The front desk staff as well as restaurant staff are very nice and helpful and this made a pleasant stay. They even went to the extent of informing us once dinner was ready as we had pre-booked it. Service was outstanding and the food was good. The place is located in a crowded area near the train station and parking is an issue but they have an arrangement with the mall and the valet does the parking for you. The breakfast was also good. They also serve non-veg food as part of the lunch and dinner and breakfast (not available on the counter but served when requested). Would definitely recommend to stay at this hotel.

The hotel is located next to the railway station so whosoever is planning to stay here should brace themselves to hear train’s noise every now and then. Besides that, the rooms are a bit small and not well kept which makes the overall experience very poor. Parking space: Also they do not have any parking in their premises, because of which you have to go downstairs to bus depot next door to park the car and in addition to that you cannot even wait for 2 mins if they have 2 or more cars parked as their entrance leads to entrance of two properties, this and hotel yuvraj (which btw has more parking space upfront than The Fern) Food: Their food is very poor. They serve cold tea, sweet Upma and dry idlis in the breakfast which is perfect for ruining your entire day. I am sharing some images below which clearly shows how pathetic the room is, and is definitely not worth it. I would suggest to look else where and not book this property it is the most hopeless hotel in vadodara. This place is more like a glorified OYO than a regular 3 star hotel, though oyos these days are far more superior than this one.

Rooms are quite good. service is also good. But the staff working at reception have no manner to talk or greet with the guest. They put the list of snacks in room with extra charges where some of the snacks were already missing. They didn't check all the things when we checked in the room and then when we checked out they were asking about the food which was already not there in the room. Pathetic and in disciplined attitude.

Small rooms, constant traffic and train sound heard. Beds are squakey. Loaded of mosquitoes. No pool. Buffet spread is good. Overall 4 star for food and rest is all 2 start

Interior is good but the food service is very poor. after ordering food i had wait for 45 minutes and food is also not testy. and in repeat order also take 30 minutes. my dinner and evening both got completely ruined. sorry for giving such a bad feedback but you guys really have to work on my feedback and improve your customer experience

Very decent place to organise functions and gatherings. They have rental parking free of cost in mall next door. The food, internal ambiance and everything is great for what you pay and the hotel staff is also friendly enough to help you in every situation. Fantastic decoration and the combination was awesome. A recommended place!

Very spacious room ,good restaurants, Room have central Ac. Which was not working properly in my room ,even on multiple companies I am not satisfied with the room cooling. This property is close to Railway station 5min. Walk from railway station and just next to Vadodara Bus Stand. Overall good place to stay.

It is really such a third class and worst hotel I have ever seen. The services are pathetic,the condition of lobby is shabby,room cleaning services are bad,and even you need to ask for small things like towel,soap etc. Such services in hospitality industry is really a shame

The room was quite specious. All required amenities were available. Some improvement required in cleanliness, especially inside bathroom. Location nearby to central bus station and railway station, so further connectivity vise location is good. Food - multiple options available. Taste vise ok ok.

The ambience of hotel is superb in monsoon.. Recently i have stayed in Winter green room. I arrived 2 hrs before check in time and got room. So for that 1st impression of hotel management is highly appreciable. The staff is well educated and professional even staff attendants are also supportive and helpfull .. Thanks 🙏

Location is not good. Exactly attached to bus stand and opposite to railway station. So it's noisy and entrance is very narrow and not pleasing. Food and staff is good.

It's a nice hotel in a place like vadodara , cost is reasonably good when compared to similar hotels in metro cities. Buffet is good and the customer service is also good. Room is maintained well. Nice place to stay in centre location of vadodara

Very close to railway station. Best of all, very close to Laxmi Vilas Palace, the biggest attraction in Vadodara. Good breakfast. Worth staying.

Very good infrastructure. Restaurant serves very tasty food here. But service is some what unprofessional. Staff is obedient. If they are trained properly, this hotel becomes excellent.

Reception staff are strictly following Hotel rules in my journey I found the 1st time. Non negotiable in service and extra charges for every additional request. It is not wrong but personally I found it the 1st time I have been in multiple hotels and in Fern hotel also Goa Jaipur but this type of strictness never found

I dont use the room here... just attend seminar...food is perfect...staff service perfect... when I know it's the fern... It's reflecting in my mind the perfect hotel.

The staff here is very Polite and Supportive. Always ready to help you. Very close to Railway station and Airport too. The Food is really good whether it be a Buffet or Ala carte, you dont have hunt somewhere out. Thanks for making my stay comfortable. Keep up the Good Service 🙂

The only saving grace is the location. Rooms don't have sound proof windows so you will keep hearing train horns throughout the night. Breakfast spread is good and the a-la-carte menu is also very good. Their food section will bring a smile on your face ! Otherwise the hotel has only one elevator. Our non smoking room stunk of cigarette smoke ! AC controls are weird and the fan speed doesn't change! They should have more cable TV channels !!

Just awesome stay.. room are super..food is good. It doesn't have Swimming pool or any other club facilities. They have got covered parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Located next to bus stand and opposite railway station so a bit noisy.

The rooms were decently maintained and food quality is fine as well. The place is close to the railway station which is an added advantage. However, did see bit of a rude attitude by one staff member during breakfast.

Very congested in terms of location, room size, ventilation, fire exit etc. Staff was very courteous and cooperative and helpful. No value for money. Booked considering Fern Ecotel which is far better with a little extra cost. No feeling of the fern was there.

Rooms are clean but small. Food is very average and not worth at all. You atleast expect some good food when you are paying 3.5k for a night stay. The good part is close proximity to the station both rail and bus.

Front desk staff were good. Room windows did not close properly and you could hear outside road noise. Limited breakfast spread and not worth 300 rupees. Housekeeping staff cleaned the room well. I will not recommend to stay here unless you need to be close to the station.

I always had stayed in Fern Hotels on my business trips but this one is the worst one I have ever stayed at. Very unhygienic rooms and rooms are so small for this price range. The check in time is the main issue here. I had to wait around 2 hours for one Room. which could have been arranged so easily in 30 minutes max (because I saw so many guest checking out by that time). Ordering food here was another mistake I did.

The hotel is clean but the kitchen closes at 1045 pm. They won’t even provide a sandwich after that. Usually all good hotels have a midnight menu or some options available for midnight. It was quite disappointing to have no options.

My Google Review # 000251. Booked for the regular Fern. But somewhere my Travel Desk mistook it for this Fern location. The only and the best thing about this property is its proximity to the bus station. It is a 24x7 hustle bustle centre and you can get to this location by any mode of transport. I had driven down from Mumbai. so, parking the car here was uncomfortable as they had limited on-hotel parking slots. Maybe there are other places where they accommodate your cars. The service was good or should I say typical Fern-like. Have been staying in their numerous outlets and what is unique and common in all properties is their simple service with a simple smile. Tariff is a run-down and suits the setup of this property. Looks like Fern acquired this one to expand their own base. The rooms are clean, though not very spacious. As I mentioned earlier, the location is the priority. Your next transport is just hop-skip and jump from here. The food quality was good and the service in the breakfast area was polite and they ensured to serve you properly. The variety in the buffet included the ethic Gujarati dishes as well as the ever-green South Indian Idlis. So, you will come out the restaurant stomach-full for sure. Worth a stay. Worth a visit. The hotel started as a disappointment woth their food ( the chef served raw tomatoes chutney with idli) and the platter for buffet was really not upto the mark. On top of that the hotel wasnt well kept with wobbly tables and rusted chairs. But by the end of my 4 day stay I actually liked the hotel only because of their proactiveness to tackle customer feedback and turn things around. The staff was cooperative and friendly which really helped us ease our stay. Thank you fern residency for having us

Nice hotel, walkable distance from Vadodra Railway Station. Nice rooms, good for business trips, and stay with family. If you travel through the railway, it is an excellent hotel to stay.

It’s an amazing place at a great location with all transport near by . Whatever food we could try is simply outstanding and the services are at par with industry standards. We stayed here for 2 nights and the experience was sublime, we just felt at home with the hospitality extended to us.
