Restaurant Breakfast restaurant

👍👍 This is NOT a brunch place like some wrote in reviews. They only have coffee, some deserts and few pre-made sandwiches/salads. That’s a coffee bar. Walked all the way to find that out. Can’t blame this place though. But at least the Greek yoghurt we got was good! People often mention coffee, pies, staff, good, great, delicious, spinach, Athens, breakfast, recommend,

I really recommend this place for breakfast! They have plenty of seating, and if you order in then they give you water with your meal and a delicious chocolate filled cookie with your coffee. They made great recommendations for which fillo pastries we should get. We got spinach with feta and spinach with goat cheese. Coffee and cappuccino were decent, but the fillo pastry was amazing!

Stopped in randomly during my morning. Friendly and helpful staff of ladies that work here. I tried a ham and cheese, spinach, and sweet pie. They were all amazing. The sweet one was especially good. Service was great!

In you are in Athens, you MUST try Fillo bakery. It was the best spanakopita I have ever eaten in my whole life. I decided to tell the beautiful lady there my thoughts in which she told me that their spanakopitas are made from the old ladies in the villages and bought to the shop. It was very affordable as well. Amazing.

Definitely my favorite pie shop while staying in Greece. The pies are fresh. I don't know if they have an English menu but it's fairly simple. Their kotopita (Chicken) and Tiropita (Cheese) are outstanding and they also have other classics. Coffee is good too, I recommend the Freddo Cappuccino. Workers are fast, efficient, and kind (and willing to let me try to speak Greek to them!) This place is a must.

Friendly staff and quick serving but not the best pies/pastries of Athens. Though the quality is good for the price.

Great variety of pies for a on the go breakfast, as there are only two small tables to sit down in front. Friendly service and good coffee! Worth it!

A pleasant enough place for a quick walk-by bite but as for authentic pastries or anything worth making effort to come to it is lacking. The fillo is too crispy at the top and too soft at the bottom, needs clear and clean cooking all the way through. That could just be put down to their style if the fillings were good. Unfortunately the flavour is very bland. The feta cheese & tomato was hardly discernible from the pastry. There are many better places in Athens.

Nice breakfast pastry shop just down the road from an Airbnb we were staying at. I got a chicken pita and my partner got a greens pita. I liked both! Very inexpensive and authentic. The only complaint I have is that there are beggars who come by and disturb the patrons—we had 3 come by and ask us for money in the short time we were seated. One of them was even incredulous that we didn’t even have 10 cents to spare. Literally, after we said we had no cash, he said “10 cents? Not even 10 cents?? You don’t have 10 cents???” I’ve noticed other businesses being a little more diligent about chasing away solicitors/beggars. Also, if you’re American like me, you might get surprised that they being you your bill/check right away. I dunno why that threw me off so bad. I was like, are they asking us to pay immediately? (Answer: no. They’re just helping you keep track of your own tab)

Really great food and drinks. I liked how strong the coffee was - much needed. The food was a good portion size and the juice was fresh. Well priced and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend!

I will never forget my first bite of the ham and cheese pie. I almost cried it was so delicious. (I had a similar feeling the first time I tried francishinas in Porto) The staff was welcoming and friendly, the prices were incredibly valuable. I plan on visiting again tomorrow. The sweet tomato sauce was a great surprise! I would buy food here weekly if I lived in Athens. UPDATE: I did go back again, and it was just as amazing.

Stumbled upon this lovely coffee shop and it is a nice place to chill. Love their coffee! But not so much on the pie. I even came back again just before I left Athens for my last cuppa!

Loved the breakfast! Delicious breakfast options and a wide variety of choose from. The staff is helpful. They have outdoor seating. The coffee was descent. The price was great. With the coffee they give free chocolate cookies that were incredible!!!! That was maybe the best part of it all. I recommend you check this place out.
