Great service and food at this pub. Went to this restaurant twice before both parts of the Cursed Child. Very convenient location when attending the show. Much less hectic and more laid back than a couple of the other establishments close by. The service upstairs was excellent - the drinks came out very fast and the food was warm. The bartender was very helpful and suggested some local beverages. We would definitely come back here on our next trip to London. Cheers!

If you are looking for a nice British pub experience, this has to be one good option. I loved the experience here, not to mention the beers. They have enough options of food and drinks. The lighting and space are so confortable, you should definitely visit.

A lovely British pub experience, we visited The Cambridge while watching Harry Potter at the Palace Theatre. The menu was classically British but we went for the pies. Huge portions and very filling. I would definitely visit again for these gorgeous pies. Lovely atmosphere with a few hits to Harry Potter and the history of the pub.

Great stop in Soho for a casual meal. The pie was fantastic as was the fish and chips. A pleasant surprise was the sea bass. We might stop by again in the next few days.

Only gets 4 stars as it only has toilets upstairs hence went to the loo in the theatre. I ordered the steak and I asked it to be cooked blue - cooked perfectly, the salad had a lovely dressing and the chips were crisp. The pub has a lovely atmosphere. My older brother introduced me to The Cambridge in 2009 when I lived in London.

We came here for lunch this afternoon- love the atmosphere of the pub, staff were friendly and helpful. They provided beer samples to my boyfriend and were quick with service. We ordered mac and cheese balls with homemade chutney (would definitely recommend), fish and chips with mushy peas and traditional steak and ale piea both were tasty. Overall, great experience and would like to go back and try other things on the menu!

Nice dining room upstairs, not too noisy and serves a lovely steak and ale pie and mash with London Pride on tap as well. Friendly quick service. Good spot for a reasonably cheap (for central London prices) meal!

The Cambridge Pub is a hidden gem for beer lovers. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The selection of beers is impressive, with a wide variety of craft brews and traditional favorites to choose from. But it's not just the quantity of beers that sets this pub apart, it's the quality. Each pint is poured with care and precision, resulting in a delicious and refreshing experience. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to recommend a new beer or offer their expertise. Whether you're a beer connoisseur or just looking for a great place to relax with friends, The Cambridge Pub is the perfect spot.

An amazing pub with brilliant food and an amazing atmosphere. The pub had a great atmosphere with a great soundtrack. The food was brilliant and one of the best fish pies I have ever had. The fish and chips were brilliant and it was crispy and fresh. Would recommend for a good pub lunch and a pint

Forget the McDonalds across the way from the Pub. We called in for something to eat. You can eat upstairs in the restaurant but we decided to eat in the bar. We had a tablethat looked onto Charing Cross Road (People watching) The food was very tasty & incredibly hot (which I like). We both enjoyed our meals & mine was the Garlic chicken Schnizel Chicken with chips. My wife had the ‘Hand Pulled Lamb Shank Shepherds Pie’ full of thick pieces of Lamb. One of the best shepherds pies that she as ever had. Next time we are in London I will call in if we are around the area. Staff friendly & although only a small area to eat & drink it was just great. By the way don’t diss me…I eat with my fork in my right hand and the knife in the left. There are a few of us around. 👍

We came here after a very busy night to wind down at the end, and I had a bowl of tomato soup and a pint of Nicholson. The server was great, he managed quite a large room solo, and still took the time to answer all of our questions about the drink selection, menu options, and the building itself. Even though we only had a small amount of food, I would definitely recommend checking it out!

I know they’re famous for their pies, but this honestly is one of the best pubs to eat a steak in London. I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. Gorgeous food.

As an American traveling in London, I didn’t know what to expect and this blew away my expectations. The British Steak & Nicholson’s Pale Ale Pie was PHENOMENAL. The atmosphere, also PHENOMENAL!! Cannot say more positive things about this Pub. If you’re here from out of town, definitely stop by.

A busy place right next to The Cursed Child. Not the best experience. Food was ok but the Veggie dish was disappointing. Pricing ok for London and very handy. Pint ordered but never arrived, also the dish didn't match description and we had to raise this as an issue which we then got charged for (mashed potatoes), then they took it off again after complained. Ok but not great.

The service and food were so good! Really enjoyed the gentleman behind the bar. Funny guy. Ate here as we were at the Cursed Child play and this is in very close proximity. Would def dine in again. Great food and atmosphere.

Staff was very friendly and nice. Really enjoyed that. The location itself is not too spectacular but you get some nice views on the outside and can watch all the people buying around. I found it a bit chilly inside though.

We had a really nice time dining here. The Staff was really nice and the Food was really good. We ate Meat Pie, Fish Pie and Fish and Chips. All 3 Dishes were really good. I recommend you to reserve the Table in advance. It's really easy doing that online on their Website.

This place has the best chicken pot pie in the area. They use real chicken breast. The bartender was so nice and he remembered my husband and myself when we came back. Unfortunately when we went back on Sunday night the kitchen had just closed and I really wanted another pot pie before we flew out the next day. We made a bad decision to try the restaurant next door, the pot pie was horrible and the chicken didn't look real it was one chunk of chicken and one chunk of ham. It was so nasty I didn't even eat the pie. I only opened it to examine the chicken and tried just a little piece and couldn't stomach the taste.

Decent pub. Food is hit and miss. The toad in the hole is great. The chicken pot pie was small with thick crust with only a little filling. We didn't like the carrots. No cranberry juice but the had a refreshing raspberry soda. Staff is friendly.

Classic English pub that was the only one in the area serving food late. Everything was quite good however there wasn't much contents to the chicken pie, it was mostly thick, hard crust. Fish and chips were good, but not many fries.

Visited today, pub lunch. Staff very friendly good range of beers loved my toad in the hole and wife had the ham egg and chips. Both enjoyed our meals, will definitely eat here again 🙂

My wife and I called in on Saturday evening (having found the centre of London very busy) for a pre-theatre meal. The very bubbly Scottish member of staff informed us that a table in the dining room would be ready shortly. A ten minute wait was certainly worth it. We both had mac and cheese with bacon and it was delicious. Washed down with Doom Bar and followed by a lovely coffee. Many thanks for getting us in at a busy time and we look forward to a return visit!

Had a lovely meal in between the Harry Potter play yesterday. Just across the road so perfect. They were very busy all of us arriving together, a little wait to order and for food but all in time, no rush. Staff friendly, especially the Scottish actress 😊 food good xx

Fantastic pub in London! Really good choice of food and real ales and not overly priced. Highly recommend this pub as they have really good choice for vegetarian, vegan, non vegetarian and fish eaters! I will definitely be going back.
