This
is
a
lovely
place
I
ate
at
several
times
when
I
was
in
Athens
last
autumn
(2023).
It's
really
very
affordable
if
you're
on
a
small
budget,
and
yet
you
still
benefit
from
delicious
Cretan
flavoured
foods.
It's
homemade
food,
which
is
great
because
it's
healthier
than
the
usual
takeout,
and
everyday
it's
something
different
on
the
menu.
I
particularly
enjoyed
the
Cretan
herb
pies,
and
also
the
mashed
potatoes
with
garlic
and
small
fish.
The
owner's
name
is
Evtihia
(sounds
like
Evtiheeya),
and
it
means
happiness.
She's
a
wonderful
person
who
works
very
hard
everyday
to
bring
this
food
to
your
plate,
and
the
service
is
great.
To
Mikio
means
(the
small
place
in
Crete),
and
it's
small.
It's
not
a
place
to
take
a
large
group
to
because
there
isn't
enough
room,
but
you
might
be
able
to
to
take
food
out
for
a
large
group.
Always
best
to
ask.
The
address
is
Ioánnou
Drosopoúlou
14,
which
is
a
side
street
in
the
Kipseli
area.
When
I
was
there,
the
hours
were
from
approximately
12
noon
to
6
or
7
pm
(at
the
very
latest)
Tuesday-Saturday,
and
I
think
it
was
open
only
for
lunch
on
Sundays.
Again,
best
to
ask
or
phone
to
make
sure.
