A very loud, young folk pub. Well, it's not really what we have been experiencing as a "pub". It's more like a cross between a brew house and a canteen. We came with two other couples and we did have a good time. Burgers and pizza were good for the price. The aroma was better than the taste. Seems to be no service, ya gotta do it all yourself. But this is not really an issue. Certainly worth a stop.

I have been to many weatherspoons, so I am aware and what to expect however with this branch is quite a let down. I came with my relative who came all the way from far east and decided to dine here for a lovely dinner. when we went to place an order at the bar, we were served by bar-tender with colour hair and obviously we were first but the bar tender question the gentleman behind us, if he was next, thinking we may have jumped in line ( there was only us and him at the time), then when we were asking what is traditional English beer he said he doesn't know as he doesn't drink beer, then after asking again, hoping he would be helpful / friendly, he then just pointed the tap at the end of the bar and told us to go take a look in a very rushy/rude manner. wasn't impress and being a food blogger dieponfood this wouldn't be a good post on my feed no matter how good the photo of the food looks esp When the food didn't look appealing in person, we ordered mix grill , bangers and mash, ham egg and chips and fish and chips, soft drinks and a pint of brown beer. I'm afraid the mix grill and ham egg and chips wasn't great, over cooked, very small cuts, ham was thin and dry, the beer wasn't fresh, warm. it was late and based on some staff attitude made us uncomfortable in even speaking to anyone. Prices are really good, despite the price at least have the food have to be better quality or cook properly. Location and price is good. however despite the above feedback has left one of my relative unwell. I'm afraid I wont be visiting this branch again.

Another well placed "spoons" ideal for stays at local Premiere Inn. Great value for money and not too busy at peak times. Decor is good and staff are friendly.

Great value for money, decent food & beverages and service. This place also provides free unlimited WiFi and access power sockets if you’re in need of a pit stop. You can top of unlimited coffee (from machine) / tea at £1.50 - prices as of Sep 2023. Got the eggs Benedict for breakfast but shall stick to the English next time.

For a Weatherspoons, this is one of the tidier ones I've been in. It was very clean and easy to find the toilets! We ordered breakfast at 11.45am and had no issues with our order (even though we were pushing it for ordering time). There was outdoor seating /smoking area and the ladies toilets were cleaned to a high standard. Service was very quick and the staff seemed pleasant and polite. Would definitely visit this one again if I was in the area.

Good bar/restaurant with very tasty food and good selection of drinks. The price/performance ratio is exceptionally good, especially for London. Unfortunately, ordering via the app was not possible due to technical problems and you could only order directly at the bar. It is also too loud and busy for some people. Nevertheless, I can highly recommend Goodmans Field.

Had their English breakfast here. Very warming and big English breakfast to keep you full until late afternoon. If you love Chili sauce like me, try this linghan’s Chili sauce from Malaysia.

Decent. Did the job. You can get pints from £2 here (a specific IPA). Doom bar was £3.50 which was easy to drink. The group of people that I was with the vast majority had a great time at the venue and were happy to get their drinks cheaper than anywhere else in the area.

First visit, had a pizza which was fab, my daughters child meal was dissapointing as the chips were barely warm. Overall though the toilets were fantastic and clean, staff very pleasant, location was excellent and only 1 minute walk from our hotel, shame about the chips or would have given a 5* rating

Fairly good. The chargrilled chicken could have had a crispy skin rather than a soggy one. But I would definitely go there for the traditional curry.

I would have taken a photo of my pizza but I ate it as I was hungry. Genuinely I was so surprised at the quality of pizza from a budget pub chain. It was absolutely immense. I would happily pay over double the price at restaurant. Far better than any chain pizza restuarant. Well done Spoons!

Fabulous Wetherspoons.. this feels like a relatively new building. It is within close proximity to the Tower of London and is spitting distance to a fabulous Premier Inn. The Spoons is situated over one floor, although has a partial split level within. It is bright and spacious. The toilets are on the same level (which is nice for a change.. no stairs to climb). He ladies toilets grouting looked a little badly done, looked more like dirty chewing gum instead of smooth grouting. We ate here last night and enjoyed Curry Club, Kormas. The food was good, although the Poppadoms seemed a little stale in places and also oily in others areas. Overall a good meal with alcoholic drink for £10.74. Easy to order on the app and prompt service. We also ate here this morning, however the breakfasts (Traditional and Vegetarian) were both cold, the hash brown had a little warmth, but only luke warm. Also one fork was very dirty, however promptly changed when asked. A nice bright and clean Spoons in a good location. Although we have visited Liberty Bounds round the corner on numerous occasions, we did not know this existed. We would return, nice seating area and plug Sockets.

There are two Wetherspoons close to Tower Hill station and this is definitely the better and quieter of the two. Despite being a Friday night, we were served quickly and the food was good. Atmosphere was a bit manic but what do you expect for a Spoons! Lots of young people tanking up before hitting the town. Also lots of workmen treating themselves after a busy week on site. Overall, great for couples, families or on your own. There are a few fruit machines to keep you entertained too.

Fish&Chips and hot wings were great and the house beer was also very nice. Everything was great except for the order system as a waitress told me to order one more house beer by using app.

First round of food was cold, got the order wrong too. They weren’t busy either. 2nd round of curry’s were hot and correct. Burgers were not very nice.

Local to where I was staying. Staff provide great service with a smile and laugh. Food while basic was delivered quickly was tasty and extremely well priced. If you are staying at the local hotels try it out it Will help your pocket and you will experience a good locals pub.

Great Wetherspoon. Been here in 2019 for breakfast (same quality, but way cheaper than in the hotel we stayed), and again now for a few days (again, breakfast and Christmas dinner). Even if we don’t agree with the attitude of the owner of the Wetherspoon chain, we like the food, and that you can order via mobile app. Perfect when you are on a sightseeing tour and just want to have a nice and good meal in a reasonable time. The staff is nice, the toilets are clean, the restaurant itself has a good atmosphere, even when it’s very crowded. And for a Wetherspoon, it’s really quite clean. We definitely come back when we stay in that area of London.

Loved the food here. Got the roasted vegetables dish. It came with a delicious sos and some salads. The Rose was perfect. Atmosphere is cosy. Staff are friendly. You can order and pay online and you will be served at no time.

Great food with affordable price. Less than £9 for a breakfast, I am happy with that. Find a table and sit down, use the app to order and make payment, the server will bring you the food. If the food was a bit hotter, it would be perfect. Free refills for coffee and tea. Excellent for travellers staying at the hotels nearby. Enjoy!

Slightly quieter 'Spoons than Liberty Bounds. We arrived during the world cup and the atmosphere was happy and cheerful. Nice clean toilets and good options for food and drinks. Good seating outside and inside too!

And another 'spoons. Haven't been here for a while but it's still the same. The staff that I interacted with were wonderful and polite. I still think they have the best fish and chips in 'spoon land. The pub was very busy when we were there but the service was still excellent. They had some TVs for the football but I'm not sure how many people were watching it. The Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar.

Handy for the travel lodge across the road. Easy walk to the tower of london. Usual food menu and beers. Staff are friendly and helpful

I've been to this 'Spoons a couple of times now when I've been in the area. It is well placed with a couple of Travelodges and a Premier Inn nearby. There is seating outside which is good for a spot of alfresco dining and ample seating indoors where there are large windows surrounding the whole pub which helps make it feel more bright, open and spacious. It was clean and the service was all very good. Food and beer also went down rather well I opted for a Beef Madras and a pint of Leffe. The prices were very good especially when compared to some of the other London pubs we went to that were charging almost double for a pint.

Shocking wife ordered her food and drink and it was quiet. I walked to the pomlers rest ordered a drink drank it and walked back and nothing was on the table. (for a bet) Then her food turned up and no drinks, then 5 mins later our drinks did. But then she had finished her wrap. Last time we will come here last time my food turned up and hers did not and the staff were feckless. We just walked out

Used this pub over 2 days whilst on a visit to London. Morning breakfast service was very fast and efficient using the wetherspoons app . Again, evening drinks was ordered using the app and service was excellent. Nice atmosphere and outdoor seating is available. Security doorman always greeted us with a smile. Will use this pub again if staying close by.

Just your normal spoons! We've been disappointed previously with them not having any breakfast available but hadn't advertised it upon entry and today they couldn't take card.. yet declined our £50 note. Other than that, food is good grub and cocktails are just like in all spoons ... very nice 👌

Decent Wetherspoons this actually. Takes American Express. Breakfast is far better elsewhere though I would say, but did the job.

Excellent all round. Wetherspoons exceptional value in central London. Staff were great, very helpful, very pleasant and exceptionally efficient. At 7.30pm our drinks turned about 90 seconds after ordering, food about 5 minutes later (using the app obviously). What we really liked about this particular pub is the raised seating area which is set out for couples, keeping the larger groups on the lower area. As tourists we had a great time watching London go by while enjoying dinner. Would absolutely go there again.

I went with my friend there and had a good time. We ordered five beans with soft drink. We also got rice, papadam and nachos. They have ample of space. Staff were cooperative and nice.

Standard JD Wetherspoons establishment. However one knows what to expect. Decent food & drink at reasonable prices, good service & a large venue, plenty of tables. Perfect for traveler's on a budget.

Visiting London and we are using thus pub as our local. Such a lovely group of staff. ❤ Friendly, helpful and really happy to help and serve you. 😊 Family friendly and a good atmosphere no matter what the day.

Completely odd, I've been visiting here for over ten years and just ordered half a pint of Wandles for £1.75. It was on the turn, but drinkable, but I then noticed signs saying a pint was on offer at £1.49. Apparently I needed to buy a pint, chuck half away and then get the discounted price. There was little benefit to them for that sharp practice, I didn't order food as they've annoyed me.... Went back to Seething Lane Tap instead.

Our underage friend just wanted a cheeky drink with a meal (which is allowed for over 16’s if someone else pays which we did) and they singled us out, they ganged up on us, they cornered us with their manager’s hawk eye, and they didn’t let our friend drink. They also misgendered our friend, unacceptable absolutely outraged and fuming, do not come here you are wasting your time or money, spend it on therapy instead. Food was very good tho.
