Walkers of Whitehall, tucked away at the north end of Whitehall, next to the Silver Cross. A quiet sedate pub with a few floors to explore. A selection of keg beers on offer (may change soon I suspect) +5 pumps on the bar, only one in operation today offering Broadside + 1 with Rosie's Pig cider. All good with great staff here to help. All good!

Service I've been to a few pubs around the UK. Never have I been refused service. A young person refused to serve me. She questioned religious / political / social beliefs and refused to serve me. I was not rude / impolite / aggressive. I was, however, surprised. Working in customer service for most of my adult life, it did come across as highly unprofessional. Another kind member of staff did serve me. She was cool. **** Food We didn't get a chance to try it, but they did offer a few dishes. Would like to try some day. **** Atmosphere Lovely atmosphere, big pub with a few floors, beers priced the same as pubs around, £6.50 a pint.

Slightly tucked up away means this is popular for tourists and people post work. Lovely team who made us feel very welcome. Good beers on tap and a nice wine list too. Will be back.

Veggy food and traditional with real meat, what else;) Tasty only the sausages weren't my taste. Cool atmosphere here with live sports broadcast. International audience.

Our dining experience at Walkers of White Hall in London was predominantly a feast for the senses, with a few areas that could use some enhancement. The cuisine was absolutely superb. The fish and chips were exquisitely prepared, each bite a testament to classic British comfort food done right. The beef and ale pie was equally impressive, a beautiful blend of hearty flavors encapsulated in a flaky pastry. And the sticky honey mustard sausages were an absolute revelation, an innovative twist on a traditional dish that left us craving for more. Our server deserves a special mention for her warm demeanor and excellent service. Her friendly attitude and attentive care significantly added to our overall dining experience, making us feel genuinely valued and well looked-after. However, a couple of aspects could have been better. Despite the restaurant having ample seating, we were placed rather closely to other diners. This detracted from the ambiance and made our experience feel less private and more crowded than we would have liked. Another area for improvement lies in the beer selection. For a pub in the heart of London, the range of beers felt somewhat limited, especially for anyone seeking more than a basic ale. An expanded selection would undoubtedly add another feather in the cap of Walkers of White Hall. All in all, our experience at Walkers of White Hall was mainly a culinary triumph. With some minor adjustments to the seating arrangement and beer selection, it could easily become an unrivaled dining destination in London.

Lovely pub with a relaxed atmosphere and accommodative staff. My fish and chips came quickly. So tasty I ate my girlfriends leftovers. Ask Aria to make you a baby Guinness! Perfect way to end the night 🌃

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Chose this pub as me and a friend were looking for somewhere to have a nice pub lunch and a drink, we found this place on google with 4.1 rating and decided it was the best out of all the others near by. Once we got there we thankfully found a table even though the inside is quite small, we ordered 2 cocktails and Smashed Avocado on Toast. Firstly, The cocktails were extremely overpowered with the spirit and in a small glass, for £9 each you would expect a higher standard, unfortunately we could not finish one of the cocktails. Secondly, once we received our Avocado on Toast we were eating it and noticed that it was not toasted and was soaked in water. We unfortunately couldn’t even finish our food because it had turned to mush. After this we decided to order some desserts to see if anything could be salvaged from this experience, we started off by ordering Sticky Toffee Pudding and were immediately told there wasn’t any available, after this we ordered Eat N Mess instead and this was fine according to the staff, 10 minutes later one of the bartenders comes and tells us that Eat N Mess is unavailable but they have brownies available with ice cream, so we ordered that instead. 15 minutes later we were told the kitchen is now closing so we won’t be receiving our desserts, at that point we had had enough but we ordered one more drink, we ordered a basic shandy and what did they not have? Lemonade. This was when we decided we wanted to leave, we asked for the bill and saw a 12.5% service charge which we would have been happy to pay if the service was up to par but unfortunately it was not, we asked to change this service charge and we’re told ‘the service has already happened so no’. We paid and we left and agreed to never return, our experience was awful along with the food and drinks which is definitely NOT a 4.1 standard.

Our waiter and bartender, Aria, was friendly and attentive. We were looking for good local pub fare. He helped us decide on local food and drink options — all of which were served in a timely manner and were very good.

Lovely pub and restaurant just off Whitehall main road near Trafalgar Square. Needed a break from walking with kids, room in main bar. Only had starters but were delicious. Man behind bar very friendly. Great atmosphere, lovely old building over 3 floors.

Great little spot down an alley and away from the busyness of Trafalgar Sq. Well kept Landlord ale and well made mimosas. Staff super friendly and prices very reasonable. Didn’t have food…although highly recommended a bag of their pork scratchings 🐷

The food was unmistakably horrible. The sandwich my girlfriend got was next to disgusting. My burger was black charcoal burnt. The service was not the best, but nothing to complain about, though. The beer was alright. Toilets were clean. But the place is insufficient. It’s a tourist trap. I do not recommend it at all. I would return if I need a quick beer and it’s the only pub opened nearby.

Staff were brilliant. Our part was late due to march that was on which left us little time to get our food before our show. They went out their way to accommodate us cant thank them highly enough.

We celebrate Christmas party at the place. It was okay but it’s needed some music!! That should be a must!!

I visited with a friend between Christmas and New Years and honestly for a pub that sells itself as a gastropub we were disappointed. The welcome, the service, the drinks were all great but the food was a real let down. For example, the pie was OK, but nothing special, and the gravy was very watery and had no flavour. I'd happily visit again for drinks but I wouldn't plan my evening to have dinner here again. Seems a shame based on other feedback that persuaded is to plan for here in the first place.

Nice atmosphere and a friendly welcome. Came about 5.30pm on a Thursday and was busy with a good vibe. Decent pint of Timothy Taylor’s and delicious pork scratchings (Midland Snacks) Food menu looked good too, unfortunately a few items not available and did not eat here. Pic of menu included (Feb 2023).

I was in a party of 11, we had the bottomless brunch, it was lovely, superb. The service we received from the young lady was amazing, faultless, our glasses were never empty!!! Unfortunately, I didn't ask her name but wish I had so thank you again lovely lady. Highly recommend this place, I would certainly go again.

Interesting old pub located down a narrow side street that's easy to miss. The bar area on the top floor is attractive and not as mobbed as most of the pubs in this area, which is nice. Only had a pre theatre drink but there's a large basement dining area serving food. Service very friendly and prices good.

We had an absolutely AMAZING night with Julia and her fabulous team at Walkers of Whitehall. I can't sing their praises enough. We were a rowdy group of 34 and we booked the Downstairs Bar for our Annual Choir Dinner. We felt so looked after all night, the staff simply couldn't do enough for us. Julia answered all my questions super quickly and when there was a slight mix-up with the drinks packages on the group menu, she threw in two extra bottles of wine for free. The team thought of everything and even connected my iphone so we could have our own playlist. The food was EXCEPTIONAL and very good value for the price; I was particularly impressed by the beautifully cooked steak! The food was staggered by dish when brought out, but this was entirely expected for a group of our size and didn't detract from our night at all. I had brought four large number balloons and some other decorations and the staff very kindly agreed to dispose of them so I didn't have to worry. All in all it was a wonderful night for our group's Annual Dinner and in such an amazing location as well - and we loved the vaulted bar. Everybody who came said to me how brilliant a venue it was. I will definitely be coming back! THANK YOU to all at Walkers for a fantastic night.

We dined here after a walking tour of London, was a really nice way to finish off the day! Filled the spot perfectly! Really nice Victorian style pub, good service and cheap too. £10 for fish and chips + a half pint of your choice (though that might have just been a walking tour special I'm not 100% sure) either way I'd recommend. The house white wine was also so nice and fruity but crisp

We called in for a quick pint good selection but stayed a bit longer the bartender was great, we didn't try the food as it was too early for us but it looked great anyway. Good atmosphere and surroundings would recommend a visit.

Last night i brought my beer group here. We had a much larger than expected group, but the two guys behind the bar dealt with it all admirably. We all had a wonderful time and felt very welcome. This is a lovely old building, split on two levels. Very central and convenient. As it is tucked down an alley, it has a certain charm about it.

I ordered the beer battered fish and it was some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Great food, great vibe and even better drinks. Aria and Tiffany waited on us and they did an amazing job. They were super helpful in helping me pick out a beer. Highly recommend this place!

My last favorite place to eat out of all the places we went in London. I did like the place however. It was quite quaint and cozy. It wasn't terrible food just not great and the fish fingers were kind of fishy tasting and I didn't get custard with it (jk I wasn't expecting it).

Nice pub off the main street in Whitehall. They have gluten free bread for sandwiches and burgers, and a nice selection of drinks. The prices for sandwiches at lunch were reasonable and the food was good for what we paid. I enjoyed the Hugo cocktail I ordered and my wife liked the cider on tap. Servers were friendly. Overall a nice experience.

Food was good and plentiful. I wanted a drink not on the menu and Aria crafted a special non-alcoholic tea just for me. Great personal service. I highly recommend!

Top notch! Great customer experience, even tho we came in with the kitchen barely opened. We felt welcomed by the friendly staff. The food was PHENOMENAL, beating many overpriced "gourmet restaurants" (Thanks chef Anthony)! The beef & ale pie and the cheeseburger we had were just mouthwatering!🤤 We were extremely pleased with the overall visit and would definately recommend to anyone looking for authentic pub with awesome food and service! Cheers!🇫🇮
