Very good and economic restaurant for Punjabi and south Indian dishes. Prime location in old city. The interior is recently renovated but not sufficient for more crowd. Usually there will be wait of 10 mins if you visit during dinner time.

You can try breakfast menu here otherwise nothing much good Average taste .... Staff is not attentive Even I have once ordered chholebhature...It was also too good

Guys highly recommend this place.Here you will get very very tasty food at low coast.Must try.value for money. Entirely menu is too taste except paneer Tikka dry because they don't serve proper chutney with it.They are serving very taste less chutney.so don't try it. Although if you are not that chutney lover than it's good for you.overall nice experience.Here you got much quantity at lower coast.👍👍👍

Ordered Masala Dosa and separately ordered Plain Curd worth 40/-. I was shocked to see the quantity of curd which was hardly two spoons. The taste was sour. I called up owner Vinod Govindan and according to him, this is the quantity he give for 40/-!!!! Wrt Sour taste, simple excuse of Heat. He sounded so arrogant that he is okay to loose a permanent customer like me. This is because he is having huge customer offline and on Zomato also. Such a rude behaviour.

I ordered fixed punjabi thali from Surya Prakash restaurant today evening at 07:00. First i would like to talk about delivery boy Whose full name is Parth Kumar Makwana, He was a very rude boy he doesn't know how to talk to elders. I have never seen such a rude delivery boy like him. Now come to the food, Everything was fine but the paneer was raw & I had ordered 4 tawa roti but instead of tawa roti, 3 tandoori roti came out. I won't make the mistake of eating this restaurant food again. Very disappointed!!! Give a job to an educated cultured delivery boy first, then fix the food, that's it.

I ordered paneer tofani from swiggy. quality of paneer was 3rd class and it was like soya paneer. They are charging 250 + amount for sabji and giving duplicate item . Please check the issue Surya Prakash team .

Taste of food is good. Quick service. Must visit if in area. Go for it. Best for lunch n dinner. Fix thali is recommended.

Taste of food is good but on sunny day you can feel quite heat. And sometimes problem in parking four wheeler

I'm sorry to say but they Doesn't follows their Legacy. Once Suryaprakash was famous for their South Indian dishes in Vadodara. Tried their South Indian food but batter (khiru) got tart (khatta) because of over Fermentation, yes that was time of summer but they have to take care of that. Dosa and Uttapam are not at all eatable. Dal or Rasam was very salty...by the way I visited place on 17.05.23.

Ordered punjabi thali and it was AWFUL. Paneer sabzi is just red chilli with onion paste. Tandoori roti very hard to chew. Owner doesn't seem to take review and didn't have feedback book too. Never going back.

The place used to be excellent for South Indian food but lately I have noticed a steep decline in taste and quality. Also, the owner is unaware of the cats roaming in the restauran which is very disconcerting while having food. They badly need to improve upon the quality of food they serve. They used to be so good a few years back. Wonder what went wrong?

Situated amid heart of Vadodara, just beside few shops from Raopura Tower, this old style classic restaurant is worth visit for south Indian food lovers. Nice idli, bada, sambar and dosa. Alternative foods, thali, punjabi dishes etc are also provided here but I've not tested. South items are so tasty especially Dahi Vada and idli-Vada-sambar. A must visit place.

Good Food, Enjoyed punjabi fix lunch here. Was much and far better than other punjabi fix thalis. Enough quantity of food. Only sitting arrangement was not satisfied, but apart from that food is reliable.

Such a great food! Food service is super fast and most important thing is that the place is budget friendly.
