Very good hotel and hotel staff are very supportive, Have so many good experience in 10days of residence when relocating in new city from Mumbai. I also meet to Actor Sharman Joshi Ji first time here only during lunch.

I never had worst experience than this in any other hotel. The room was stinking with Cigarette smell and when informed to the reception, they were told that this is the only room available. While checking in, no proper answer will be given to ur questions . Very bad and rude behavior of the staff. The person at reception need to learn how the service industry works. I will never check into this hotel again..

The food was very poor and the service was very bad. We had come there for a function, but such service would be useless. We didn't even think about staying at the hotel.

Overall its a very economical and well located property. The food is good. Buffet breakfast comes complimentary with room tariff. The staff is well trained and well behaved. Service is a bit slow though. Pricing is on the higher side for foods.

We did our son's thread ceremony in one of their banquets. From the start of the planning till final execution, Mr. Ravi, the owner gave more than 100% support in everything. He is a pleasure to talk to and extremely hospitable. On the day of the occasion, the services of the decorator were prompt. The food service was great too. All the staff were very hospitable and responsive. The only negative was that some of the food items turned out to be too spicy for general liking. It would have been really perfect if that didn't happen. Overall, we were extremely happy with our decision and recommend the place for events that needs Gujarati cuisine menu.

The experience was not of a 5 star. The front desk was kind of rude. I wanted an early check in as timing of flights to and from Delhi is such, however, hotel made sure to appear as how big favor they were doing. At least 20 people checked out in front of me and i had to also check out at 5AM next morning, still I was made to sit 2.30 hours in lobby, telling that accounts team will question it. Coming to rooms, rooms are good spacious enough, consisting of all amenities. Swimming pool is small on 1st floor. Breakfast spread was normal, again not something other 5 star properties offer. Will suggest other properties if you want to get the 5 star experience.

Our stay was very comfortable, staff was very professional and friendly, reception people are quite welcoming, food was very delicious, cleanliness and everything that you'd want feom a very good stay.

Linen, curtain, towel are approx 5 year old, furniture light fitting are also so old, nothing is new here, cleaning not done as well

They humiliated me for a plate of breakfast for taking it to my room. My wife and 3 yr daughter was ill and were in weakness so i asked that i will take the breakfast to my room but they bluntly refused it for the food which was already paid in the booking . They did not consider my situation so please if you are in full of health then only go else Pm regency is also a good choice near this hotel. Inhumane and idiotic hospitality. I can't sleep all night horrible lots of mosquitoes in the room in first floor change to 4th floor then a bit relief. Room service call no response at all. Most rooms are old furniture not so clean as per rate price.

High tea at Surya has been a flagship product since 1983 and our group get together was to celebrate 35 yrs of our friendship. Service takes a little time and food quality needs to be improved. Rest is all ok.

Some good and some really worst thing here. Amenities at the hotel are good if we compare with price. Hotel is at good location as we can access railway and bus within 5-10 mins. We checked in at 2AM in night, staff who attend us was rude and arrogant. Breakfast was good as there was limited option available. Some of the items were missing and it was taking time to attend 5-10 customers.

The hotel was under construction and it disturbed my sleep heavily and I could not even sleep or talk in the room over my phone. Moreover, the staff talked rudely about the tolerance to be adjusted..would never recommend this hotel for anything. They don’t even provide dental kit.

Old name not worth three star . No renovation. Rooms pathetic especially bathrooms and no toiletries like tooth brush and all other etc which is common in all hotels. No hot kettle also. Nothing except soap. Water bottle also reused no of times with own logo.

When I checked in the place almost crowded because some kind of functions are on going there. Worst service I have ever seen in a hotel. No hygiene at all. Used Linen. I arranged a business meeting in their banquet and that was the worst experience for my clients. No service staff available. The sales manager is not at all interested to work on improvement areas. Owners needs to take a look on that. Once the meeting started, speakers were not working. It wasted the whole time. Even the starters weren't ready to serve the guests. And when you ask why it took this much time the sales manager said chef comes at this time and that time. We have booked the bonquet for the wedding ceremony of my friend. It is a spacious bonquet suitable for 100-200 people, we had lunch which had punjabi cuisines with appropriate taste and hygiene. Ambience and polite professional staff makes your experience unforgettable. They accept all kind of payments cash and online. (Online is preferred.)

Centrally located but hotel is not upto date and there is a old furniture smell in rooms and restaurants also, they really need maintaince for the hotel overall the rooms are clean and staff was good.

We went there for a dinner food quality is ok and service wise very very poor, they don't have proper management in Gujarati thali restaurant, very limited staff with no proper training, the first roti came after almost 10 min. Butter milk never came on the table untill we ask after finishing food, Surya is a well knowing brand in Vadodara and the service was below standard, food quality is ok as we had a offer buy one get one free, I am not expecting something higher side. Restaurant manager is very helpful person but I found some staff with rude behavior, I suggest management to change this restaurant in to cafe, they might get a good business as there are not many people like their thali now a days

Good rooms, very good food, excellent service and a very co-operating and accommodating Management. Recently had my daughter's engagement at the hotel. The hotel hosted group of special child's for brunch as a part of their therapy from the therapy centre. The staffs were dealing very kindly and politely. My daughter was also there in the group. Very much appreciated the efforts the hotel staff for hosting such small kids. Thank you .

They lack a lot of things.Firstly water bottles were served of 200 ml to all the guest and all were refilled none were sealed.The service was pathetic.The way of serving was as though we were here to eat free food.The manager was asked for a tissue to clean my hand he placed a bundle to tissues on my hand .May be he thought I will want some for home.The plates were oily and had moisture on it.The pickles and chutney kept on table were dried up and the container may not have been cleaned for months. One star given as food taste was average otherwise it's a waste all below average.
