Well I’m very disappointed. Came here on a Sunday because Chick-fil-A was closed and wow this place was a disappointment. They weren’t to busy but took 10 minutes to order couldn’t hear the lady behind the counter because she wouldn’t speak up. Went to pick the cleanest table I could find had to clean it myself and it was very sticky as were the other 6 open tables ( does no one clean the tables?) Took 30min to get the food and it was cold very cold not a single thing we ordered was hot and the chicken breast on my sandwich was hard and very small could have fit two on the bun. Long story short this place has potential to be successful but definitely needs some management help.

Avoid on a Sunday (hopefully this is limited to either Sundays or just this specific Sunday for unknown reasons). Orders were taking 30+ minutes to get out - ordered at 12:48, food in hand at 1:22. Supplies were running low. Drink dispensers were empty. Not a great showing.

This used to be our favorite chicken place in town, but it's clear that management and/or the owners no longer care about food quality or cleanliness. The chicken has taken a noticeable dive in quality. It's OK, but no longer worth the price. It tastes like re-heated frozen chicken. This place is also always dirty. See photos from our latest and last visit. The drink machines look like they are never cleaned and when there is a mess (see pic) they just put a bucket under it. They don't even bother to clean up spills. We let the workers know about the messes before we got our food and these pics were taken 30 minutes later when we were done with our meal. Sorry for not getting a pic of the roaches in the bathroom. The workers were very nice. I feel bad for them that management here is so poor. We will not be going back any time soon. Maybe we'll give it another chance in a year and hope it's under new management.

If only there was a piece of star..... bought the 5+5meal, order your chicken, grilled fried however,, this is garbage,, I'm a cook by trade, there's no way a legitimate cook would send a meal out looking like this..7-18-22,am, just as you opened,, simple the grill was filthy,hire real cook's or people that Care a little about what there doing...

First time eating at this chain. Was pretty meh. Nothing horrible. Nothing amazing. The chicken seemed to be a bit tough. The fries were not very fresh. I’ll give this place another try some day.

Absolute trash service and food. We usually love Slim chickens but they did a very poor job on putting our sandwich together the bacon was incenerated and they didn’t put cheese plus the chocked looks 2 days old. They even tending to our needs we sat outside for 20 minutes waiting on a drive-through order with nobody behind us in the line or in the store or in the lobby so I would definitely not recommend this Slim chickens the Night Shift at least they definitely need to fire everyone of those employees I would not have them working for my company. Absolutely pitiful

Myself and my roommate staying at a near by hotel tried this place out. Smelled good during the day and busy. One late night, we go to through drive thru and order crispy chicken sandwich meals. First when we pulled in I saw a bunch of teenagers that looked like they work there having a tiny party in the parking lot with friends smoking blunts. I know cause my window was down. The speaker on the menu board either needs to be replaced or the person needs to speak up. I was told that they are out of chicken patties and asked us if it was ok to use chicken tenders. I agreed. Pulled up to the window and waited for 20-25 mins before the guy came up with our bag and took our payment. The entire time while waiting, I saw other employees just horsing around, laughing, just cruising the kitchen like their own. Btw no hair nets...hats or type of uniform. You know when you were younger and had a job with customer exposure; the boss said "always look busy, don't stand around". Well I know now why we were told that. People like us. It does matter; interaction face value, confidence with the company and the people in charge of cooking your food, and customer service. We paid, got our order and left back to the hotel. We notice the tenders used were small and slapped on the buns that were small, barely any sauce mayo or Chayanne sauce on the other, the fries were cold. I tried some before we drove off. The burgers were small compared to what was illustrated on the menu. They broke apart easily and the tenders did not work. I did agree them to use the tenders however we still paid full price for the meals. Wasn't offered a discount or a gift card with credit on the next meal, nothing. And I hate styrofoam cups or styrofoam anything. The potato salad was the best I have ever had at a restaurant. It was so good, the bacon and the texture with that unique taste was amazing. Cookout winner there. This is the first time I have been to the restaurant and I don't see myself coming back. It may be just a job but it really does matter for the business. Slim Chickens was slim pickins.

Love the food, hate the service. The lady who takes the orders never speaks loud enough so you can’t hear her at all. It takes forever to get our food & our order is NEVER right & something is ALWAYS forgotten. So frustrating paying for something & not getting it especially with how long it takes. I would check your bag every single time before you pull away from the window. DO YOUR JOB BETTER! It is not hard to double & triple check a bag to make sure everything is in there. I will add, we have ate at other ones not in Fort Smith & everything was right & nothing was forgotten. Seems to be a Fort Smith location problem. So disappointing.

PROS: They sell fried Okra as a side! When the location in FortSmith, AR opened a couple of yrs ago, the chicken dishes were NOT impressive. So, I tried their fried Okra. Fresh and delicious and became the only item I purchased. Good portion. CONS: Went there (Fort Smith, AR location) yesterday and bought my Okra as usual. It was overcooked and in a much small portion. The container was Styrophone (not the light cardboard box as had always been), the closure on the box was broken, and did not have a drip sheet in it. In all, Slim Chickens is quick eat. I will not be going back to the Fort Smith location, but I might try a different location if I come across it in my travels and am hungry for Okra. Should have taken photos.

Went to slims today with a pregnancy craving of a crispy chicken sandwich with a side of fried mushrooms. My first chicken sandwich didn’t look very good to me and they were so nice to remake it just perfectly for me. Made my day for sure. ❤️

I really like eating food at slim chickens. The reason why I gave them four stars on the food is because the chicken tenders are almost as small as the wings. I literally thought my chicken tenders were wings, at first glance. I even called them and told them they left my tenders out of my order, just to look closer and see the tenders. 😂

We had a family dinner here and it was our first time. We ordered a little of everything. Unfortunately, the grilled chicken was cool and the coleslaw was very salty BUT the manager was exceptional and fixed everything in short order! She was nice and never once seemed annoyed by our concerns. I will definitely be going back 💖

The food was delicious as usual. However the lack of staff delayed service and cleaning of tables. I know that they were busy and trying hard but two additional staff members seemed to be needed.

The food was fairly good, but we couldn't understand what the young lady at the register was saying, and she sure didn't seem too interested in her job either. The front door was nasty, so I opened it using the bottom of my shirt. I used the bathroom to wash my hands and it smelled like urine, and the floor was slick, but it wasn't from water on the floor. This place use to be a good place to eat, but here lately it has gone down hill. Not sure if we'll go back anymore.

We come by today July 2, 2023. and ordered two sandwiches and two “5 and 5”. The food is nasty, the wings and chicken patty and coleslaw are old. The coleslaws smell so bad and the wings are hard the chew. The only one ok to eat are fried mushrooms, fries and breads. We did not make any complainant there because it is not worth it but we will never ever go back there anymore. Such waste of money.

The strips are tasty with or without sauce. I recommend mixing the parm garlic and hot Buffalo sauces. The cashier served me well, but had a very apathetic attitude. The atmosphere is fine, but nothing special.

The food was made quick. I got the Slim Meal and had then dipped the tender into the Mango Habanero sauce. They also had plenty of other sauces to choose from also!! And their strawberry milkshake is definitely one I'd recommend.

As many other reviews state, if you order on their app for curbside don't waste your time waiting outside, go in and get your food before it gets cold. And check that they give you everything before you drive off. I haven't had a correct order here the last 6 times I've ordered it. They have the best fried chicken in the city, which is the only reason I keep coming back. But don't expect accuracy or speed. If they don't have an item or don't feel like making it, they just won't give it to you in hopes you don't notice or complain. I had a milkshake left off a delivery order and the manager e-mailed me to tell me it was her fault because she ran out of milk shake mix, and said I could come in and get one whenever I wanted. So in other words, inconvenience myself for their mistake. Tonight I ordered gravy and checked my order and there was none - I go in and they tell me they don't have any and that's why they didn't give me any and ask if I want to wait five minutes for them to make it. Then literally fifteen minutes go by while my food gets cold because they couldn't be bothered to make some when I ordered in the first place. No apologies or any kind of offer to make up for it. It's no exaggeration to say stuff like this has happened 90% of the time I've ordered here over the last few years. TLDR good chicken which is their only saving grace because service is awful. Check your food before you leave for accuracy. Don't expect them to make up for any mistakes.

First time eating here and it did not disappoint. Little on the pricy side for me but everything was hot n fresh . Great service, food and atmosphere. We dined in Ft Smith AR. Great job 👍

They took 37 minutes to deliver our food to our table. This was after telling us they were out of mac and cheese 10 minutes after our order was placed, then coming and telling us that it WAS available after 20 minutes. Then the Mac and cheese was delivered to me with plastic from the bag it is cooked in, inside the cheese. Worst slim chickens I've ever been to.

I went to this place which used to be great on 6/12/2022. I ordered something small on my way to the movies and since the drive through was moving semi slow, I went and got to-go inside. Huge mistake. I waited over 45 minutes for my food that I didn't receive. At 40 minutes a manager talked to me, didn't offer anything, not even an apology. I asked for a refund, then left. So total I was there for about an Hour with NO Food. It wasnt busy, and they appeared to be full staff. I also checked on my order several times before actually asking for a refund. So this place is awful. I would give zero stars if I could.

I usually have really good service and excellent food at this restaurant. My most recent visit was an exception. After waiting over 20min for my food I asked about it. They had apparently cleared my order. I waited another 5 min to get my order after that. With that said, my food was hot and fresh once I received it, but nobody really apologized either.

Freshly made food and quick service <-- My original review.. My new review. I went there tonight 4/19/22.. I decided to splurge a little since their food is a bit pricey, but you know what they say "you get what you pay for". Well first off my tenders were hard, and cold. They also counted that small, about a quarter size piece as a tender. Next the fries were very soggy, and cold as well. I mean even the bread was cold and limp. Even their cups say " fresh, made to order", so you can imagine how disappointed I am. 😞

I came here on Sunday (which it was busy) and waited in line for about 15 minutes which was not the issue. When I went to order a chicken sandwich they told me that they had no chicken sandwiches at all. So I then ordered a grilled chicken salad with ranch to go, and tried to order the desert in a jar which they also did not have. After waiting over 20 minutes for my salad, I left the restaurant and got home to see that they did not get my salad right as it was crispy chicken instead of grilled chicken and they also did not give me any ranch. I would rate zero stars if I could.

First time trying and was delicious. Chicken was hot, juicy, and seasoned well. I got the slime box ( 5 tenders, seasoned fries, garlic toast, and I got a lemonade)with slim sauce and honey bbq. Slim sauce was a nice flavor. Love going to a place with their own sauce. It is a thick sauce which I didn't mind at all ate chicken and fries with it. Honey bbq was lil watered down for my taste but it Had to be good if it ended up in my shirt. 😅🤣 I will definitely be going back.

Really enjoyed our visit! My sandwich was an easy tie with popeyes for all time favorite spicy chicken sandwich. The kids all loved the fries and everything was hot and tasty. My wife said her salad was delicious. Finally, had the strawberry cheesecake in a jar and it was outstanding! Highly recommend. Service was top notch as well for this visit. Thank you

If I could give a zero rating I definitely would if I could give a negative rating I definitely would. This is the worst location I’ve ever been to in my life. I am currently pregnant and my husband and I love slim chicken but this location right here can never seem to get any of our orders fresh every time I have been to this location I’ve received dull unseasoned fries. Every time I have asked for extra fry seasoning due to the fact that my normal fries don’t even have seasoning on them it results in the same thing fries with no seasoning and super stale taste . Tonight ! Specifically i know it was close to closing but they had about almost an hour until close , she Hands me my drinks i shake them they have absolutely no ice at all so when she opens the window to hand me my food I explain to her that I hate to be one of those people but if she would respectfully remake my drink due to the fact that there’s no ice in either one of the cups and they taste in water down she’s done staring off paying attention to a car that is off over another way and then proceeds to say I’m sorry what was wrong with the drinks when I explain that they were water down but they were watery with no ice in them she hands me a cup and says I can give you some ice with no lid on that cup . My response was that there’s no point of me even wanting the drink at all now. Keep in mind through all of this there was nobody in line at all someone pulled up after me but there was no one in front of me . SMH Won’t be back to this location ever and sad to say it’s the only one near by , I’ll stick to eating it when i travel to okc

I don't normally give reviews for "fast food" restaurants but had to here. Worst experience at a Slim Chickens I've ever had. If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible service and rude workers. Every empty table in the restaurant was dirty.Took 30 minutes to get my food. When it finally came out was cold as ice. Portions were tiny too. Chicken fingers were about the size of my pinkie. Will not go back here!

This place was recommended by my son so when we were in the area at meal time my wife and I stopped in. The wait to order was not bad, and the prices were not too bad. We waited a bit longer than I was use to for our order to be provided. I ordered chicken salad (lettuce type, not sandwich) and was pleasantly surprised at the amount and the taste. I would recommend this place for a casual meal.

Will have to say was a little hesitant on ordering the grab to go chicken box. They actually give u true sides to feed a family. Everything was fresh, hot, and tastes great. Mac and cheese about as close to homemade as u can get. Rich and creamy. Only knock, but not worth dropping a star was a gallon of tea seemed a bit on the pricey side.

The employees were great and the food was very tasty. I docked one star because the only two trash cans were beyond full the entire time we were eating, making it difficult for customers to not make a mess throwing away their trash. The manager guy was walking around on his cell phone in the parking lot for quite a while, way longer than it would have taken to dump some trash. Other than that, it was a good visit.

I really like the tenders, good flavor. Slim's sauce is good. Always good service. One complaint for today's visit, trash was emptied right next to us while we were eating. I understand that this needs to be done, but surely it could have waited a few minutes until we left.

Be prepared to wait 20 minutes for a chicken sandwich and fries… Food is ok but the wait is atrocious. Very disappointed in the cleanliness inside. Food everywhere, tables not clean, trash cans filthy and overflowing, drink station looks like it just dumps on the counter.
