Really great first visit, and we were not disappointed. Excellent service, every dish was perfect. Lovely atmosphere by the cosy fireplace. Can’t wait to return! Thanks to manager Martin for a lovely lunch.

Cosy pub. Really warm vibes and delicious food. Baked Camembert, Halloumi fries and the Aubergine parmigiana were big highlights. Also the chicken burger was juicy and chips well seasoned. They had 2 for £12 cocktails which were a nice deal. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely return.

Excellent food, great service and lovely pub. Stopped off for an afternoon bite to eat. Had a beetroot wrap and onion rings with a side salad. All were perfect and very tasty. Service was very good and attentive. Pub is really nice and has a cozy feel to it. Well worth a visit.

Appetizers: melting Camembert and sticky chicken were delicious. I would pass on the mushrooms. For mains: the Aubergine parmigiana was the stand out, margherita pizza was ok. Pot pie was huge and good for sharing.

Absolutely fantastic pub, visited here with my friend on the 24th October. I believe it was Robin and Mary that served is? I’m sorry if I’m mistaken. Had the steak and changed a few of the sides to what I wanted and the service was excellent and very accommodating! Highly recommended, will be back again! Thank you!

The staff are amazing and couldn't do enough for you. They were making sure my toddler was happy and had colouring to keep her entertained while food was being cooked. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you guys. I didnt manage to get a pic of the dinner but I did manage to get a pudding pic.

Had lunch during the working week. The team was very welcoming from the moment you entered the Hillside Inn. Great service, and the food was really good. Although the team had no problem in catering for a large number of people at the same time, being an old building, we were sat on a number of tables but all close by. Great place to meet up with friends, families, or date night. Great place to have work team lunches or dinners and a good number of parking spaces. The price of the set menus for lunch was good value for money, and i would highly recommend a visit.

Was taken here for a surprise 70th birthday treat. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel very special. The ambience, decor, service, attention, meal and welcome was superb. Robyn and her colleague made sure we had a visit to remember and I shall. I can really recommend this venue, food and staff. Their dog-friendly too.

It was really busy but the service from the staff was brilliant and they couldn't do enough for us. They were really pleasant and smiled which is amazing considering the pressure they were under. Great meal with fab portions. Really enjoyable and will come again

Wonderful night in the beautiful garden at the Hillside. They we accomodating to us as a large group and food time and quality was superb. The gentleman on the bar was doing a great job tending to a busy bar on his own and keeping customers happy! Robyn who we often see on our visits was there with her family and still welcomed us warmly; she is a true asset to your team.

I think I have just found the best full English breakfast in the Area. I’ve been living here for 6 months and whilst there are some good places around, nothing I have had so far matches this. The service was prompt and friendly, all the food is cooked to order and using top quality produce. The cooking and presentation, also top. I only wish I’d taken a photo. I’ll be back there very soon. Highly recommended. Lots of space and the terrace area is a lot bigger than it looks when driving by. Thumbs up to the team 👍👍

Food is always good. Love the sea bass, especially when it’s served with samphire -yum! Service has been impeccable every time. This has become new go-to pub since the old one closer to home changed chefs & food quality declined -very happy to have found Hillside Inn as replacement.

Visited Crawley for the first time. Googled good local pubs & Hillside Inn popped up. Worth a 10/15 min drove from Crawley. Lovely inside. Surprisingly busy for a sunny Monday night so had a good vibe. Good food choice & fabulous, chatty, polite, smiley & helpful service from the young lady who served us

Bad experience. No pizza,no garlic bread, no bacon. Was not told no bacon when ordering so it was just missing from our meals. We order hunters chicken and beef burger. Would have not ordered hunters chicken If I was aware there was no bacon. Will not be going back

The food was excellent but the service was slow. The waitress brought over the wrong wine, but it was changed with no fuss, really nicely appointed pub. Well worth a visit.

The Hillside Inn is a very nice place to dine in. I had the Hunter's schnitzel with chips as a main course and the double chocolate brownie as desert. The Hunter's schnitzel was great good but compared to my friends I think there's better dishes on the menu such as the pizzas or the burgers, it does however depend a lot on preference. The brownie was great especially because it was hot on the inside contrasting with the ice-cream on top of it. Location wise is nice but it's a shame you're not likely to hear about it unless you live in the area. I only heard about it when my work colleagues mentioned it. Overall I really enjoyed the experience.

We had the NYE three course meal and really enjoyed what we had. When it got to the pudding we decided to have them to go. Unfortunately upon returning home and trying the apple and blackberry crumble, we noticed it was very burnt and had been flipped over to hide it. You can’t really taste the food due to it being so heavy burnt. A little disappointed as I’m sure this would not have happened if we were eating in. Was a real let down from the rest of the food which was lovely. For how much we paid it’s not really acceptable.
