This is not the resort you might be thinking of. I have never been to a resort like this. Please be aware of the following and I don’t recommend a long stay here, 1-3 days are enough. 1- this is a resort for family and kids. 2- no nightlife. 3- only 1 restaurants and 1 cafe 4- swimming pool are great 5- the restaurant and bar closes at 8pm After 8pm, you can’t find anything to eat or drink, it’s very quiet and isolated here. You are on top of mountains. So, it’s hard to go back to the city “it’s like camping” food delivery services don’t operate here, you can’t order food. This is a relaxing resort don’t expect more than this. I booked here for longer than 3 days and I totally regret it. This resort is expensive it’s not cheap and it really doesn’t worth it “the long stay” Honestly, with everything closes early at 8pm, it feels like a prison, I can’t believe that you can’t get food after 8pm, without having to take a trip to outside restaurants which cost around 300 “the ride”. Be prepared and don’t book here for longer than 3 days. I wish I knew this before booking. Update: The management is very nice, they allowed me to change my booking and check out 2 days earlier, and I’ll get a refund for the remaining days.

The location is quite difficult to go to especially since it's really high up a mountainous area. However, the food that they serve is really reasonably priced so for the cost to serving I'd give it a 9/10. Their pool here as well is their crowning glory since it boasts of a natural alakaline water setup straight from the mountains. Overall a great place to visit. Wait till the night time to see the spectacular view of cagayan de orors skyline. :)

Pretty remote, but great views of sea and city. Incredible pool. Good food. Too many loud dogs are allowed to congregate and bay on the premises. Cost us sleep.

The view was spectacular. Pool is great. Villa 2 has a great view. Provide your own internet. It is 40 minutes from Camp Phillips using the short route.

Worst hotel experience ever. The room is slightly clean, but you can definitely see the dirt on the tile grout. The bath glass partition has stains all over it. The toilet flush button has been adjusted and fixed but not at all properly. The small sliding cabinet door is broken. Landline phone not working, no internet, the cable box for the tv doesn't work, and sadly no front desk after 8pm. The cafe and the pool area is okay though. But you most definitely do not want to stay here overnight

Won’t be coming back here ever. Stayed here for one night to attend a friends wedding but the room completely ruined my day. I stayed in what they claim to be a superior room. The whole room and bathroom stinks. The walls have cracks in them, there’s ants and flies inside the room. The curtains are dirty and the chairs in the balcony are broken as well. There are wires left on the table, looks like there’s no effort to clean at all. The shower head was broken which they fixed after I asked them to but it’s not something that has be to asked. The whole place lacks maintenance. There is no hand wash, no hairdryer, you’re provided with only a pouch of shampoo and a soap bar which isn’t enough even if you’re staying for just a day. The wifi doesn’t work at all. I didn’t come here to be surfing web but you do need access to internet. Even the cheapest rooms I’ve stayed at provided 3 towels per person but you get only one body towel here. After bringing up all these complaints to the reception they denied to change our room. Honestly, I thought I was going to be have a good experience staying at a resort far from the city for a day but turned out to be a total waste of money and time. I will never ever come back here again and would advise others not to as well. I’ve stayed at places that cost me 1000pesos/night with way better rooms and amenities than this. This place will disappoint you.

The area is a place where you can really detach from the hustles and bustles of the city. However, the road going there is a bit tricky, which you need to be cautious of. However, when you get to the place, it will really render you relaxed. The food is okay, but I love the coffee and cakes served at Bluetail more.

Stayed for 2 nights. The positives are the views, the infinity pools, restaurant quality and value, service levels and superior room size with excellent air conditioning. Not so good mainly about the room...bathroom poor needs updating, room cleanliness average and one door of wardrobe did not open. Balcony door lock temperamental. Only one large and one small towel provided for 2 adults and extra towels must be paid for. If the small details were improved would be closer to 5 stars. Wifi a bit hit and miss throughout the resort including the room

It was a very nice experience. The water in the infinity pool is a Natural Alkaline, and it has a expectacular view of the Cagayan de Oro and its neighboor areas. The room that we got is Villa 2, and it can cater up to 15 persons as it comes with more than 1 bed and comfort room and bath rooms. It is also cold, inside and out, and you can also bring your own foos inside the Villa where you can cook and eat. The following are the only non so good that I have observed: •The Villa is a bit dusty as well as its floor when we came in. •We also observe some insects inside, and some left foods, as it seems like it was not properly cleaned. •I don't have much interactions with their staff, but the one who assisted in the entrance of the pool is not friendly, but still polite. •We tried reaching their resto but no one is answering, and we just knew that they don't have room service. Overall, I still recommend others to go their, and have a glance of the City while having fun near the nature.

Route up the mountain is challenging, cost me about p500 in fuel. Slopes vary from 15-25 degrees. Some portions are single laned. Site development was not planned properly as linkages between buildings have accident prone steps, ramps and lack railings. Beddings are clean. Mattress is just a 6 inch foam. Toilet hardware are full of scales.

The family enjoyed the stay. The place is not very well maintained but the view is amazing. The swimming pool is for everyone, guests and day tour alike. They serve coffee in three in one sachet.

pH alkaline water swimming pool with resto on the side. Better yet prepare the vehicle since the location is a bit stiff to traverse to reach the top and see the view of CDO City. NO vehicle, NO problem since they offer shuttle on a scheduled basis. ENJOY

The place is very good for family gatherings and picnics. Views are amazing since it was located at countryside. Pools are clean. Foods are a little bit expensive but delicious.

What a view! That is the first thing that caught my eye. Being in the city most of my time, its always nice to see such a scenic view. Bring your family along, for sure you will create a memory that will last forever.

The place is pretty nice; it's really built on top of a mountain peak. We spent 3D2N here. Rooms are basic but clean (with some signs of insect damage to the woodworks). Cityview room is recommended. The buffet is one of the most affordable - the pancakes and ginataang gulay were the best one's I had. The service was ok. Their management could improve their staff (non-front office/non-f&b staff)in greeting and answering the guests with more gusto / pleasing way (since most do not bother to greet or just answer/ask in a neutral tone). The resort is very accessible. If taking taxi from the city proper, just double the meter fare. Going down from the resort via taxi, the rate is P300+meter fare as of February 2023. Weekends can be crowded with day trippers. Overall a relaxing experience.

Through the years we've had the pleasure of experiencing the resort's amenities through various occasions - whether they be for weddings, for birthday parties, or simple overnight stays for leisure. What I can definitely say is that if your looking for a nice place to unwind, via swimming and spending time with the family, with an excellent view of the city, this is it.

Enjoyed the music of the trio band and their soloist. A balance of old hits and millenial. The food is good at an affordable price. The staff are accommodating and friendly as well.

They have 2 infinity pools and a really nice view from the mountain. You can bring outside food in a pool area cottage with no corkage if you don't want to order from their resto. Very kind staff as well. Cottage is P3k (non pool area) / P3.2k (pool area) for 8pax. Entrance fee is P100; if you're swimming - P300/pax.

    1. The lobby asked us to fill out their bfast coupon when we arrived. We filled out the coupon for d nxt 2 days of our stay. The nxt day, during bfast, the restaurant informed us that 1 of our orders were not available bcos they were lacking an ingredient (egg). 🤨 kami nlng nag adjust. Hnd man lng naprioritize ung mga nakastay in s mga rooms. For what use is your coupon. Wag nlng kau mag coupon. 2. 2nd day. We went to the resto to eat for bfast again. We headed to d cashier to tell them we r ready for our orders. We were waiting on our tables for past 15mins already but no food came. We went back to d cashier to ask and informed us, "wala po kau inorder." (*#@!) They were showing us their printed list, and it showed on our rooms TBA, but in fact on our 1st day we have already settled our food at their lobby. No crew even assisted us, noticed us & asked what was our order. Poor customer service. Hnd pa makipagusap ang head nila s cashier. Nilayasan pa kmi nung nagcocomplain na. 3. 3rd day of stay is the same. You will not be assisted unless you tell the cashier. I asked 1 waiter to serve us with warm water, and didn't even come back. 😂 4. The view and place is nice but the staff have no sense of service or urgency. 5. The price is even too high for a kind of service like this. Not worth it.

I stayed over night here and the viewing was so relaxing looking over Cagayan De Oro City, the swimming pool water is natural, I did really enjoy staying here with my cousin but I have to leave to go to my other trip. I will definitely come back in this place with husband. I recommended this place you will never be regretted.

Wonderful outlook & great views from high in the mountain foothills which makes the resort isolated & a big climb for the underpowered Toyota Vios (Corolla) Taxis which always seems to upset the drivers they have to drive up a big hill 😅so charge extra 🤷for driving up the foothills for 2.5 kms & incurs a moderate cost of about 1000 Pesos or $25 Australian dollars to leave & return to the resort but overall an enjoyable peaceful stay 👍

Crowded with untidy noisy people. A beautiful place abused by people who doesn't care and abide by the rules. Rubbish are just thrown anywhere specially beside the pool area. Parking is a bit short and hard tight. Food was ok, nothing to expect much.

The area is great as it overlooks the entire city but it's very far away and on a steep mountain. Only ways to access are thru private car, their shuttle service, or taxi. The rooms are neat and clean, the pool area is super fun, and the food is good.

It's been my first time in this place but I am really mesmerized by the scenery. It is located in the highest part of Bukidnon where you can see the vicinity of CDO and the coastal area. It is really a very good place to relax and enjoy.

Stayed at this lovely mountain resort for two nights and I could say that this place is highly recommended. Fabulous views and amazing Infinity pools. Excellent service from Marlynx & Rowena at Infinity Restobar. Room large with balcony but bathroom a little tired and needs updating.

Pros: -Good location, over-looking CdO city. Great view of the sea and sunset. -Coffee-lovers rejoice, a coffee shop is near the entrance. -Pools! Kids are sure to enjoy the kiddie pool. -Resto overlooking the pool, you can dine while watching the kids at the pool (disclaimer: still not to replace close adult supervision) -Peacocks everywhere. Cons: -Poor accessibility with steep elevation. A fully-occupied MPV will have some hard time climbing, esp for the last 1-2km. -Parking area. A newbie driver will have some slight difficulty parking, as parking area is somewhat small and is not a flat ground. __________ Overall a must-try for family vacation or just plain unwinding & relaxation in Cagayan de Oro city. If you have a private vehicle, going there is not a problem. Warning for the steep road though.

This is a great place to escape the city life. Situated on top of the mountain with an overlooking view of the city. You can view the sunset and it is spectacular! It was our second time to visit this place and same during my birthday week. We love the food, the scenic view. Staffs are accomodating and very tolerant with kids.
