Atmosphere was good. Food was excellent and price of food and drinks was pretty reasonable. Staff were great and really pleasant. The only downside was the condition of the toilets. They were absolutely disgusting and really need an upgrade. Floor and walls are extremely filthy and could do with a deep clean.

Great Fish and chips + a pint of Guinness for a bargain £7.75 on a weekday lunch. Plenty of seating options indoor and out. Good WiFi. Clean toilets. Efficient service. The only small complaint is that ordering on the app can be a bit buggy and requires a little patience.

The quality of this pub has decreased massively since covid restrictions lifted. I went there 3 times this summer and on all occasions, we had a poor experience with the food. On my birthday, there were 6 of us. My friend and I ordered smothered chicken with no barbecue sauce, the others wanted steaks but they did not have enough so were able to get one and the guy who took the order said the others can have mixed grill. When they brought the orders, they forgot to leave out the BBQ sauce from the chicken and we sent them back. The ones who ordered mixed grill were told there was not enough meat to prepare their meals. They went for something else, but of course there was a delay. Then the waiter came back and said there is only one chicken dish left so one of us has to take the chicken with BBQ sauce if we still want that! On the second occasion we went there, they again were out of steaks and mixed parts of our order. Third time yesterday was a real charm. Four of us went there and ordered food. After 40 min they only brought one dish. We complained and after Another 20 min they brought another. The manager came to give us a free round of drinks and told us our food will be brought. However, it was clear they had mixed orders, as they didn't know what we had ordered. After another half an hour, we were told our food was given to another table but it is being prepared in the kitchen. Then after some more waiting, we were told the chef walked out of the kitchen and we won't be getting any more food. It felt frustrating and unacceptable. Two of us who didn't get food got a refund. But we were there waiting for 2 hours, hungry and frustrated and at that time it was too late to go somewhere else to get a meal. Staff forgetting orders, no supplies to meet the demands of the menu, understaffed pub, only one chef to prepare food are all unacceptable in customer service. It was not even that busy.

When I went to O’Neils recently, the barmaids were very polite and friendly. They’re very professional. They all had a smile on their faces. They poured my drinks very quickly, they delivered my food quickly and the tables were very clean. The food was amazing. The staff were well organised and efficient. The pub has a nice and friendly atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back there again.

A great fun place to be. Fantastic table service and the manager Patric always makes sure we have everything we need. The food is excellent and there are a massive selection of drinks on the menu, even for a non-alcoholic drinks which is a breath of fresh air. The private area is huge and perfect for private functions; I have regular games nights there and it is always a good night. Thanks to the wonderful staff!

A very spacious pub with interesting decor. Staff members are polite and friendly. Had some Guinness blackcurrant beers and a meat mountain pizza that was quite delicious. The prices are quite reasonable and fair, as in total we paid about £21. The pub has a nice and friendly atmosphere. You can watch different sports matches live. It is very loud there, but it is a pub, so don't expect a quiet evening. Overall had a really nice experience there, definitely recommend it!

Our favorite spot since 2018 Big range of food, our top is Dirty fries and Calamari Sometimes gets too busy so waiting may take around 30min for food, but in overall its worth it ❤️

To start with, thank you Oneil’s Leytonstone! As always we had very good experience. Good service, lovely staff and excellent food! The Max Grill platter was delicious and perfectly cooked and our little girls loved their burgers. Wonderful touch, Chef asking ,if we have enjoyed our meal ♥️

Our first visit. The Manager was very welcoming and friendly. The lunchtime offer was exceptional both in food choice and price. Service was very good. Five people in our booking and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We all agreed we would be back.

Went to meet some friends, we were nicely surprised as we hadn't been there for years. Good food (loved the burger), good service and a nice vibe. Kyle went out if his way to be helpful, nice to have barstaff that help you. Thanks.

Nice to see the place is still open and the clientele has improved. Used to be of a Friday/ Saturday night the bouncers were a little overly handsy, lots of under age teenagers, with the toilets being lit up like a Jackson Pollock painting if you had a dark light with the amount of drugs being taken. The amount of stories you heard of people being glasses by local football firm lads in the parking lot that went there you would expect it to be covered in in saw dust. Nice to see somethings can change.

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. We ordered good and drinks, the wait time for both wasn't long at all. Sara behind the bar was very cheerful and extremely helpful. Will 100% visit again.

Seems to exist primarily for the benefit of a small group of regulars. If you’re sat at a table they want, or want to watch a match they don’t, you’re out of luck. Staff have no problem doing this to you even if you’ve already spent money on food or drinks.

We come here once a month for an even that's held. Nice amount of room to dance. Plenty of seating. Drinks are fair priced. Nice bar staff as well

Food was fabulous, fish and chips and rump steak, really good quality. Washed down with an amazing Pina Colada made by Freddie, lovely experience.

It was honestly shocking. I think the worst meal I have ever had. Staff hadn’t a notion what they where doing, from the start of our food arriving, to the table, and the end it was over an hour ( table of 5), food was all wrong. The manager did come over once we complained and gave us a round of drinks. He also refunded my fish as I couldn’t eat it. But the manner in which he dealt with the complaint was so unprofessional. It was such a let down. I am not looking for anything from the restaurant or a comment back, I am just trying to warn others. Avoid.

At 9pm the kitchen has already closed. Google's reviews put it better rather than another pub in the nearness, but we cannot say the same. Disappointing

Pretty much shows all the sports that you might want to watch and always a great atmosphere whatever your team. Equally, plenty of room to tuck yourself away if looking just to chat, soak up the WiFi or watch Leytonstone out the window. Good range of pub grub, beers, wine and cocktails and the friendly staff (Bronny, Jodie, Kirstie, Nadine, Sarah, Sorcha and Wanessa get special mention) are always attentive, professional and happy to banter. What's not to like!?

Couldn’t even get a Munster v Waps European rugby game on one of the 7 or 8 TVs. Only had the same Liverpool game on throughout the whole place. Just had to leave and go home. Pity because it’s a nice pub, but not very rugby friendly. You would expect any Irish pub to be showing big Irish rugby games.

We had my nans funeral reception at O’Neill’s in their function space. The food was lovely, drinks were affordable. The staff were kind & helpful. And the atmosphere was just what we needed, we all enjoyed, and my nan would have been very happy with the outcome <3 O’Neill’s Leytonstone has a special place in our hearts now and we will be returning often

Normally don’t leave reviews but I had to after receiving such an amazing service from one of the bar staff that looked after us when we attended the beginning of this week. I believe the young lady was called kirsty. Top marks all around! :)
