Effotel by Sayaji Vadodara ❤️ I recently visited this amazing hotel in Vadodara and had a pretty good experience. They have some really great rooms which are very spacious and comfortable. The Food served at the Kala Ghoda Restaurant is delicious. They also have a Gym for exercise lovers. I definitely recommend this hotel to people visiting Vadodara.

Feeling nostalgic! Sayaji has changed a lot over the last 25 years, obviously for the better though! The experience at KalaGhoda was simply amazing and the food is uniquely tasty and finger licking good. The buffet spread had touch of Chinese, Continental and North Indian dishes along with the variety of Salad and Soups! Although I was bit disappointed for the ambience as it was not unique in way the Baroda is typically known for! The city of Art and Culture. They could have done little better. The temperature was not maintained in the restaurant and I was literally sweating while enjoying the lunch. They may have realised my situation later on and switched on the AC. Recommended for lunch and dinner to all.

This is very good hotel with fresh ambiance in rooms. Room size is not big but looks good by interior. Buffet was on budget and breakfast was also good. main course food quality need some improvement, however starters were very good. Housekeeping staff was very polite. Room tarrif was so reasonable.

The restaurant 'Kala Ghoda' serves some very delectable food. They serve so many varieties that you won't be able to decide what to eat and what to not, as you won't be able to eat all. They have great options for non veg lovers. The price is quite nominal for the spread that you'll get. The service is fantastic.

Nice stay for corporate customers. Place 8s calm and friendly staff. Their cafeteria is has good food at reasonable rate. Buffet is available for breakfast and dinner and good variety of food options to choose from. Stay is comfortable.

Rooms are clean and contain almost all the facilities (mini fridge and hair dryer also available). Rooms not large but pretty good enough. Food is amazingly good. Hotel is located just opposite to Sayaji Bagh (which houses zoo, museum and a train for joy ride) with outer track of about 2.5km.

Nice hotel for quick official visits. Rest access to business and transport facilities. Walking across you can access the public garden very easily. The railway station is just 3 minutes from the hotel.

Very nice hotel, with nicely done rooms and wash room with all important accessories. Very clean. Very close to Vadodara Junction Breakfast had multiple options. Taste and Quality was reasonable. The extra bed comes without bed, only mattress.

The location of the hotel is very good and reachable to the main points of the city. The restaurant at the hotel is very nice. Sufficient Variety of food recipes with great taste.

The food is top notch & at no time do you feel that local flavours have influenced it. This is great for fussy eaters. The rooms are great & the hotel being at a prime location. The only reason for deducting a star is the non availability of hot water in the afternoon.

My stay with effotel was very pleasant. All the staff from reception to restaurant were very warm and friendly. They even go a step ahead to serve the customers. Prashant and Juned from reception were quite supportive. Food quality was great. Overall a good stay.

Hotel is located in front of Kala Ghoda circle and offers great view. Rooms are recently renovated and provide decent stay experience. Service is great overall. Restaurant is placed on top floor and suffers from ventilation issue and helps you smell each and every dish without seeing it. It is simply overwhelming and can be quite irritating. Food quality is fair and buffet offers decent spread. Overall an average experience.

Room sizes are small even deluxe room are small, rest food and services are excellent and it’s approx 1km from Vadodara station and approx 5km from airport. They also provide pickup - drop services to station and airport. You will get variety of options in buffet and tasty food. Overall had a great experience here.

Amazing experience. Hotel rooms are well maintained and service was very prompt. They also provide unlimited mineral drinking water. Breakfast spread was good and in room dining was great but slightly costly for the quantity.

A very good choice for a pitstop in Baroda. We were on our way to udaipur when we decided to halt here. The location is smack in the middle of the town. Rooms are small but very neat and aesthetically arranged. And the best part is their food. Would definitely stay here if we were to visit again.

Rooms was quite good co pares with others 3star hotels. Also railways station and bus station also nearer by. Room service and food quality are so good and hygienic. Property are so good. Recommended to stay here

I booked 2 rooms for 2nights, for family stay. Pros The staff and their services are really good, they even supported us well for early check in. The food is delicious and good, the restaurant staff and service is also good. The rooms are neat and clean. Overall stay and experience is very comfortable. Cons The biggest compromise I feel is the room size and it's somewhat triangular layout. I personally felt cramped and did not like it. There is no proper space or platform available for you to open your luggage bag. The bathroom is also small. Although the room should be okay for business or solo traveller.

Very good parking which is gated. Rooms were small but intelligently packed.Linen was clean. Washroom was adequately functional. At dinner they have ONLY buffet which poor as per my standards.Staff was good. But there is no one to help with luggage. I think its hotel policy.View of river from the room window. Avoid rooms beside lifts and below the restaraunt floor to escape frequent noises.Location is inside the city streets, so didnt like the location.

Thank you for gr8 hospitality. We had a best dinner event. Food quality was superb. Service was excellent, staff is really good and polite. We were 100 in group and nobody complain about anything.

I stayed in this hotel twice. First I was solo last March then second one was with my family. I love my stay here,the location was perfect and easy access to my favorite resto and other nearby tourist attractions. My family loves their breakfast buffet offering wide variety of options to suit all the tastes.The staffs was very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for and excellent and memorable stay.

Location - is perfect but the entrance to the hotel is such that you might miss it. But that's the design to accomodate parking lot. Service is very good. Rooms are spacious and cleverly built in such small plot. Do check this place, although it might be a little stretch in your budget but it's worth it.

This hotel is located near Kala Ghoda Circle in Vadodara. It's at a walkable distance from central bus stand and Vadodara Junction railway station. 1. Small yet very well laid out property. Rooms are small but the space is utilised properly. 2. Bathrooms are clean and all necessary toiletries were provided 3. AC and other electrical fixtures was working spotless. 4. Bed was comfortable and linen was also clean. 5. Buffet breakfast was not having much variety but it was good in taste. Restaurant staff service is good. Items were good in taste. 6. Check in and Check out was smooth,hardly 5 mins. 7. Room service was also fast and no reminders or frequent calling required. 8. Lot of eating options are available nearby,so eating outside is not a problem. 9. Good place to stay with family.

Had been there for the new years weekend. The rooms are nicely planned though the shape of rooms are more of triangular but nonetheless planned very well. Ample parking space, bottled water in rooms, restaurant available . Special mention to Ms . Nandini @ the restaurant, we being jain, had made a request for food items which she made sure to server us during breakfast throughout our stay. The staff is helpful and courteous. The hotel is near from railway station and bus depot. I would recommend to stay over here for business trip or family vacation.

Good rooms to stay, fully covered with carpet good for kids. Room size is good. Location is near to Sayaji baug and easily reachable. It has got good amount of car parking. Food quality is too good.

The location of the property is on prime location, very near to Kala ghoda circle. The hotel used space at its optimum with ample parking in limited area. Rooms are good and spacious. I booked premium room. Food is okay. Highly recommended for families, one of the best budget hotels with premium experience. Courteous staff

Checkin : Smooth with a smile. Room: Small for what you pay in Vadodara. Was offered 401, 402 which I later understood to be smallest rooms of the hotel. Cleanliness: Excellent Room service : Fast and efficient, however cost of room service and overall food is way to expensive for no reasons. Few very good and cheaper options available outside hotel. Staff: good and efficient. The staff helping me put luggage in the car denied tip and I highly appreciate this. Overall: 4 stars 1 star less because of small room (for what I paid) and expensive food

Property is decent and rooms are functional. Only limitation was the small and compact room size, though it is ok for the price. Wash basin platform orientation was not sloped well and water accumulates there. Bathroom amenities are limited but available on request. My room had a dental kit without toothpaste. Did bring to their notice and they were apologetic. Food taste was very good. Only thing is that for dinner, only buffet is in offer and no a la carte menu available. Priced at Rs.656 incl. Taxes. The place was very noisy and chaotic and I couldn't have food peacefully which was a severe put off. Kids were running all over the place and picking buffet food items at will and putting it back in the buffet vessels. Neither the parents nor hotel staff had any control on this.

Don't go by the external look of the hotel building. From inside it has been perfectly designed for making your stay most comfortable. Rooms , although small but have been designed taking care of all the things which you may need. We got an upgrade to a suite and we were absolutely surprised to see the way room was designed in the given small space yet all the comforts were available. A recommended hotel for business stay or a family stay for couple of nights. Food as usual Sayaji style nice and tasty, breakfast good enough to take a quick bite. Parking limited space but available. Absolutely in city centre. Very much impressed as always with my stay here for 2-3 times.

It was nice experience staying at this hotel with my wife. Rooms are little congested but facilities are good. Internet was good. There was some water dropping in our room. I complained and they immediately changed our room and provided upgraded Suit room for free. What I dislike was that they have fix buffet lunch and dinner menu in their restaurant. No "A la carté" in restaurant. But you can order individual items in room. Breakfast varieties are good. Overall it was nice. I may book this hotel again for my next visit.

Wonderful hotel by the Sayaji Group, located in Vadodara/ Baroda, Gujarat. The rooms are all well maintained with amenities all present in the rooms. The staff all well behaved, groomed and deft in their respective roles. The room service is prompt and flawless. The attached resturant on the 7th floor is a remarkable hangout. The food is excellent, though a bit expensive. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner all is available and quite sensibly priced... Wheel chair accessible parking and access to the reception is both available as the lift goes down to -1 level. In totally a very good hotels for the corporates and family travellers.... Enjoy...

The Buffet section at Effotel by Sayaji has a new look and it is quite pleasant. I had visit it earlier more than about 7-8 years back. Sayaji of course has a very good food taste. The service is OK. All in all a good place to be in but nothing exceptional.

1. Room is very small but managed and organized well with all basic amenities. 2. Lift is old type and too much compact. Made for 2 person only 3. Parking is specious but no one available to guide you 4. Food quality is worst Overall stay is good but you can find better hotel with this rates.
