicasies are spot on. And the icing on it all is the good music from the live band. It is a lovely vacation spot for everyone

I went to la meridian to apply for a job, I was impressed at the excellent customer service from the gateman to the receptionist, up to the Human resource department. I was also impressed by how serene the environment was with the occasional sounds of birds. It was an amazing experience and I strongly believe this is a tourist haven

This is The one and only 5 star hotel that is available now in Akwa Ibom State. Situated amidst rich palm forest vegetation, this magnificent hotel is on about 174 hectares of land. If you need peace and serenity complemented by original atmosphere. ibom hotel and golf resort got you covered. They have excellent customer care services and the best meal in town. Amazingly, the place is well secured.

Lovely place! Serene environment with breathtaking scenery. Lots to do within the premises and its environs, from hiking to golfing to swimming. You can also enjoy live performances at the bar and poolside. The restaurant also boasts a good spread. Ime the tour guide made the hotel tour fun and memorable. I would definitely recommend taking the tour. The rooms are nice and cozy with a balcony attached to each room. The only downside for me was the poor channel selection on the Televisison and the fact that the air-conditioning wasn't cooling. Other than that its an absolutely wonderful place to rest, relax, recharge and also have fun. I would definitely recommend and will be back with my family.

So I got a 3 day vacation to the iconic Ibom Icon. A birthday treat from my husband. On arrival, we were welcomed with a cool glass of sparkling wine. I liked that. Of course I got a picture for you. The general ambience at first glance was a peaceful getaway for that needed rest. I loved, loved that the staff were so polite and courteous. The Ibom Icon is built for golfers and is one of the 3 golf courses in Nigeria built to international standards. (This is according to our guide, I haven't verified that). One thing for sure, it's a beautiful place that you'll fall in love with over and over again. The has an art gallery, and the pieces are beautiful and very African. A SPA, a barbing and hair salon, a fitness gym, a phone shop, book shop, mini store, swimming pool and a bar. A life band on Friday night, cultural day on Saturday and the restaurant topped it off with traditional dishes. You should try their okra soup it's simply 😋. One take away that is uncontested is that "these people sabi cook abeg". For outdoor activities, you can visit the swimming pool, rent a bike, play golf or simply get Ime the resort guide to take you on a walking history of the Ibom Icon and wooo Ime did an amazing job. He's got the history of the Icon off hand. So if you find yourself there, pls ask and insist on "Ime" as your tour guide. There are 3 ways to access the Ibom Icon. By road, air (a helipad) and by water. The river I learned can take you all the way to Cameron. It's a beautiful place to visit, clean rooms, excellent bedding. 👌. And they could make a golfer out of my husband, trust me, it's worth visiting. Oops I nearly forgot, there's a membership club you can join to enjoy amazing benefits. Or simply play golf and pay daily or "pay as you go".

The staff were a delight 😊. Courteous and friendly, they made one feel at home. Service was almost perfect, if not perfect. The food was good, wide variety to choose from. Breakfast lunch and dinner all buffet, eat all you can. Beautiful golf course (don't play golf), spread on rolling grounds and a marina. Sadly no boats were available. Would definitely love to go back...

The rooms was clean and yes it has an golfing area and you could bike and a bar and it had people playing music and it had some stores one had a ps5 in it but it was closed. The hotel overall was good

Highly recommended get away spot. Services are ok but could be better. House keeping can be better too. However, food is great. I recommend newer bicycles for tours (the ones on ground are worn out) and a tour bus also. A mini zoo can also be put in place to make the resort more entertaining. But on the whole, the environment is serene and relaxing.

Ensure you were comfortable shoes because it is a very large establishment with so much to see. If you love golfing pack your golf shoes, if you love the waterside then be prepared to enjoy the scenery. They have a wonderfully catered restaurants for all your needs. They have buffet on Saturdays morning and evening, they have Akwaibom nights on Saturdays, they have seafood day where you will eat all the seafood you can think of.

Fabric service so far. Best attribute has to the ambiance. My Lord, if you want to escape the city and it’s busyness, this is the place. Also the quality of service is great. The food is absolutely delicious. The waiters and concierge are always wanting to help with everything! The view, no the view is worth the hotel fees.

Fantastic environment, splendid service and fantastic experience

I had a good time at the resort. Food was nice, the room was lovely with a breathtaking view, the live band at the bar was exceptional, the swimming pool was great. Only downside was the old bicycles I was offered when I wanted to ride to the Marina club...so if you'd like to ride a bicycle around the property I'll advice you bring yours. It's a great location if you love the outdoors.

I don't consider this good value for money with respect to the state of the rooms. It just feels that they are too pricey for the ambience. The food is good though, very good. They might want to think of redesigning their rooms.

There is humidity, mold, and falling dank ceilings. Not how I saw when I came 2 yrs ago. I went for a cousin's wedding and they served cocktail at the same time as dinner and my dinner plate didn't even have all the included items. A guy came chasing me because I had a glass from the bar at the wedding. This place is not a 4 or 5 star and I wish they would work on their quality measures.

How do I start? This is one of those luxury hotel getaways or better yet, a getaway resort of grand style. The Ibom Icon is Easily a 5 star resort ⛵ that's got a massive 18hole golf course, fully equipped gym, a water 🌊 front for boat rides, wonderful chalets and all ensconced in a plush vegetation view. Now the view is just nothing short of breath taking, no exaggerations here at all. I don't think I can speak to how beautiful this place is. Did someone ask about their rates per night ?😜😜 Of course that's the kicker, quite pricey at over 120k for their standard rooms but if you ask me, it's well worth it.... Absolutely! Thinking of a vacation🛫⛱️🏨, this place serves that purpose 8.6 outta 10 and the city of Uyo is most welcoming. Trust me on that.

The most delightful part of staying here is it's seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the city. Then, there are well appointed rooms with balconies that offers view of the greens surrounding the resort. The breakfast was good also and the staff were perfect hosts. Looking forward to my next stay.

One of the most beautiful resorts in the south of Nigeria. Very clean and serene. Their food is also very good. There’s a very big golf course with several lakes. There’s also a river close by (Ibom Icon Marina) which is very ideal for photography and sightseeing.

Then if you want to rest and get away from life without desiring the traditional extra experience like shopping and play activities, there's probably no better place. It's simply to heal the mind and soul. Play golf, go fishing, go for long walks, get fresh unadulterated air and get well, there's no better place.

The location is pure nature. Open the balcony doors and get a gush of fresh air in the morning. The restaurant is pure Ibom hospitality. Fresh food and fruits in an ambient atmosphere. They need some improvement in the state of the rooms, and provide more channels for TV lovers.

You cannot but love the scenery of Ibom resort from the gate to the reception, absolute beauty of nature. The golf course is one of the best I’ve seen in Nigeria. The have 2 massive pool with relaxing area to relax. The food is absolutely amazing!! I didn’t miss Lagos one bit with the food. The team in the kitchen is doing an amazing job, delicious Continental and Nigerian cuisine. I love that the AC in the room is super cold, with super fluffy pillows. And they mehn, they have some good music there, there’s a band that plays in the bar area they know their onions. If you’re looking to have a rest away from hussle and bustle in Naija, you should visit Ibom resort.

I know nothing lovelier in Uyo than the Ibom Icon Hotel & Golf Resort. I had a beautiful experience at the hotel. Even more captivating is its beautiful natural landscape. For water lovers, the hotel has different sizes of swimming pool for the expert swimmers and learners; adult and kids. They have a special buffet service on Sundays, you can eat to your fill from morning to whatever time your body can no longer take it...LOL. Plus, they have a very great customer service.
