I went at this restaurant for breakfast. I love this place for its Upma in particular. Also South Indian food is very good here. Tea and Coffee served here also one of the best. One of the oldest restaurants in Vadodara city and one of my favorite destination for breakfast especially. Would definitely recommend for breakfast!

The food is not so good, south indian dosa ans idli doesn't taste like proper dosa and all.

VERY UNHYGIENIC The staff forget to give us the glass of water as there duty is to greet their customers. The food which I received that was a lot oily like on top of the food there was a spoon when I lift the spoon to eat I saw the spoon also had 6-7 drops of oil in that and then when I started chewing the food it had Powdered stones in it. I recommend that change the decesion to go there and enjoy the meal.

You will get authentic centuries old taste south Indian food. With best quality same old taste as before 10-20 years.

From 1976 to 92 we ate breakfast , meals So many times than monthly twice..this time we went after @ 8-10years. We love to have snacks there

Nice restaurant in the middle of the city, you can grab some brunch or lunch while shopping around. South Indian food and Patti samosa must try. Parking issue is there due to narrow road.

Gurudev restaurant is not just an ordinary restaurant for me because I've been regularly visiting this place since my childhood. It's been more than 25 years but the taste of food and ambience is still the same.

Tried dahi vada, masala dosa and masala uttapam. The masala dosa tasted good, rest two were average . For the price I would recommend.

75 Rs for premium Rawa Masala Onion Dosa ? Middle of the Banyan City? Dandia Bazaar or akota any where..Stand in Q on weekends or rush time ..no tea coffee peaceful time but resolute period of Gulping down peacefully good South Indian food..popular since decades.

Quality of food degraded over the period of time... I have Visited this place for years.. But from last 2-3 visits, quality of food specially the chetney and dahi.. Was pathetic.. Even dosa was not properly roasted... Insted visit an unnamed place which has same dishes, just little far from this place where old canara cafe was located earlier..
