Quiet place qith great views. Bring bug repelent.

Great hiking trail and a lot of good picnic places to take a bite.👌

A very beautiful place. There is a parking lot and an information center (which was closed when we visited the area). A lot of nice spots to have a pic nic. From here you have two options to continue along the Amata trail. The easiest option is to head towards the Veclauči bridge. (From the parking lot, as you are facing the rock, you take the path to the right). The path is in a very good condition, and after around 3 km (roughly 1 hour walking distance), you will reach the Veclauči bridge. The other option is to take the path towards the bridge near the Karli Fish farm. This is quite longer (7.5km), you will need around 2.5 to 3 hours to reach the bridge near Karli. The trail is not very well maintained for most of the part. You will see orange rombus marks on trees along the trail.

Be ready for a climb to Zvartes Cliff if you want the best views, but it is possible to observe the rock from a meadow on the other side of amata river. This place impressed me the most in the whole Gauja park

Nice place for hiking. National park has the beautiful nature views.

Beautiful place for sightseeing and hikes along the marked trail of river Amata. During the walk enjoy untouched nature, sandstone cliffs, peace and quiet, forests. There are several free spots for camping with bonfires so several day hikes are good here too.

Even though the cliffs look different in each of the season and weather conditions, I would suggest to visit the place in winter for great winter sightseeing for both the wintery roads and alley nearby to reach the place from Kārļi as well as the view from the top of the hill.

Very polite staff, great dog Rupert and a tasty coffee. A place where to enjoy nature - it's stunning. We were in the middle of our journey there and it's one of the best moments during all the 27 kilometres we have walked.

Countryside tourism.Perfect place for having a picnic and a walk. Very quiet. Small river there and wide fields around. Can climb the rock if following the path.
