Restaurant β€’ Country food restaurant

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Super friendly stuff, amazing pilov! Very nice and clean, like it more then a place we went to in Samarkand. Pilov feels lighter, they make it using copper lagan (local big pot) not iron. You can even go and see the kitchen yourself, take pics. One pot is 100kg and smaller one is 60kg. A must place... People often mention plov, Plov, good, restaurant, service, Bukhara,

Plov is considered a national dish in many countries of Central Asia and Middle East. Today I had Bukhara plov and it was yum! If you are tourist this is a must try! Plov is a hearty dish made from rice, fresh deep fried beef, yellow or red carrot, onions and vegetable oil. You can add on some eggs and tomato salad as sides. I had to share a plate of plov because even their small plate serving was too much for me. The place gets really busy from 12pm to 2pm, so it's best to head there early to get a table. The restaurant is clean and their staffs are friendly.

Plov institution in bukhara, the restaurant is open 11.30 to around 2pm until there is no more plov. Very very tasty and proper plov in bukhara. Better than most places, Plov is often better in canteens and dedicated plov centres.

Came here to sample one of the National dishes of Uzbekistan, Plov. This place specialises in this one dish cooking a huge batch up every morning to serve for lunch. They are only open for a few hours a day as when it’s sold out they close normally before 2pm so best to get there around 12 when it’s not so busy. Service was good and food is cheap around $2.5 for a plate of food that was delicious I would recommend any tourist to try this place.

Efficient service, open for lunch only. Plov is good, and nice with the quail egg and horse meat addition.

The national dish Bukhara pilav is distinctive from other kinds of pilav. Very yummy for gourmets...

Great plov, a bit different than in Tashkent, very reasonable prices, 3 dining rooms with nice design

Amazing place. It's not focusing so much on tourists, but it's rather where the locals come to eat, so the atmosphere is very authentic. The plov is delicious, and the meat is extra soft. Even our fussy children enjoyed it. It's a busy place during the lunchtine, so you can't expect an exclusive service, but both of the days we went to have lunch there, the restaurant manager was very attentive to all of the customers and kept things running smooth.

Best Plov in Central Asia! I was very impressed at the plov that had so much flavour and tender meat. The only thing I would say is the waiters could be more welcoming at the door.

Big restaurant, full, mainly locals which is always a good sign. Plov is very tasty, I ordered also horse meat which was tender, and local yoghurt. Very good service, fast and efficient despite the place being crowded. Very good prices.

It’s fair to say "The Plov" is the top tourist spot for enjoying Bukhara pilaf. However, I don't mean this completely negatively. The menu offers just 2 main dishes and a maximum of 15 other choices. But they are delicious! The place is only open for 4 hours a day, and it does not guarantee seating availability during the tourist season. The staff is skilled and serves food quickly. However, in a crowded cafe with hungry people speaking different languages, you also want to gobble up your dish fast. They adorned the interior in traditional Uzbek style with featuring ornaments, ceramics, and pictures of Bukhara on the walls. They have no hesitation in displaying their prizes from various chef tournaments. The prices are just fair, they won't make a hole in your wallet. I liked this place, but it’s definitely not an option for your typical relaxed meal.

Delicious Plov with clean, quick and affordable service. Lots of locals eat here too which is a testament to it’s authenticity. This is definitely worth a try!

I went here at a non peak time and it was very busy. The experience was fantastic as was the food and the prices, and it's always a good sign when it's busy. Nice tea, great plov, good prices. It's more of a local place but I'd recommend for tourists to go as a better local experience than going to a town centre restaurant.

We came here around noon to try plov, and got to experience a nice meal in a beautifully decorated restaurant. The plov was great, service good. Overall not disappointed.
