Had
big
expectations
on
this
Kerala
Folklore
museum
since
it
is
in
Top5
Cochin
sight
seeing
suggestions
in
every
website
you
visit.
The
ticket
price
is
200
per
person
(to
my
surprise
in
reviews
posted
earlier
it
states
only
100
rs
per
person)
and
additional
100
rupees
for
taking
photos
inside.
It
contains
one
man's
(proprietor's)
40
years
hard
work
of
collecting
unique,
antique
and
ancient
objects.
The
objects
like
Urn,
Knife,
Photos,
paintings,
Statues,
Ornaments,
musical
instruments,
tables,
ritual
items,
dress
and
much
more
are
present
here
mainly.
The
building
itself
is
made
replicating
of
historical
tradition
of
Malabar,
Travancore
style
with
antique
door,
staircases,
ceiling,
windows
etc.
But
wait..!
Is
that
all
worth
your
visit?
My
personal
opinion
is
certainly
not!!
The
place
is
so
clumsy
and
doesn't
resemble
like
a
museum
at
all.
The
area
is
very
smaller
for
a
Museum
and
all
the
items
are
kept
very
congested,
scattered
and
so
dense
which
gives
an
experience
of
visiting
a
store
room
or
antique
collection
auction
area
rather
than
seeing
a
museum.
The
representative
ladies
will
give
you
a
small
briefing
in
2
minutes
when
you
enter
each
floor
but
no
clue
later
what
you
are
looking
in
to
and
no
one
will
assist.
You
have
to
read
through
the
description
tag
on
each
items
to
understand
what
it
is.
In
the
top
floor
they
are
selling
jewels
and
dresses
which
means
actually
you
have
things
to
visit
only
in
ground
and
1st
floor,
the
2nd
floor
in
a
commercial
store.
From
my
personal
experience
after
visiting
this
spot
I
would
say
definitely
it
is
a
over
rated
spot..
