Nice place to stop and rest a bit if you’re exploring the center of Sevilla. Shade, drinking water fountains, playgrounds. Be sure to check out the giant ficus trees.

It's amazing how much greenery there is in Sevilla. It definitely makes the scorching hot weather more bearable. All parks are really taken good care of.

Seriously, who other than Shaquille O'Neal can cut up a floor like that? Had to be like 33 degrees on such a night, a sight for sore eyes as they say :)

Oh my freaking wow the fig trees are out of this century, or the century before but the century before that even. Hundred plus years old and give out seriously vibey vibes. For the fig trees alone this garden/park was a winner for me. It's a beautiful place all round with plenty of sitting spaces, amazing architecture and an abundance of nature. It ticked all the boxes of what a city green space should provide. An oasis of tranquility in a bustling city.

14/03/2023 Excursion to Seville from the port at Cadiz. Really hot day, 100% visibility, not a cloud in the sky. Google Weather say it's 21C and I reckon that is an understatement. Decided to spend some time in some gardens and watch the world go by. Tall statue which we took photos of. Recommended.

Nice romantic walk. Actually, Jardines de Murillo's would be part of the must see icon places/monuments in Seville. I would say start at Plaza de España then walk across Prado de San Sebastian to reach Jardines de Murillo, walk by its massive and iconic fountain and then continue your walk through La Juderia's streets (the ancient Jewish quarter) taking and enjoying your time to admire Santa Cruz Sq, Agua Street, Vida Street, Doña Elvira Sq, Rodrigo Caro Street, De la Alianza Sq, Joaquín Romero Murube Street up to Triunfo Sq. Right there you gonna fall in love with Seville as you will have the Cathedral, Reales Alcazares (an ancient palace and fortress built by the Muslims) and Archivo de Indias (a library where all the documents and books related to the Spanish Empire trading monopoly during XV, XVI & XVII centuries are kept). This walk would take an hour and a half to be completed on a gentle and relaxed pace

A lovely yet simple park. Used by many as just a bicycle shortcut, though you can wander through. There are nicer places to go nearby, but the park is clean and peaceful. No complains

It's a great park to relax and walk. Not very big but big enough to enjoy a bit of time there. When the strong sun hits Sevilla, one can find places in the park, in the trees shadow to enjoy some fresh air. During morning and aftenoon many people go there to walk their dogs.

Great place to take a break if you are exploring the city. You can watch locals walking their dogs, enjoy the shade under the trees...

We liked this park that gave us shade while walking towards Plaza de España. It has a chilling atmosphere and lovely plants with flowers. The giant ficus tree amazed us. It's less touristy than Maria Luiza Park, and we think, it's also more beautiful and unique than that famous one.

In central Seville there are various parks which just about run into each other. Just my opinion, but this is the best and the most varied, starting with a cramped area near the Barrio Santa Cruz and then opening up into larger areas with grander architecture. Great place to escape the heat in lovely greenery.

  • 5/5 John M. 1 year ago on Google
Great place to relax & cool of from the heat of Seville. Close to most of the historic attractions & just across from plaza espanyol & Maria Louisa gardens. Another fantastic park😊🥰🤗💐🌴

Please visit this park, if only to be amazed at the sheer size of the Moreton Bay fig trees. One of them is 100 years old Some orange trees were also bearing fruit today, and the park is alive with birds !

It's a small garden which holds a statue dedicated to Christopher Columbus. It's located behind the palace of Alcazar. On some days there is a man who plays the violin which sets the mood for a tranquil break or lunch stop.

A breathe from the noisy avenue. Now it has some closed parts that are unaccessible for visitors :( but it's a nice too see people using it like a park. It has areas to unleash the dogs and areas for kids.
