Pilgrims have a high auspicious value if we climb Tirumala hills through stairs by walk and many of the devotees climb the hills by barefoot. This side of the hill has 3550 total steps which might take you around 4 to 6 hours depending on the stamina of the person. You get plenty of stores in between to quench your thirst and multiple munching opportunities.

This is the first and major milestone on your alipiri route. The toughest part of the climb is completed here. Next part is not that much steep.

Alot of shops and restaurants are there.. You can take rest here for a while, eat anything and then resume for climb.. There are toilets, shops all along the steps until anjaneya swamy temple
