Basically just a fancy hall to taste wines. They charged 15$ for a person, offered 3 spirits and 7 local wines. I didn't expect much, but some of the wines were quite enjoyable. Ended up buying a bottle of "cognac". I'm not too sure they got English speaking guide at all times. But anyhow worth a visit.

You can share one degustation package with friends. They will not offer you, so just say in advance. *Only cash and no receipt. Wine - 👍 Worth for money - 👎 Sommelier - well, no somellier

100,000 Soms for 10 tastings, you definitely get tipsy after all of them. Especially the cognac which has heavy alcoholic content. 5 minute tour of the museum and then on to the tasting

Price is now 150,000 som. They also don’t take cards so you have to pay cash. I walked over thinking it would be 50,000 based on other reviews and didn’t have enough cash. Despite the place being completely empty and in the midst of being cleaned, they weren’t willing to bargain (and prices weren’t posted anywhere).

Wonderful little museum of winemaking in Samarkand. We had a wine tasting of 10 wines and cognac, presented by Odil who lead us through the history of the winery. The pours were very generous! 😉 Wonderful visit well worth while!!

Less about the tour and more about the tasting - I think we spent about 5 minutes being told about the history of the site and around an hour and a half in the tasting room. 10 drinks to try: 3 dry wines, 4 dessert wines, 2 cognacs and a mysterious alcoholic "medicine". Very generous amounts in each glass, which you are encouraged to polish off... you'll make a lot of friends at the table and leave in good spirits!

A fun, rather than learning experience if you do with the right people. We booked through our hotel, the other people there were in groups too. There was a short talk about the history of the company before the tasting. The guide from another group translated for the English speakers. Out of 10 wines 5 were sweet, 2 brandies, one liqueur and three standard wines. There was an opportunity to purchase bottles of the tested drinks. We paid 50,000 soums each, which was considerably cheaper than prices advertised on various websites. Recommended if not taken too seriously.

Excellent English speaking sommelier who introduced us to 10 different Uzbek wines and cognac. Wine was delicious and we even bought a bottle home to share with our friends.

Great presentation, great tasting, museum part is small. Lovely. I was definitely the only visitor today, probably even for the week? ;p

A lot of fun. Only 200,000 som (~16 euro) for a tray of 10 wines and brandies. Can't say they are very good but worth a go

A bit of a dofferent place for a visit. We did wine tasting and unfortunately by European standards the wines were average. The price seemed a bit steep as well and our hostess (even though she seemed very nice) spoke English very badly

Interesting and great experience. The dry wines were definitely not my favorite it the sweet ones are excellent as well as cognacs. Definitely worth a visit

Small yet interesting place filled with history of people's lives beside the winemaking.

A very enjoyable, enlightening and fancy experience in a museum with an extravagantly laid out table with wine flights showcasing grapes from different parts of Uzbekistan.
