I had a lovely pub dinner here with my husband. Everything from the starter, to the main course and dessert was sumptuous. I didn’t expect the Salt and Pepper Squid Salad to be so flavourful. It was a delightful surprise. The Beer-Battered Fish and Chips was superb. Really fresh, light and not oily at all. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was still warm when it was served, and the vanilla ice cream that went with it had actual vanilla beans in it. So lush. The restaurant had a cosy ambience and was squeaky clean as well. The servers were all wearing masks and gloves too. Very good COVID safety protocols. I can say that it’s one of the best pubs I’ve been to. I’ll definitely visit again.

Went across the river for Sunday Roast, and it was very delicious, both the beef and lamb options.

We were walking the Thames path and stopped at this pub. It's an old pub which has survived from the days when this area was part of the docks and probably very rough. Now the area is quiet considering how close this is to central London. Beautiful display of flowers on the outside. Inside it's all oak paneling, probably as it was a century ago. Service is friendly, prices average. It was Sunday so I had roast dinner which is served till 5 o'clock. They also specialise in Thai food if you don't want traditional. Not touristy, even a few locals to chat to. Would be happy to return if we were ever this way in future.

Lovely pubs with some nice food. We ordered the pie and Thai green curry. Food was very good, fairly decent quantities. We were in the outdoor seating area which was small but nice. Staff were good and accommodating. Prices were reasonable for the area. I would recommend it.

Stumbled across this lovely pub as I was staying the hotel next door and looking for somewhere nice for dinner. The staff were lovely and friendly, managed to find me a table even though I hadn't booked, and the service was excellent. The menu has a decent selection including vegetarian dishes and vegan options. It was a Monday night and the place was quite busy and the atmosphere was lively and friendly. Wish I had a local like this, and highly recommend it especially if you're staying at the Doubletree by Hilton Docklands Riverside hotel and want to eat and drink somewhere with a bit more life to it!

This is one of the pubs we have stopped on our Jubilee walk from Canada Water to Greenwich. The pub is small but is oozing with history as is hundreds of years old. There is a small sitting area at the back which overlooks the river. The staff were approachable and helpful. We have enjoyed a light battered king prawns with sweet chilli sauce with our drinks.

We've eaten here a few times, brilliant local pub. The staff are great and really friendly, the food is outstanding and good value for money. This is our go to pub if staying at the DoubleTree Hilton

This is one of those comfortable and homely pubs that you could easily fall asleep in. Great service and atmosphere together with an excellently kept pint of Pride.

Really impressed with this pub, nice old pub with a good history that has kept its character. The customer service was amazing, it was very hot today and we had a baby with us, so they went out of there way to make sure we had the fan in our direction, and we were nice and cool having dinner. I had a good pint of Seafarers real ale that was in great condition. And the Pad Thai both me and my girlfriend had was absolutely exceptional. Perfect combination of sweet sour and spicy. Really recommend this place for a drink and/or food.

Great pub for drinking or having a good meal. I've taken fish and chips and a pint of Stowford, delicious. Great live music as well. I'll surely come back!

Lovely local gem!! We stopped by on a bike ride and they do a really tasty aperol spritz (can be tough to get right from pubs) and a perfectly poured pint of Guinness (also rare). We also had a spicy squid starter which came out as a full salad and it was absolutely lovely!! Definitely did not expect it to be that nice coming from a pub. Service was also excellent! Will definitely come back!

Very nice pub, with a very good staff. Prices are regular and the leek soup was very good 😊 Nice music all the way until end of our visit. Toilets are well maintained. Place is busy which is great and we were there from 4 pm on Sunday ☀️ There are some seats outside from both sides of the pub. There are seats for around 70-90 visitors. At least one tv so for sure some sports events are played out there which is nice. If you live close by it is definitely good pub to visit and chill 😎

A pretty decent pub that’s not in the middle of a big thoroughfare so it’s got a cosy, relaxed vibe. The bar just put like an island, splitting the space in two. Warm wooden tables with decent amounts of space on the one side and more bar-like space on the other. The staff are fine, not overly-friendly but quick and efficient. The food comes quickly too. Drinks wise, the selection won’t blow you away but there is a good amount on tap (cider, ale, etc). Similarly the food isn’t anything to write home about, but things like chips with truffles and Parmesan are only 50p more than regular chips and a decent size. All in all, a nice place to hang out with friends for a casual evening at a decent price.

Our need for a late lunch and a pint on a Saturday had us looking for something good. Canary Wharf is mostly tourist and business-focused, but we wanted something more local. This pub definitely filled the bill. The barkeeps were very friendly and helpful. The food (sausage and mash; a side of chips) were very well presented and delicious. The overall atmosphere is great and the decor has that perfect touch if classic and comfort. Aside from the fact that the tap is rather limited and they didnt have BT Sports (so no footy on a Saturday afternoon?!), we still would recommend.

This is a hidden gem in the area. Elegant, cozy atmosphere, with excellent service. A variety of wines, beers and cocktails is served. The food is of a much better quality than most pubs in England. The only area of improvement in my view are deserts. I have tried them all and unfortunately they do not achieve similar standards. Especially the sticky toffee was quite dry and lacked flavour.

A really nice traditional old style pub, friendly atmosphere with a good selection at both the bar and on the menu. Although I didn't eat, the restaurant area looked really welcoming and the food smelt and looked great on its way past me! I'll definitely be back and will most certainly like to try dining at this lovely oasis of 'Great Publiness', so close to the riverside and marina walks.

Incredible food ribeye was perfectly cooked and would have cost much more in the centre of the city Update: came back and everything remained perfect. Feel I shall be returning to try out the rest of the menu

Overcharged for what we got. We waited an hour for 3 burgers to arrive (it was close to 9pm by the time they arrived and we got there around 7.45pm).. in the meantime watching everyone else around us getting served and being asked if dessert was needed. Nobody came to check with us until we were so hungry got up to ask about our order. The staff kindly offered £9.29 off (not sure how this was decided) but the overall experience could have been much better. After all £15 a burger is not exactly 'cheap'. We also asked for tap water (on top of beers) and saw the water being poured into a jug from the tap, but what we didn't realise until we left was that we were charged £3 for 'still water'! The place looked nice, the atmosphere is nice, everyone else seemed to be enjoying their time and getting their order... but we probably won't be coming back.

A hidden gem. I have been to here for drinks and often thought about having a meal here. Well, this week I was taken here for my birthday treat. My reaction, why have I not been here before, I will most certainly be keeping the Blacksmiths Arms as a top choice for me. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a really good enjoyable atmosphere with the customers. The menu gives a good choice and makes it difficult to decide what to choose, it includes some Thai meals. The quality of the food is excellent. The Blacksmiths Arms is not a place to miss.

We had a family double Birthday celebration, it was a large group. The food, the service, the atmosphere was perfect. The decor was beautiful with floral displays. We couldn’t have hoped for more. Just would like to thank everyone for their hard work making it an evening to remember.

Nice pub, beautiful interior. Happy hour Mon-Thurs 4.30-5.30pm. My only gripe was the beer garden was non smoking so had to sit out on the street. Did not like that one bit.

A nice place to have a drink and some Asian cuisine, a little bit on the pricey side but there are not many pubs in that area. It has a local feel and its not as carpeted as other traditional pubs, expect a modesty sticky floor.
