I was staying with my partner at the Premiere Inn next door when we came for food here in the evening. The prices were reasonable and the food was quite nice, nothing amazing but I guess that's why it's not expensive. It's definitely the kind of place you could come regularly without breaking the bank. There were a bunch of things that were unavailable but to be honest it was getting close to Christmas and they had probably been busy. The staff were friendly and the food came quickly. Overall, it was decent.

Nice pub, food is ok at a push, and staff are great. The cleaning of each area is a bit rough and I had food from the previous people around my feet. The service is fairly quick although the standard of food itself isn't amazing although I guess you get what you pay for. This is attached to a premier inn and so easy if your staying in the hotel. The extras are pushed on you and I ordered extra chilli that I wouldn't order again. There are a lot of tvs in here which kinda does away with why people go out and is very American, I go out with my family to catch up with them not what's on TV, but they seem to be on every wall. Overall I would eat here again as there isn't loads nearby, but if there was a half decent restaurant near I would opt for that option.

came for Breakfast at on a Sunday as we always do and at the same time of around 9.30am. We have been going for weeks and enjoy it. On this particular morning we arrived and were rudely greeted by a woman who told us we should have booked.. we explained we never do and has never been a problem. she told us how long she had worked there for, basically called us liars and said I have never seen you before. she agreed to sit us, pointed to a table and threw the breakfast menu on to it. We sat and waited as we always then get asked what we would like for Breakfast and someone takes our hot food order but no one arrived, after about 20 minutes we asked this same woman if someone could see to us, she very rudely said that we have to help ourselves and it is always done like this. We said sorry we were not aware and have not had to do this before. She again told us how long she worked there for. Now, the fact that we had to help ourselves to the hot food was not a problem. It was her attitude and manner that shocked us. clearly this was a new thing and had she politely told us when seating us would not have been a problem and why give us a menu ? We got up and left due to her. I think that if Beefeater are going to employ front of house staff they would train them better to have manners. We now feel we never want to return because of this awful woman. We then went into Hertford to a well know Hotel and restaurant and had a wonderful breakfast for the same price and were treated with respect and politeness.

Meals were OK, but a little cold, I would class my Gammon steak as barely making average. The setting was ok and the staff were attentive, but that was really it. !! Update.Monday lunch time. Extremely busy today, with staff rushed off their feet, our patience was being stretched with waiting, there is a lunchtime menu of 2 courses for a tenner ish . Good value !!?Had the gammon which was ok , chips weren't special. For starters I had chicken wings, which were a bit fatty. An OK meal , and the portions, were of good size. When you see the number of patrons, it indicates that people like the experiance. I personally wouldn't make this a regular venue .if your standards aren't very high, you will probably enjoy your visit, and if you are in no hurry!!

Had a coffee before eating, it was luke warm. Ordered meal, flat bread and a portion of breaded mushrooms. £2.99 for a piece of bread measuring 6" x 3" was disgraceful and the mushrooms were barely warm/cold. I did complain refusing to accept the flat bread. Told it was the normal size that they sell. Changed order to 2 portions of the mushrooms which arrived nice and hot. The main meal we chose was sirloin steak, peas and fries. Steak was nice but again not hot, peas were cold but at least fries were hot. Decided not to bother with pudding or another coffee. Whilst the manager was pleasant I don't think he listened to us. We won't go back, in fact this is the 2nd Beefeater we have now said we won't go back to. Not impressed.

Arrived early. Had to wait in the bar area for 40 mins. As we met friends it wasn't a bust but another time would be different. Very busy for Sunday evening. Food choices very good. Wait server excellent. Great Burger. Xmas turkey special not so. £80 for 4 mains and 2 drinks each. Good value. Staff surprised we didn't have a voucher as everyone seems to have them. Car parking free for 3 hours. Nearly caught out. If you don't mind waiting it's a good option.

Fantastic service food and atmosphere on Mothering Sunday. So many people to cook for and everyone more than happy. The roast beef and lamb were perfectly cooked and represented great value. Made a lot of Mums and families very happy

Staff very helpful. 8oz fillet steak not available, offered 12oz for same price. One over done, both steaks not up to expected fillet quality. Noticed at least one other table with same opinion on quality as well as one being under done and sent back. Surprising as Beefeater steaks are normally top knotch. We won't however be put off going again, assuming this is a one off.

Enjoyed my meal last night, went for the rib eye with added Prawns, Grilled Veggies and 2 Fried eggs. With the additional bits ut was a little expensive for what it was. Food was a OK quality nothing special what it was expected from this chain of restaurants. The lad serving was really nice great customer service

Food was good, service was good but could be quicker. More fruit variety would be good for breakfast.

After waiting for 10 minutes at the front desk we were finally seated. The restaurant was not even busy so not sure what took somebody so long to seat us. Food was average, service wasn't great. Had to go ask the waiting staff for some mayonnaise as they were busy on their personal mobile phones!! Not sure they would cope if it was busy. Didn't seem to be anyone in particular in charge which was the main problem

Back again on 15th November with my client. Greeted by Vicky again. Absolutely superb customer service skills. Focused so well on my guests and meeting her needs. Such a wonderful attitude. Delicious food as usual. Fabulous chunky chips. Thanks so much I often come here for business or with friends and family. On 25th October, I brought a young adult with learning disability to this restaurant for lunch. They had a really great time as the food was top notch. I’d like to compliment the chef because the chicken was absolutely perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming - very comfortable and well laid out. The staff, particularly Vicky and Matt were amazing. Vicky was so warm, friendly and helpful. She made my guest and I feel so valued. She was very attentive and gave my guest a lot of attention, which made their day. She made sure my guest had just the right seat and table for their particular needs. Matt then came over to check that all was well. He, like Vicky, had an amazing way with the guests. He was extremely patient and wasn’t at all bothered that my guest took a long time to express themselves. I noticed how great he was with other guests too, and how he was able to adapt instantly to communicating to individual guests. Both Vicky and Matt really made our visit a great experience.

I eat regularly at Beefeaters when staying away for business trips, but the mixed grill at Ware is the best I have had.
