Best place to enjoy vegetarian food. Good ambiance with different types of sitting facilities available like sofa, round table etc. Good starter varieties and range of vegetarian food options available. Good place to enjoy food with family and friends. Happy to be at Hocco kitchen

My all the time go to restaurant is Havmor Sayajigunj. I visit this place so often the staff now knows me. I have a soft corner in my stomach for khowsuey chicken soup of havmor. For 2 people bill can go upto 1200 to 1500 but I really like the taste of food here so it is worth.

I have visited havmor restaurant for more than 10 times. I really like the taste of food and ice cream is my favorite in havmor. Must try chocolate chip ice cream.

Was in search for good non vegetarian food options in gujarat and visited this place. Do try the chicken biryani and chicken tandoori:P

Great place to eat. Very hygienic and great ambiance. Have a variety of food available. We really enjoyed it.

Hocco kitchen or popularly called Havmor Sayajigunj is one of the oldest outlet of this chain, maybe the first one. It is the only outlet amongst the chain serving non vegetarian food. So, when you visit the place you have to specifically ask for the non vegetarian menu specially for the unlimited meals. Havmor Sayajigunj brings back a lot of nostalgia and fond childhood memories. The ambience is regularly upgraded and always pleasant. Cooling is also perfect. Service maybe a bit relaxed maybe because of the old and loyal staff still working there. Food is amazing, specially the non vegetarian dishes. The 'must try' dish is Boneless butter chicken. They have the best butter chicken in Baroda, or probably the best in the world. Their menu claims that if they don't start serving within 10 mins of ordering the unlimited menu then the meals would be free. However, this didn't happen even though our order started late and even after our claim it was informed to us that it is old scheme and it is not prevelant anymore. This is the only reason for deduction of 1 star from their rating.

Food was totally ok. As a surati I didn’t like it. There was no salt. Service was good though and atmosphere was good too. Had lasagna, it was sweet a little. Tiranga veg sabji was edible still salt was less. Karaari roti was very good. Sizzling brownie was good, found brownie hard. 😀 So in food I don’t find anything good.

It was nice, clean, comfortable place. Hygiene and quality of food was very nice. As expected from havmore.

A fine restaurant with 50+ years of passion exhibited for food, wide choices, simple but executed with excellence! Visited by many famous Indian celebrities. Given the age at this restaurant, perhaps the decor and ambience could use a refresh...but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. The Lassis and Ice Creams here are one of a kind, a definite must try!

Lovely food, most wonderful taste, have been going to Havmor at Sayajigunj since the last 30+ years and it still stands strong as the best Punjabi and continental restaurant ever 👍👍👍

Baked chicken lasagna was spoilt. I vomitted after eating one bite of it. It was literally stinking. The chicken pieces were rotten, there was no taste and they charge 500 for it. Never going back to this place.

Service was fast and the staff was able to accommodate us for a quick dinner just before closing. The chicken kadai was spicy as expected and extremely delicious!

The service was super amazing. I was very impressed. Food has always been superior at hocco so it definitely passed the expectations.

The place is quite dated but we'll maintained. The ambience was nice and staff was courteous. We ordered chicken soup, kadhai chicken, chana masala, mixed veg and roti. The preparations were quite good. Fish fingers and masala papad in starters were also well balanced.

I take away laccha Paratha but quality of that parathas is pathetic, not properly backed from center.. it's like kaccha pakka

We visited this place for dinner and was not very happy with the place. Food was OK and nothing extra ordinary. Prices are exorbitant. Fresh Lime Soda for Rs 178!!!! This is a rip off. Upon entering the restaurant, I was asked non veg I said yes and hence was handed the non veg menu only. No drinks menu was given or the menu with the breads or veg appetisers. We saw the other table order a dish that looked interesting and so we asked and ordered the same which was the kurkuri roomali. The fish fingers in menu showed with tartar sauce but we felt that it was raita. Also the butter chicken was spicy and usually it is not that spicy in other places we have had. Upon giving feedback the guy said that I could have changed it but we told him that he shud have mentioned its spicy as that not the case generally. Won't really recommend the place definitely not worth the price. Paid around 2200 for only 3 dishes and could have had a buffet at this price. You can give it a miss.

I ordered crunchy munchy, cassata and choco treat. Cassata is excellent, crunchy munchy is ok. but, chocolate treat is feels little bitter, I didn't get what I expected. It look amazing but not in taste.

Staff is very nice, food quality is so so. We ordered handi biryani but it was teste like frid rice wirh vegetables , from any corner it was not taste like biryani Charging tremendous for mineral water bottle of 1 ltr 60 rs and glass of buttermilk 150 rs

One of those nice places that you stumble upon. I had a Butter chicken craving one day and stumbled upon this place. We were escorted to a nice table and realised the menu is actually pretty nice. Ordered some butter chicken with my buddies and some nice butter naan. I loved the food and their service. There also is a nice variety of desserts to chase down that meal so it’s a nice overall

This was a very old joint and the people of Vadodara could not resist the taste of Havmor resturant be it early morning or late night. I was visiting that place after nearly a decade and found it to be as good as before and the staff equally courteous and helpful. We tasted cold coffee, sandwich and pasta. Only a small minus is that the maintenance of the walls needed more attention.

Delicious food and amazing staff hospitality:) ... completely satisfied...price is bit on a higher side but the taste makes sure the money you are paying for is worth it .. We had tried Punjabi samosa, chana puri , aloo Paratha, vegetable raita and vegetables butter pulav...and i must say everything we had ordered was spot on.... only aloo Paratha was OK in taste nothing extraordinary in that but butter pulav and chana puri was soo delicious. Talking about Punjabi samosa it was also good it taste somewhat like normal samosa with bit of extra Veggies in it . Then we tried pineapple icecream ( i never heard of pineapple icecream so i tried it) and guess what is was also very delicious.....price is for sure is expensive but you can visit for a good dining experience. The Hocco Kitchen aka Havmor is a Pride. A Brand. Many years of serving their customers who keep coming back.... However, it doesn't mean that one should shoot prices so high that they can't justify compared to equal and deserving competitions as well. We dined and we know that the prices will not get us back again. Fresh lime soda sweet - 180rs ...??? I need not say more. You can make out how the other prices could be. My advice - see them online first and decide first. Secondly, the Butter Chicken (549rs!!!) was spicy for a Butter Chicken dish. The feedback was taken with a point conveyed to us that it is made to their majority customers taste. However they fail to realise that you can't change the authenticity of a delicasy but instead, you may do so only for certain cases to few individuals. That too who would want to change the essense of a dish in the first place? Butter Chicken is never spicy by default. Period. Ambiance is fine and normal. But Value for money is a complete No..Havmor...Have No More...Not anymore.. unfortunately..

Family favorite place for late night ice cream... food is good, we've been more frequent here for late night ice cream since it was Havmor... must try coffee ice cream here... enough parking here at night after 9:30 pm. Anything earlier is a challenge.

Food taste is average and is not justified for elevated prices. Nice and cozy atmosphere. Services, they need to improve a lot. I asked my Dish not to be spicy however my message was not conveyed to chef and the dish landed with ample spices. Parking is not available and if found some space anyhow, it would be at owners risk.

Wonderful food but the service could be a bit more hospitable and a bit faster since it took over 30-45mins for the main course to be prepared even though we got our starters right away and the restaurant was not even half full.

Worst ever experience of hocco kitchen, not expected this quality of food. We ordered smoked bbq pizza and it was nothing like a pizza. The taste was so bad that you can't swallow the bite and we hardly managed to finish it. Prefer going to some other place.

As we are dessert lover, what we are getting is best from so many years, chocolate+ anything you want to try 😋

I have come for the 1st time to 1994 kitchen however i had visited havmor many times . I found the prices of the food way to higher than any normal multicuisine restuarant would serve! So i ordered a baked lasagna and 2 chole pure which costed me Rs. 1400 Lasgana was different in terms of shape as well the qty was very less Cole puri was good👍 Also the taste of their regular water was bit different! So overall the experience was okay

Nice place for veg and non veg. Little expensive and quantity is also less but taste is good. Loved starters and dessert.

Most important recipe "Chana Puri" was not available on the day of my visit. Ambience was fine with light music. Thick Margherita Pizza was worth getting it. Service was a bit slow.

Third class restaurant third class service and low quality food being served at high prices. The good reviews are paid for by providing complaining customers with free desserts.

Most of the items in the menu was not available (burger,cake etc). After ordering waited for 30mins in between starter and main course. Also, When main course came, found a alive COCKROACH moving in the salad. Pathetic service, not worth the cost.

My stomach didn't feel quite good after the food here. The older manager was much better, friendly and professional. This manager should be taught some manners. They also charged us 30 rupees extra. Waiters are very sweet. Food was not bad, but I've had better here earlier.
