Had a great experience with food, very unique experience with the food. I loved the egg curry thali either rice bhakhari and white rice. Place is bit interior from the road and google might confuse you. They have put a sign board on the road where you need to take left and immediate right. Follow the road till dead and enter into the gate you will find this place.

A newly recreated wada special for gavran food. Let me explain why 3 stars. 1. Taste – lot of khada masala could feel the heat while swallowing every bite. Not really gavran the food was very average. The pieces were really tiny, I know the difference between gavran chicken and broiler in hotel line terms (kawa murgi/kawa tandoor which measures 800gm more or less). Alni Soup was ok and good quantity. 2. Ambience is good well made gives a feel of real wada to an extent. Ample of parking. Very spacious. 3. Service- Very slow and nonprofessional staff. On a busy day like Sunday where every restaurant is ready with their specials, they took more half hour to serve basic food. There was no rush too u can see it in pictures. So, while you are in lonavala and want to have gavran food would suggest give them some more time and read more reviews and then visit. While leaving I asked staff there why is there so less staff have, they left recently or have u not hired new, the reply was they left recently. Over all only 2 adult waiters and small boy to assist them. I guess the owner was too helping the them service the tables. Kitchen has windows opening to the dinning area all smoke was coming out and we could feel the chilli in the air.

The best food I had at a Dhaba in a long long time. You would want to clean the plate off all the food. It’s so deliciously prepared. That too at a quiet reasonable price - probably even a bit cheaper than others in the area. The Dhaba is a bit off-road and the approach road is not even proper (as of 2022). So you might wonder if you’re on the right track. But let it not confuse or discourage you from exploring the awesome food here. The interiors as well as the exterior design in the form of a typical Maratha castle adds to the ambience. Overall, this place has now been saved to my favourite locations that I’ll come back to whenever I’m on this route.

This hotel is one of best ambiance in town. Very specious, authentic traditional vibe, interior extremely tastefully done. It has ample of veg nonveg options. Their Thalis are all inclusive tasty food. Service is good and quick enough. We had one non veg thali , one veg ghalu , chicken kolhapuri with Bajra Bhakri, Rice Bhakri, and good thing you get here Indrayani rice, very flavourful and tasty. Must visit place at least once.

It is an awesome place for non-vegetarians as well as vegitarians. I had mutton thali which is so good and enough for two people. Me and my husband could not finish one thali. Don't miss it, must go for it 👍👌

The place is good. You can shoot your own events or cinematic films at extra cost. But guests are allowed to dine in during ongoing shoots. Food is good. However, a drawback is the prominent banner at the entrance, obscuring the fort’s main aesthetic, which is unfortunate. Fortunately, parking facilities are available.

Nice place for dinner. Vegitarian and non-vegetarian you are welcome here. Environment is awesome. It placed quite outside from main road, it is hard to find way, parking area are huge. One thing I don't like is the plywood floor. Because it is family restaurant and their is family there is always kids so they playing, jumping around causes very loudly, so it's very disturbing.

Amazing place to have proper meal (veg/non veg) dhaba style. This place is in lonavala on the highway(a little off the road). The ambiance, food, service everything is awesome. Service is quick. The whole property is decorated in Marathi theme and gives a good feel. Overall a must try when at Lonavala.

This place truly deserves all the high accolades. What is exactly like a diamond hidden within a coal mine!!! The place is located just at the start of Lonavala if you are visiting from Pune. While the access road is not a great one you will soon lose the negative feeling the moment you look at the lavish big entry. The royal feeling one gets while entering the premises is truly fantastic. To top things up all this place gives you the great feeling like you're living in the times of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The mesmerizing ambience along with the show pieces and artefacts will definitely make you think that you have entered the error of Shivaji Maharaj. Coming to the point of food, it is really great and delicious. The service we received was really nice (a surprise has it was a weekend). In the times when everybody is in a hurry and then there is limited space anywhere and everywhere this place for sure stands out tall amongst its competitors. It is a must visit if you are in or around Pune or Mumbai.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Ranwara, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Let's start with the food. I was genuinely disappointed by the lack of flavor in the chicken thali and veg thali I ordered. The flavors were muted, and it lacked the authentic taste I had hoped for. It was quite disheartening, especially considering the restaurant's reviews. Moreover, the prices at Ranwara were surprisingly high for the quality of food offered. It left me feeling like I had overpaid for an underwhelming meal. On a positive note, the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, with a tastefully designed interior that exuded a sense of sophistication. However, the ambiance alone cannot compensate for the lack of taste in the food and the steep prices.

I think owner has spent all his money only on Ambiance of d hotel , when you enter it's v.royal , but. Food quality and taste sucks i tried mutton thali , mutton was half cooked , veg thal all were tasteless and chapati was bitter , puranpholi was worst. Would recommend this plz to anyone if you are a food lover.

Great place, great ambience and very good servie. F&B service staff Rahul Gaikwad was extremely attentive to our requirements and for the first time ever, when we mentioned we wanted a thick gravy as vs a watery one the restaurant provided, he came with a taster portion of gravy and asked if the thickness was enough. Never have we ever had someone come and have us taste / feel thickness of gravy for our approval. Foodwise, we ordered prawn tandoori, lollipop chicken for starters and chicken thaali, jeera pilaf & wheat rotis which were all good. Brilliant service, brilliant food, can't ask for more!! 😃

What a beautiful place. It’s extremely spacious Wada with Zumbar , few old style zula , good seating arrangement. When you enter the Wada , you can look at the overall Wada and feel that you are going to have wonderful experience. Food is good , we’re tried thaali . It is more than ample for one person . Surprisingly, it’s reasonable compared to other near by popular hotel. Service is slow but it is expected at such place. It’s good thing though , it gives you ample time to explore, click very good photo with family. Staff was courteous .

First thing first - food is really good. The place is understaffed. But they try their best, which is appreciated. Ambience could be better since most people sit idle occupying seats without ordering food. This needs to be taken care. Another thing is menu card is diverse but it needs to be properly organized. Best part is their kitchen isn't closed after 3pm.

I had visited this amazing place for lunch on November 22, 2023. Fortunately, it wasn't too crowded during my visit. The location might be a bit tricky to find, and the road leading to the restaurant isn't in the best condition. However, once you reach the entrance, the ambiance is simply incredible. The service was commendable, and although the food was of good quality, it leaned towards the spicier side. We tried the Chicken Masala (very spicy), deep-fried Bombil Fry, Bombil Curry, Bhakari - Jwari (soft and fresh), Chapati (not recommended), Indrayani Rice, Daal Fry (a must-have with rice), and Solkadhi (personally, I didn't like the sweet taste of Solkadhi). Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its pleasant ambiance and good food. Note - The restaurant might not be wheelchair accessible as there are 4-5 steps one needs to climb to enter.

I LOVED every bit of chicken thaali. Spicy yet flavorful. Thrilling and soulful. Also enjoyed pakoda with shezwan chutney. Heavenly. Also liked cheese masala papad. Amazing seating and ancient vibe to the place. We sat on the jhoola as well.

Absolutely perfect place for having authentic maharashtrian food. Very very reasonable. Service was excellent 👌. It'll give you an ambience of having food in a fort. Decoration was soo good. Food tastes like yammy. Kids enjoyed a lot in thus place. They had a great experience.

I recently dined at this hotel and tried their Non-Veg Maharashtrian Thali, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The thali included a variety of dishes that showcased the rich and diverse flavors of Maharashtrian cuisine. The bhakri, a traditional Maharashtrian flatbread, was soft and served piping hot. Sol kadhi was not that proper but mutton sukha and curry was perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The staff was courteous, and the ambiance was pleasant. Overall, I highly recommend trying the Non-Veg Maharashtrian Thali at this hotel for an authentic taste of Maharashtra's culinary heritage. The Mutton Thali here is generously portioned, making it a satisfying meal for two people. It's a great choice if you're looking for a hearty and shareable dish The washroom was disappointingly unhygienic and poorly maintained. There was no handwash available, highlighting a lack of consideration for basic cleanliness standards. Improvement in restroom conditions is much needed.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ranwara Dhaba for the second time, and while my experience was largely enjoyable, there were a few aspects that differed from my first visit. This time, my companions and I opted for the mutton thali, a dish we had savored during our previous visit. On this visit, the mutton thali that we ordered seemed to be spicier than I remembered. One of the standout features of Ranwara Dhaba is its enchanting ambiance.Overall good experience..
