It's a bikers favourite route. The road is well maintained and banked well. U can do the entire 70 Hairpins in less than 25 mins if you go on a weekday. There are tea stalls on the top.

I reviewing after 2 days stayed in kolli hills with 7 member of my family, forsy of all in weekend in Tamilnadu every hill station are filled with crowd except kolli hills, Budget friendly trip Lovable & caretaking human being rich hill station. gorgeous spot, I travelled by bus due to scare 😱 of 70 hairpin bends drive by 🚗, from Chennai morning 0600 hrs bus to salem, it's reached by 1200 hrs, then catch a bus to namakkal. We had our lunch in namakkal. Then Around 1400 hrs we seated in govt bus to kolli hills, finally we reached kolli hills Around 1730 hrs. I u confidence in ur mountain driving skills then pls drive with ur car, Much more bike riders are coming here from Chennai & bangalore also. We stayed in Akshaya residency in semmedu, pleasant stay with complimentary breakfast. We paid 8k for our stayed, fully worthy. Had our dinner in varunan restaurant in semmedu, Ihighly suggest u for ur meals . Cheap & best restaurant. Rent a cab eeco for site seeing, we went to arapaleshwar temple, masilla falls, ettukai Amman temple, namma falls, park with boat house and seeku parai view point. We denied agaya Ganga water falls which is the best falls in kolli, due to 1200 steep steps to reach. Excellent place for love the nature, pls keep clean the hill station it's our responsibility, best of luck for ur journey.

70 hairpin bends... Bought all spices for a reasonable price... Not too cool, not hot either... Weather for awesome... We drove around 45 min to reach masila falls... But it was closed, if that's been intimidated b4, we wouldn't have driven that far... We got down through the other side of the hills through thammampatti which doesn't have much hairpin bends...

"Exploring the Majestic Kolli Hills " Kolli Hills, located in the Eastern Ghats mountain range of Tamil Nadu, India, is a scenic and culturally rich destination that offers breathtaking views, lush green forests, and a glimpse into the region's unique history and heritage. Geography and Climate: The Kolli Hills stretch across an area of approximately 200 square kilometers and are characterized by rugged terrain with steep slopes and valleys. The hills are formed from granite rocks and are home to several rivers, including the Palar River, which flows through the region and provides ample opportunities for boating and fishing. The climate of the Kolli Hills is generally warm and humid, with temper.

If you are a hardcore lover nature, you must pay a visit. Aagaya gangai falls is a hidden treasure of nature. Yes, it has 1196 steps. Though it is adventurous, it worths a visit. On touching the chill over flow of water, we can enjoy the true magnanimity of nature. Arappaleeshwarar temple gives you peaceful mind. During weekdays, you can enjoy the raw beauty of nature around Kolli hills. Caution: The shops may cheat you on overpriced spices stating they are selling the genuine products.
