I have experienced lunch at Mahakali sevusal at noon and we found out there was a rush so we were waiting for our chance for 5 minutes. As we entered we were allotted a table, ordered cheese sev tari , masala sev tari And a glass of butter milk as it was noon. It took them to bring us to our table within 2 minutes. The usal was super and tasty. I never thought that sev usal cheese would bring some good taste, but ya turned out to be delicious. The hygiene and cleanliness was on a point of note over there. I recommend you visit places in the morning or at noon or at night.

Sev Usal is a famous breakfast item of the people of Vadodara. 😋 They also give tarri and pudina chutney along with it. Pav they give along with it are totally different than the normal laddi pav,small in size, more softer. The taste is mild and you can try this dish if you like Sev.😍😋👌

"The Mahakali Sev Usal Center", they are called discoverer of this unique dish Sev Usal, Vadodar's Iconic Food . It is somewhat similar to Misal Paav but it is different in taste. It is served with butter and cheese as well. If you are having it for the first time I would recommend to go with cheese/butter option as it tastes better. Ambiance is ok like irani restaurants. Usually you have to wait for 10-15 minutes for table & 1-1 &1 /2 hr on weekends. Parking space is good for both types of accomodations

Jay Mahakali Sev Usal is an age old iconic eatery. This road side stall has featured in quite many travel and food shows and is very famous among the locals. At around 4 pm, we were roaming in the city area of Vadodara and just then we could hear our stomachs making some noise. The noise signified hunger. Before the noise could intensify, we were right on the course of Jay Mahakali Sev Usal with the aid of Google Maps. If you wanna know what is the difference between Usal and Misal, I’ll say that Misal is the glorified cousin of Usal who did his masters while Usal was happy to simply graduate. As far as the appearance is concerned, Usal tends to keep things relatively simple. Misal is the jazzy chap.

Everything is great...the simplicity,the taste,the service at the best...highly overwhelmed by the service and the staff behaviour..highly recommended when in Vadodara.I visited there oldest one branch kirti mandir.The place is very neat and clean.You have to book a table in prior or just wait for 10-15 min in rush time.The taste is really good and not too much spicy.As per choice you can add rassa(tarri) in the misal.The pav is quite unique and good for this type of sev Usal.must visit this place.The options are very economical.

Very interesting and efficient place. Someone is there to take the order , the moment you sit. Ordered the famous sev usal, it was served in quite a unique way, the usal is a gravy of dried peas, one small plate of sev , similar plate of chopped onion leaves and 8 pav"s wrapped in a plastic cover,.they provide a very fierce looking red chutney on the table for those looking to add that extra dash of spice. It was quite tasty & filling. The pav is smallish, but nice and soft. It is charged separately for as much as you consume. Another popular thing is their 'chaas', which goes well after the meal. It is quite a popular place with the locals, many students were seen. Very pocket friendly, absolute value for money.

I gotta give it to them that out of all the places that I've eaten Sev Usal, Mahakali is just great with mouthwatering treats and the same taste since decades. I would highly recommend Sev usal lovers to try this place, eat and rejoice in this joint to feel satiated. Kudos!

We tried sev usal here for the first time. Usal was going so good with their Lasan chutney, green chilly chutney & lemon water, it was giving delicious kick of the flavours. Cheese masala sev was yummy. We had to wait here 20 minutes to get our turn to seat. Basically you can say it’s QSR food joint. Staff was friendly. Proper cleanliness & hygiene is maintained here.

It was a wonderful experience! The hype was totally worth it. Prices are also reasonable. We reached on a weekday at after 3 pm onwards. The place was crowded and we waited for 20 mins to get a seat. You have to register your name there and then they call. We shared a plate of cheese sev usal and it was yummm! Some had told me that the usal is very spicy but I found it perfect. They offer more than enough tarri, spicy chutney and usal gravy to add as required. You can order extra buns to finish it off. We actually ended up underutilizing the usal since had to run elsewhere 😃 Tucked in a corner of an alley, you cannot spot it from the main road. Will visit again for more! Taste wise this is still one of the best Sev Usal in Vadodara. Service is also warm and prompt. If seems that they are overcharging compared to the street side ones but it's all for the quality ingredients and services that you get here.

Went 1st time to have misal here after reading all reviews,it was a sev usal spicy and had 2 more chutneys available which were very spicy...plenty sitting area,fast service,staff suggest you with different dishes available...it's crowded place specially in morning till 11am...try once
