Rooms are good. Staff is polite and helpful. It’s near to railway station so you will get rickshaw easily here. Must try their sweets in sweet shop next to hotel.

Good hotel for business travellers. The hotel Ambassador is located near to Vadodara Railway station. It is 5 minutes walk from Vadodara Railway Station. They serve breakfast with tea / coffee. They have room service where they serve both veg and non veg food. The rooms are neat and tidy. The staff is courteous.

Vadodara has an array of hotels for different price points. I was travelling solo this time and did not have stringent criteria, something you have while you travel with family. This time, I had the following criteria in my mind for choosing a hotel: 1) Proximity to the railway station 2) Hygiene and cleanliness of the premises 3) Decent food at the property 4) Good WiFi connection 5) Budget stay within the range of 1.2-1.8k per night Considering the above points, I chose Hotel Ambassador still being in dilemma about my decision. As my stay was for 5 days, I initially booked for only 2 days and decided that I would shift if I was dissatisfied with the property. To my surprise, Hotel Ambassador ticked all the boxes. I called the hotel and made the booking instead of any travel website. This ensured that I get 24 hour check in/check out facility. I chose Deluxe room which had complimentary breakfast. The room was very clean and the washroom did not have any foul smell or stains. Here are the points which impressed me and was unexpected for me at a budget property: 1) Decent complimentary breakfast option in veg and non veg. It may not be a huge spread but it was enough for me to choose different options for 5 days 2) Daily cleaning of rooms, bathrooms and changing of bedsheets 3) Superb internet speed. This forced me to not look for any other hotel since I was skeptical if I would get similar speed in other property 4) Spacious room without any issue of pests or insects 5) Courteous staff who were very mindful of my food and also helped me if I had to choose anything customized for meals 6) Decent menu for the meals. The options were great and they had every all the items available from the menu. Often at budget hotels, you hardly get what you see in the menu. 7) Decent food taste. The food was a hit and a miss. I understand that the restaurant food is bound to be oily and spicy and that was fine for me. But I did not suffer upset stomach during my 5 day stay. They definitely need to improve their Chinese food taste as the fried rice and noodles felt mushy and less dry. 8) Very courteous behavior from the owner. You can definitely go downstairs and strike a conversation with him. 9) Finally, they have their own snacks and sweet shop at the ground floor. You can always visit and enjoy tasty snacks. The owner was honest enough to mention that Jagdish Farsan was probably the best snacks shop in Vadodara instead of praising their own shop. Definitely try their caramel custard and dry fruit sweets All in all, it was a very comfortable, disturbance free stay for me.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are big and neatly maintained. Staff is very helpful and service oriented. Very near to railway station and cental bus stand. Only thing they lack is, there is no restaurant and they offer only room service. Foos is tasty but sligtly overpriced. I've been staying here for more than 10 years now and quite sure that there are many more like me. "SATISFIED CUSTOMERS" 😊

I must say, it's very neat and clean premises including rooms, lobby, rich look of lift. In many hotels you need to convey that tv is not working/ac is not cooling. But at this place you need not have to ask for such things. Near to Railway station/ Bus stand. Must go for this.

It was a great experience to stay here. One of the best hotel which I have ever stayed. Fully spacious room and wash room. Very much comfortable.very nice and good staff. They are very polite. They know how to behave how to talk. Rooms and washrooms are very much clean. Super executive room is just for 2300/- INR with all taxes. I stayed here for 10 days room no. 306.

The rooms of this hotel are actually good. They do use some technology in order to make it seem less to ask for service. The only thing I would recommend to them to improve on is the toilets.

Hotel is very conveniently located. Close to the railway station as well as Kala Ghoda bus stop. Room service is really good. Food is also ok and quite affordable. Hotel has 24 hours check in which was very convenient. Laundry service was also very useful. The sweet shop run by the hotel (next to the main building) is worth checking out. Staff were very cooperative and understanding.

It was a nice stay. Rooms are spacious, life is very nice. Cleanliness was good, coperative staff. Very near to Baroda junction railway station. Exit from station, go second left and then right turn hardly 100 mts. Total 5 min walking distance from station.

I travel lot for work purposes and stayed in many hotels.I stayed there for one night. Room interior was ok and bathroom was not as per amount charged but had lot of problems with room service and room service staff behaviour. Personally I will not suggest staying there as there are lot of other options available in that perticular area.
