Stayed Sept 2022. This place does not look like the pictures online. Rooms are not clean. I can do basic no frills hotel as long as it’s clean. The rooms are not properly cleaned. We booked the junior suite with terrace and you can see the built up layers of dust everywhere, all over the floors. Fridge is not cold it takes all day to get it cool, and if you leave your room it has no power to stay cool. Air conditioning you have to dial 0 to get them to turn on. Breakfast was below average.

Very bad hotel experience. -stained toilettes -holes in towels -didn’t clean the room -air conditioning work only if you call reception and for a limited time - Mini bar light stays on and bright at night. They need to improve, would never stay there again sorry - staff was somehow friendly but 0% English

Clean and tidy rooms, although some are a little small. Breakfast was sparse and not to my Western tastes, and dinner was not to my liking. No proper coffee on offer, just Nescafe if you were lucky, which was surprising for Turkey. It doesn't have an alcohol licence so you can't drink with your meal or in public areas but there is an off licence opposite which appears to be doing a roaring trade with the guests, especially Iranian tourists seeking the freedoms denied to them in their own country.

The hotel is very nice. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast staff are phenomenal. The hotel is in a nice area within walking distance of great stores and restaurants. The downside: the walls are so thin you hear everything your neighbors are doing. Everything. I didn’t get much sleep. The air conditioner was off, so I had to leave the window open for cool air. There’s a nice gym across the street, and they have daily fees available.

Except food choice in this period of coronavirus, the staff is super helpful and friendly in Persian, Turkish and English. Standard of the rooms is high (space and facilities). Fitted carpeted floor might be replaced by state-of-the-art flooring. Breakfast was a good moment. Design around a Western theme is funny. The town is huge but this hotel is a good starting point to many places around the Van Lake.

I think it's the first time I faced such a terrible place in Turkey since 2014. I ended up staying in a different place and when I returned the key card, nobody really cared about it. The check-in procedure takes an eternity. The room (1105) has a window overlooking a tiny and extremely dirty place inside the building. It's like a giant well, and you live on the bottom of it. The smell of sewerage was everywhere. All mirrors are broken. All bedsheets are yellow and old. There's no ventilation at all. Carpets, bed, chairs... everything looks disgusting. If you come by a car, then it's another torture. There are no parking places, and reaching the hotel will take 40 minutes.

Noisy, dirty and with bad service. There are much better hotels in Van.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was big, warm and clean. The staff don’t speak much English, however they do their best to communicate everything through translators. Location is directly in the centre with many busses, taxis and restaurants nearby. Breakfast has the usual turkish variety of jams and cheeses, however they do also have some local delights. Recommended!

Great experience, friendly staff and beautiful hotel.

Good price, location, concierge, and room service. Mediocre breakfast. As others have said, the concierge doesn't have great English, but they were really helpful and willing to use Google translate to help us understand each other. Not a problem at all.

Literally this hotel is awful! Breakfast: The breakfast consists entirely of low-quality ingredients and is not interesting at all and has no variety Service and rooms: Really weak! The rooms are dirty, the quilts and sheets are old The walls are dirty and cracked And they are so thin that you can hear the sound of the toilet siphon in the next room! I was in this hotel for a week, and on the first night, the refrigerator in my room was broken, and no action was taken, and when I asked for cold water and ice, they charged me for it!!!! To turn on the air conditioning, you must contact the reservation! None of the employees know English Very poor service and cleaning And the price of tea is 5 lira Ice 15 lira! I suggest you not to go to this hotel at all because it is not even two stars!

We had some troubles during the check-in, guys on the register desk couldn’t figure out how to find our booking and how to process our is cards. In general, the hotel looks very nice except the cigarette smell inside the room. Seems like each person who lived there smoked a lot. If we are talking about breakfast it was nice.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Location is near shopping centers and resturants. Hotel steff are friendly and nice. Hotel has problem about hot water supply which needs to be considered. Rooms are big and clean, recommended.

This could be a better place if the staff could communicate with the guests in English! Environment and rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was not good enough. Great staying but not recommended most!
