Fantastic place to buy art in Athens. Has items for any budget, from a print for 3 euros to a large oil painting in the hundreds. Great service, and the owner is very helpful in finding what you want. Even offers minor adjustments for paintings if you have some time! Can give canvas paintings in a sturdy tube for transport.

Such helpful staff working here! I asked if they had anymore of a particular print and she opened up the whole box they had in storage, and then when I still couldn’t find one, she gave me all the copies of originals and made me up the print for me! Amazing service and really made my day!

I ended up here on accident but it’s one of the best places I have ever been to. I got two beautiful oil paintings for around 40 euro each, and I would have paid around 150 for each one! The prices are mind blowing. My only regret is not buying more, I wish they had a place to buy similar ones to the ones I got!

I went to many art shops around Plaka and I find Canvas Greece has many available options for my theme. The shop has wide array of choices you can select and Yanis has been very helpful showing me the closest options of my required theme. Just ensure to show some pictures and he will try his best to look for the closest e.g. fruits, floral, island landscape, boat, the Parthenon etc. The shop has different sizes that definitely fit the layout of your walls. You can choose professional and students artworks depending on your budget. I find it reasonable (for the students artworks) since its an original oil painting piece and the cause is noble as it encourage and support future artists. I highly recommend to check Canvas Greece whenever you are in Athens or around Plaka district. I really appreciate Yanis for his assistance and great customer service.

This has to be the best shop I've EVER visited while travelling! The man was SO helpful, giving me good suggestions and trying to help me find the perfect magnet. I just wanted 2. There were hundreds to choose from! All the artwork is original pieces and it's just a beautiful place with very kind people! If I'm ever in Athens again, I'll definitely make a trip back here!

There's a wide range of options from 19€ smaller paintings to 100€+ larger options. Great place to get a budget painting souvenir that still looks beautiful. These are originals, not prints.

Vast collection of paintings with frame &, oil on canvas, printed and others. Very different sizes and prices. You'll definitely spend time admiring and browsing to find the one to buy. Worth visiting and probably the best place to buy paintings or souvenirs.

I visited the Muse music store with my three grown up sons (which seems to share frontage with Canvas an art shop). We spent an enjoyable time there being introduced to the traditional Greek bazouki by the friendly curator of the small shop. They had a range of instruments including ones suitable as gifts for children. Well worth a visit.

Great variety of paintings. Most are Greek landscapes, but there are some more abstract pieces, too. The salesperson was very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for. They have both professional paintings and student paintings, so all budgets can find their own original pieces. Highly recommend!
