The hospital doctors are very talented..and they will be..caring patients like family members...BUT...the procedures and rules is very bad..the office staff don't give the correct information only saying go there.. go hear...go..1stfloor 2nd floor...this problem only facing for health card issue...if you came with seek patient with also seek bystander..you can't get a smile face...and there is a lot of place for plants To nurture...but the administration doesn't try for that...causes the Atmosphere was very warmed character and irritating....dont waste disposing properly

I am not writing it as a review. It is an important message to all those who are getting admitted in the hospital. First of all,it is not anything about the consultation.from my experience they were all good.you guys can visit here without any fear.may be the facilities are not so modernised.you dont expect more than anything from a government run hospital. But what i want to say is about all the robbery happening around the hospital. My father had a surgery so i was staying with him.one night i put my phone beside me and i fell asleep.then some boy who looks like thirteen fourteen came to our ward and looked around and took my phone.these stories were told by the patient stayed next to my father. For me this was very unexpected because i never felt someone do this kind of thing in a hospital. that too a boy.otherwise i would have been more careful. So coming to incident, by the time i woke up and followed the boy he left the ward.there was no security or cctv in the ward.i heard the work for CCTV is going on for months.there was a CCTV at the ground floor and the way police reacted was also not so good.they were like it is our duty to protect.after that i came to know that it was very common in the hospital. So i want to say that those who visit this hospital please beware of robbery.i was unaware about it.nobody is going to help if you lose anything.

Neurology department is the worst department in this hospital. Each neurology junior doctors are testing medicines in their patients and learning it. Every time when I come to this hospital a new junior will handle my case and they learn changes by testing the same, done before by another junior

Doctors are very talented but other staff employees behaviour is very bad. No proper cleaning, wastewater everywhere, So much plastic wastes, dirty atmosphere, no good beds, some fans are not working. T.D. Medical College is the 1st Medical college in the state which was started under Private Management . This Medical college is situated in the suburban area of Vandanam, 9 km south of the Alappuzha (previously Alleppey) town, facing the NH 47, in Alappuzha district of Kerala State, South India. The initials T.D. stand for Thirumala Devaswom, which in Sanskrit means belonging to the Lord of Thirumala, since this Medical College was started in 1963 under the patronage of the T.D. Temple at Anantha Narayana Puram of Alappuzha. The first batch of MBBS classes were started in August 1963 for 50 students. The Kerala government had agreed to upgrade the district headquarters hospital at Alappuzha and handed it over to the Medical College management, to be used as teaching hospital for the medical students and Government Order No.G.O.(MS).263/73/HD dt. 23rd October 1973 was issued accordingly. Thus this became the 4th Government Medical College in the state.. T.D. Medical College is a rapidly growing Medical College in the state as a centre of excellence in every field of modern medicine. This is the lone Medical College in the state which would have the Medical College and College Hospital on the side of National Highway.

(Translated by Google) There is no hell like this, anyone can enter the intensive care unit at Trauma Ward at any time. A dog and a cat walk through the ward. Mosquitoes are like biting. The oldest medical college in the state also retains the position of the best teaching institution for all branches of modern medicine. With patients from all walks of life and with all sorts of diseases and symptomatologies, this is the best institution to have any sort of medical training. Added to that, dedicated teachers and support by the state government makes this institution one of the best in the whole country....

I lost my mom here.. She had heart attack. Took here, at first she survived. She was in ICU then moved to cardio iccu critical ward.. She was there for another 1 week.. Even with her unstable diabetic condition doctor asked her to leave n said she wud be fine. But she got another attack on the next day. She was taken back to here.. Waited 4 hours for a cardiologist.. Struggled and cried alot.. There was no Cardiologist and no bed available at ICU. They informed this to us very late.. N she left us when we tried to take her to next hospital.. No good understanding doctor No angioplasty or other procedural equipment Bad nurse and doctor service in the ICU Totally good for nothing..

Very sad to say this, Day by day the service are going to very pathetic condition. First of all give some classes to the doctors and staffs for how to treat the common peoples . The common peoples are coming to this hospital because they dont have much money for the super speciality hospitals .so treat them softly atleast nicely . Its a service not a beneficence

It is said about the place that they admit only critical patients with covid and other disease. It is also a proven fact that these critical patients are likely to go back to their native with proper life in them. Government medical college treats the patients as their subject of experiments. They are least bothered whether they live or die.since it's government,so employees are bothered about their time of shift, and nature of their work. They don't care!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the opportunity to visit T.D. Medical College Hospital, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped foot inside the hospital, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospital staff, from the receptionists to the doctors and nurses, were all incredibly professional, caring, and dedicated to providing top-notch medical care. One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness and organization of the hospital. The premises were impeccably maintained, creating a hygienic and comfortable environment for patients. The waiting areas were spacious and well-lit, making the overall experience much more pleasant. The medical facilities at T.D. Medical College Hospital are state-of-the-art. The hospital has invested in the latest equipment and technology, enabling accurate diagnoses and effective treatments. It was evident that the hospital prioritizes staying at the forefront of medical advancements, which gave me great confidence in the level of care I would receive. The doctors at T.D. Medical College Hospital are highly knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields. During my consultation, the doctor took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, ask relevant questions, and provide me with a comprehensive explanation of my condition and available treatment options. I appreciated their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to address all my queries, which helped alleviate any anxiety I had. The nursing staff also deserves praise for their exceptional care and attentiveness. They were not only skilled in their duties but also compassionate and understanding. They made sure to regularly check on my well-being, ensuring that I was comfortable and informed throughout my stay. Their dedication to patient care was evident, and it made a significant difference in my overall experience. Another aspect that impressed me was the hospital's emphasis on patient education. The medical staff took the time to explain my diagnosis, treatment plan, and post-treatment care in a clear and understandable manner. This empowered me to actively participate in my own healthcare decisions and take better care of myself following the treatment. Furthermore, T.D. Medical College Hospital excelled in its efficiency and timeliness. Despite being a busy facility, I did not experience any significant delays during my visits. The hospital's scheduling system was well-organized, and I appreciated that my time was respected. In conclusion, my experience at T.D. Medical College Hospital was nothing short of exceptional. The hospital's commitment to providing high-quality healthcare, along with its skilled and compassionate staff, made a lasting impression on me. I would highly recommend T.D. Medical College Hospital to anyone seeking excellent medical care in a welcoming and patient-centered environment.

T.D. Medical College Hospital opened at Vandanam was earlier at Alappuzha with the name 'kottaram asupathri' means palace turned hospital. It is now a full fledged hospital with all the medical departments. It is a Government hospital, As common there are always complaints about various needs, because everybody needs to get attended, but the staff run like anything to attend but a few in number compared to patients.
