MINISTRY OF HELL. I've had the WORST experience I could ever imagine last night at Alok's gig. I bought my tickets WEEKS AGO and waited in the queue for 3 HOURS and wasn't allowed to enter the event. They OVERSOLD tickets and there was no way of anyone else entering. There were HUNDREDS of people on the queue facing the same situation, having to wait outside in the cold with no access to a toilet or any other facility. I've seen several people that managed to enter the venue were simply kicked out from the event due to overcrowding, and many of them, including women, showed signals of aggression and physical abuse from the security guards. I've been trying in many ways to get a refund and there's no customer service to help me out. It's unbelievable that this place is allowed to open in London. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Liked it, paid £55 for entry for each but not worth it. Let me tell you why! Place was excellent and huge. The sound system was good, drink menu was not so expensive. But the DJ’s were not up to the expectations. Sad but dint like it, though we stayed till 3 am. Hope will visit again next time and like it.

Literally never had a bad experience here - I love the club and have been here more times than any other club in London. Drinks are expensive in almost every club, not just here. The layout of MOS is really cool and each room has a distinctive feel. They support small promoters and huge acts alike which is excellent. There's sometimes talk about people being unhappy with genres of music that they weren't expecting - all the line up's are published on MOS's website. From there, you can search for artists and see if the night is what you were after.

One of my favourite nigh clubs in London. I have been there twice, once for a neon party and another time for a bank holiday event. The neon party was absolutely amazing with perfect music and crowd. The second event was alright too, but it didn’t have the best music.

MOS used to be an ultimate 5* experience in the past 10 years. Yes, it’s crowded, yes, it’s overpriced, but it’s a night club, so you should not expect it differently. Staff, including security are friendly, obviously you need to behave and act like a decent human being, if you want to be treated as one. But I just had my worst clubbing experience last night since I visit Ministry. Don’t mind the excessive search at the entrance, club is full of people under influence of drugs, ruining the party for others. Walking around uncontrollably and bumping into others on purpose, hitting someone’s head by not being control of movement of arms, pushing and tossing to create extra space for themselves. I’m happy to do pogo dance in punk rock concert, but not in an EDM club, where you really just like to dance. I felt I was in the middle of an overcrowded boxing ring and fighting rather than enjoying some good music. Those kind of behaviour should be monitored, and aggressive and uncontrollable individuals should be taken out as they are not only a hazard for themselves but for others around as well. It’s not something new, I have witnessed it happening on several occasions, when security took out overdosed guests. If not enough security, maybe the less ticket should be sold. Please don’t ruin the MOS experience by lowering the standard of crowd control.

The staff were pleasant and helpful at the cloak room and in the vip lounge. The VIP experience was a letdown because the music played on the top deck didn't sink in with the main performance stage, but I believe that was a personal preference. There were no perks to being VIP, no seating areas for guests who didn't buy a table. After visiting this iconic venue over 10 years, I was expecting more at this more at this point.

Not as great as it's been hyped up to be. Just full of ketted out uni students and teenagers cutting shapes to music that all sounds the same. Probably best to make this a 21+ club again. Have to say the sound system was really good overall, the toilets felt clean and the security was pretty solid too.

Lifetime experience to have been a DJ playing at MOS.. dream come true.. totally loved the experience.. security shld have better communication skills, no need to be harsh with guests, you don't always know who you are talking to especially when they explain themselves... the staff very helpful..

Way too overcrowded I think less tickets should be sold because you can’t even move or dance, people were rude and trying to start fights, had to wait over an hour to get in and couldn't even have a drink to enjoy it because bouncers come around and take your own personal drinks even if you’re waiting outside and not even IN the club and if you want one when you’re inside its a 45+ min wait for like a £10 vodka lemonade. Total cash grab go somewhere else

This is one of my favourite clubs in London. The music is always great and the bass in the box will shake your insides. Always a good vibe and the security staff do a great job of keeping a nice atmosphere. Be careful when asking for drinks, as some of the bar staff will pour you the most expensive drink when asking for spirits even if you just want the house spirit.

The most remarkable thing was the sound quality of the venue was phenomenal. Theres 4 rooms for music. The main DJ’s play in The Box. The lights and fog get very intense in there so I recommend bringing sunglasses. I found the gangway bridge in the center bar was very handy to cross from one side and get to the Gents toilets without pushing through the crowd. Just a few more seating areas would have been good to rest my tired legs. Strong security presence, dance safe!

Loved every second of my first and will not be last trip to MOS, might be 45 but what a night, very impressed with how clean & tidy the place is kept too. The sound system and laser lights were awesome, BrillAnt atmosphere and staff friendly too. Epic 31st birthday to MOS night, can’t wait to return.

The club itself is nice and the main room has a good sound system. The lasers throughout the club are impressive and I found the bar staff friendly. However I was assaulted by one of the bouncers which has greatly upset me and put me off coming back again. I did not feel safe again after that incident happened.

Not gonna lie, it was horrible. Not worth my entry fee and had no ambience. I’d literally spend my money any other club in London and there is better ambience. I ended up going to a cheap pub round the corner and saving the night. I’ve been to a lot of clubs and this one was by far the worst. We went at peak time on a Saturday night and it was very underfilled for the size of club and everybody was standing multiple metres apart. Even earlier on they were playing basically the same heavy music in each room at different volumes and almost no one was dancing. There was no ambience and drinks were so expensive at £8 a tequila shot. Everybody was standing awkwardly around, which was weird. Also they searched me so extensively and put their hands down my bra when I entered, which was fine with me but probably too invasive for many. Tickets on discount were 15£ for me but for my friend had to pay 30£ and we left after 1hr. It was hyped up so much, and while the venue is nice, it didn’t live up to any expectation that I had.

It is a great venue, with definitely one of the loudest and cleanest sound systems out there, it's generally at least half full of students, if not more who can get overenthusiastic, but rarely have I had problems here, food was good, but brace yourself for the full force of London's drink prices

Very pleasant experience with incredibly efficient and friendly staff and cloak service. The regular security checks in the toilets were appreciated for the overall feeling of safety and security for a really enjoying experience! Definitely worth continuously going for future events!

Been here 3 times now and every time had a great night. After my first visit, I was astonished with the sound system in the box room so had to research the back story of it. Costs were over £500.000 when it opened in 1991 so with updates and tweaks all these years later you could probably bet costs near £1.000.000 has gone into the stacks each capable of kicking out 25,000W acoustics, amplifiers, limiters etc.. I’ve gone to a few Hard Dance events where the Funktion 1 sound system has been used and in my opinion Ministry is better. Think it was custom made by a company called Martin Audio and what a job they’ve done.

On the night I attended, room 103 and the main room were open, and the loft was not. The main room had very good lighting, however it got hot in there very quickly (as would be expected with any club). Staff were incredibly helpful with any queries. There is a food van in the smoking area that serves cheap food, such as pizza, burgers, and hotdogs. Room 103 has the largest main bar, and one the DNB night that i attended also had a stage and mc. I feel like you have to get lucky with the atmosphere of the club based on the crowd of the night (again as is sexpected at any club).

Great fun for the family. Music and atmosphere was great for the kids. Lots of involvement and prizes for dancing etc. There were also activities in other rooms like hobby horses and a bouncy castle. Kids only! Star knocked off for lack of changing tables at the event. There are so many easy portable versions now that eventually having a folding trestle table with mat on top seemed slapdash. It also wasn't there at the beginning and I changed my daughter on the floor. It's a shame there were no alcohol-free options for things like ciders or spirits. Plenty of soft drinks etc. We had a blast and everyone definitely got into the spirit. Great tunes, plenty of fun and would definitely go again!

A mythical house music club from the 90s, where good music continues to be played, like yesterday with @laidbackluke. But I was a little disappointed... 1) The entrance area is not in line with the fame of this club. 2) The interior, despite having several rooms with different DJs and musical styles, has remained in the past and has not evolved as the of clubs of Ibiza or NYC. Although my experience there has not been bad (despite the fact that the security is too rude and the drinks are excessively expensive), I expected more from a club as mythical as MoS.

I went to ministry 2 nights back for a Virgin Media event and to be honest, the event itself was quite boring however they decorated ministry so beautifully with trees and dancers around. The best bit of mine and my mates night was definitely the bar, we were served by this gorgeous girl named diamond! Which she certainly is one. She made us feel welcomed the whole night and she treated each customer fairly, she had a comforting smile and danced along to the music. I truly enjoyed my night due to her services and I will be certainly coming back.

Personally this was the worst freshers experience I have had.the music was absolutely terrible with only 5 good songs in the night.this was even in the Box room. The DJ would not shut up and consistently kept talking and anytime a semi good song would come up he would speak over it and do an unnecessary remix . The box is not for drill hip hop r&b or afrobeats. Just main stream pop music . This needs -1 stars but Google would not let me .

Went to an 8 hour day event. Flex fm 30th. Superb music in all rooms. The box is seriously loud. Good atmosphere maybe as a mostly older crowd majority 30+ plus its a daytime event. No idiots until about 730pm where the folks who can't handle their alcohol start to turn loud and aggressive. Club prices so waaay expensive. Double smirnoff n redbull £12.50 smal corona cans £5 just wow. I'm not a drinker but even bottled water £4 a hit. Would I go again. 100%

One of the worst nights of my life in a nightclub. I went and bought tickets to watch Alok playing his set here and ended up seeing him on a screen. Only one hour later ended up going in to the room that he was supposedly playing at. This room, at which they call it the box was crowded to the point that no one could move and everyone was pushing. Felt claustrophobic and surprised that during covid this place was sold out and overcrowded to the point that I didn’t even get to see the DJ. Overpriced drinks and staff is rude. Won’t ever comeback and I advise other people to do the same!

THE BEST GYM EVER! Hands down I go every week for Izzy and her classes. What an incredible coach you have and the reason I keep returning. Encouraging and uplifting during each class paired with great music and equipment - thank you Ministry for putting the fun back into my daily gym routine!

In depth review having used a 2 weeks unlimited membership taking 10 classes. Good coaches giving you plenty of motivation to sweat. Laura and Izzy were my favourites. Classes based on a HIIT system. Depending of the classes the work/rest ratio varies. Some classes are more muscle endurance and some are more cardio based. The big attraction for me was to workout in a clubbing atmosphere. It's dark, glittering lights and dope soundtracks. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that the studio is quite small (single archway) and it's packed (around 4 X 7 stations in a class). Good fun.

Very good night club, with good sound. Severals rooms and platforms with different style of music like techno or Rap US. The best room is on the left when you is arriving in the principle room. I saw that there are a lot of French people in this place, I was very surprised but that’s okay because I am a French girl. You need to take your ticket in advance, before the night on the site web, approximately £20 before midnight and £25 after midnight and for the changing room you need to have £6 for the coat and £6 for the bag. And beautiful room of toilets with mirrors, very big.

Love the venue, seen some good Hardstyle acts there. However the price for drinks is simply a rip off, £7-£10+ for a tin of beer, yes, a tin. Sort that out and it's five star

We went to MOS for Glitterbox on 6th November. I’d read a few reviews about the security being horrific and I fully expected a rough time getting in, but I’m pleased to report the security were fantastic with us, even having a laugh with me whilst being searched, not the usual sterile pat down. I’ve had some bad experiences with bouncers at other London clubs (heavy handed approach) so would not say anything positive unless it happened. The queue moved quickly, we were in within 10 mins. The box was awesome, bars were busy but we got served easily and there was plenty of water available. Little trick if you don’t like the size of the queue at the downstairs bars, go to the bar above the mens toilets, no queue whatsoever. The atmosphere was great, lots of people on the same level, just there to have a good time. Really refreshing visit to such a well known club. Would definitely go back.

Went on a strength building class on a Wednesday morning there. I absolutely loved the class - wouldn't recommend for beginners. Staff really helpful and the facilities are amazing. Good club with an amazing venue and djs. However, don’t question security cuz their gonna be verbally abusive to you and kick you out all alone in the freezing cold when you are not even drunk just because you were defending a friend. Also being judged cuz you have Asian eyes and they look half closed and that somehow indicates you are drunk. Not all of them are bad there are some pretty nice security guards that helped some girls that were spiked to get home safe and helped navigate the venue as it had different rooms with different types of music.

We danced all night from 9pm till 2am . It was brilliant, beautiful. The atmosphere was vibes. Security, professional polite, helpful really lovely. However there was a Female Bouncer stood near the Stage in a long cream coat, fair skined late thirty's thick set about 14 stones her engagement with the clientele was unlike the other staff.. she didn't determine such a wonderful evening we had but I knew simply to avoid her. I kept dancing. She was very pretty but perhaps she was fed up. X Thanks for a safe evening.

Basically we liked it, it wasn’t bad, we were at a Halloween party, the only thing we didn’t like was a lot of people that it was impossible to get through and separate rooms in which there was different music, these rooms are so small that it’s not possible to stay in them for 10 minutes

First time and was not what I expected. Very commercialised - crammed in as many people as possible . Was expecting more as it was a Glitterbox night - didn’t seem like it . Just the usual signage and glitter streamers .Was expecting a different vibe - I wanted to dance and enjoy myself - instead I spend most of my time moving out the way or being shoved out the way- left after 2 hrs .

It is mostly a London (Queen Mary) college students party and if your not one of those students you’ll be in the back of the club dancing with older people. It is a great club cause they had 3 separate rooms with 3 Djs on the bottom floor and then a VIP room which you have to buy more to get into on the 2nd floor.
