First
time
having
Sunday
roast
in
Hampstead
and
first
time
for
my
friends
from
abroad
to
have
Sunday
roast,
scotch
egg
and
sausage
roll
EVER.
Great
food,
friendly
staff
and
lovely
location
in
a
small
bustling
alley
near
cafes
and
ice
cream
shops,
tucked
away
from
the
main
high
street.
Do
note
that
they
have
two
entrances
-
one
side
for
drinking
and
one
side
for
more
spacious
restaurant
seating.
We
were
able
to
book
the
night
before
for
a
12
noon
slot
and
were
given
really
spacious
seating.
It
gets
more
crowded
towards
1pm,
but
has
a
very
comfortable
and
vintage
vibe.
We
were
worried
about
the
food
being
oily
from
other
reviews
but
it
wasn't
at
all.
Portions
of
the
roast
were
very
filling.
We
got
the
roast
beef
and
pork
-
it
was
all
around
wonderful.
Before
the
roast,
we
ordered
scotch
eggs,
sausage
roll
and
fries
whilst
waitng
for
our
friend.
Those
were
delicious
too.
According
to
one
of
my
friends,
these
were
the
best
fries
she
ever
had.
To
quote
my
friends
from
abroad
-
"Feels
like
a
typical
English
pub
experience.
Wish
we
could
have
visited
more
often."
Will
definitely
be
back
again!
